IT wasn't the best of Saturdays with the Top Treble saving from a total wipe-out.
A Lionel Messi late show kept me alive early on with Barcelona -1 coming in. Bayern Munich -1 followed more comfortably as did Arsenal to score 2+.
The Morton Super Single always looked a loser after they trailed early and of the rest no Grimsby goal beat a btts treble that saw six goals in each of the other two matches.
Elsewhere Greg and Selectabet did well with two winners each out of three and Jordan's main tip landed. Scott Allot's both to score European treble came in thanks to Sampdoria's late consolation at home to Lazio.
Let's hope for more winners on a Super Sunday that sees four Premier League games and Derby face Forest in the Championship.
Who won't like Chelsea at home to West Brom while Liverpool should take care of West Ham with goals on the menu. Southampton v Middlesbrough and Man United v Spurs has the feel of draws.

Football’s best betting offer back in town and although I’m not a fan of backing draws, sometimes there are games where everything points to a stalemate!
Utd have been poor this season and I personally think they may struggle for a top 5 finish – as it is, Spurs look more likely to pip them for positional advantage but I can’t see either team making a massive case in the game itself.
Draws seem to be ‘de rigeur’ and whilst I can see both scoring, I can also see a war of attrition between the two managers’ tactics. Based on that, I think the draw is great value at 12/5 and really like the look of a 1-1 scoreline at 11/2.

The Sion game has a history of goals. Given that Lucerne are now up to about 23 consecutive games of “overs” and 6/8 of Sions home games have seen the BTTS and Overs outcome this season I will take a punt on it happening again. Early door kickoff today and I’m out of the house to watch it on my buddies computer screen:
Derby v Notts Forest :
I can’t remember the last time we played on a Sunday, but having this juicy game kept away from the usual cluttered 3pm kickoffs on a Saturday now seems par for the course. Finally somebody at Sky TV recognises that this local Derby match is a big big deal and more often than not, it is usually televised.
Derby come into this match on the back of a 5 match winning streak and the Derby manager sitting next to his shiny new manager of the month award. Whilst Forest have found a bit of momentum and made it 3 wins from their last 3.
Up until last year, Derby often came out on top in the head to head for the previous few seasons over both home and away fixtures and with momentum being the key to both teams going into this fixture, I managed to tip both teams to win their last matches in the run up to this one.
Forest missed a penalty and had a 2 man advantage and left it late to hand Newcastle a 2nd loss on the bounce, whereas Derby played quite a dour 1 nil win at the expense of Wigan.
But no other game is really like this one. From a Derby fans perspective, its our biggest game of the season, from a Forest fans perspective, its their 2nd. – but they’d love to stick one on us at our own ground.
Forest I think have the 2nd best attack in the league, whilst Derby have the 2nd best defence. Goals seem to be a problem at Derby and having lost both wingbacks through injury, its taken a good 10-20% of attacking options out of our game – thus our goal tally is down. However, the boss has opted for a much more rigid back 4 and whilst we’re still not hitting the high tempo football that we all ant at the Ipro, we’re turning poor games that maybe last season would of ended up as draws into narrow wins.
Most of Derby’s games this term have gone under 2.5 tmg’s, but it is one of thos games that could be very very tight or very end to end, you just don’t know.
Our cards tally in matches seems to be down, as does our corners per match.
This match and against Leeds used to be laden with cards, but lately, we’ve been a bit more disciplined. Both teams have. It’s also been a long long time since a player in this match got an early bath when it used to be every other time we faced off.
Given home advantage, a marginally better recent form and how Forest struggled to break down 9 men of Newcastle, I’m going for a narrow Derby win. Not a great price but its been moving around the 4/6 – 8/11 mark for most of the week on the straight win.
I should be up to post team news some time after 11.30am. I wouldn’t count on too many changes though as Derby do have quite a settled team and it seems that Steve McClaren is only changing out an odd player from match to match at most.

Celta Vigo are scoring against anyone and everyone at home, and I’m taking that to continue today. DEPORTIVO SAPRISSA VS. SANTOS DE GUÁPILES (23.00 KO):
Costa Rica’s Primera can be a cruel mistress at times but when it falls right, it can be an absolute cracker…I’m hoping this match will be inclined towards the latter!
When Saprissa are on song, they are unstoppable from the off and they’ll be looking to close the gap on leaders Herediano whilst opening up a further gap between them and 3rd placed Alajuelense.
SdG were beaten 0-3 at home in the reverse fixture not long back and the vast majority of H2Hs – 15 in 4 years – have seen Saprissa run out winners..actually Saprissa have won 14 and drawn one of those with zilch losses.
