A REDUCED card for Saturday has restricted @selectabet to a double this weekend but he's confident he's found value in the lower reaches of the Football League.
Carlisle to score 2+
A couple of weeks ago Carlisle obliged for us with two goals against Yeovil and I think they can do so again, this time on the road at Notts County.
County are in freefall in League Two. Eight defeats in a row has seen them drop to just fourth from bottom of the table. They've scored just once in their last four and conceded two or more in five of the last six.
Carlisle are the second top scorers in the division, just three goals behind Doncaster and they won this fixture 5-0 when the two sides met at Meadow Lane in May. In fact Carlisle took a total of eight off County without reply in their two meetings last term and the form book suggested they can bag a couple on Saturday.
23-20 at William Hill looks too generous to pass up.
Brentford v Norwich – Over 2.5 goals
One shining light in Norwich's season was their 5-0 win over Brentford earlier this month. That win temporarily took the Canaries in to the top six but a run of three defeats in their last four matches had seen them plummet to twelfth, two places above opponents Brentford.
The Bees have been as equally inconsistent as Norwich with their last 10 reading W3 D1 L6 s0 if you can confidently pick a winner between these two then you're a better man than I.
But it's all about the goals for me and I reckon there could be a few at Griffin Park. All of the last four meetings have seen over 2.5 goals land with Norwich having the upper hand in three of those. Five of Brentford's last seven have seen over 2.5 goals, likewise in Norwich's last seven.
Both sides also feature in the top five of the Shots on Target table so we should expect plenty of goal mouth action in Sky Sports' last live match 0f 2017.
