IT was a disappointing Saturday that started badly with Leicester and went downhill.
With Hull's problems I really fancied the champions to start with a win but they were outbattled and the result beat my Super Single as well as Top Treble.
None of my 1pt accumulators won but at this stage of the season it's never going to be easy. Funnily enough teams I backed won at bigger prices but the likes of Newcastle and Dundee United were big letdowns.
My Bet of the Day for members only won though at evens and my Challenge Bet was void.
It's another busy day on Sunday with Man United at Bournemouth and Liverpool v Arsenal as the Premier League sparks into life and I've posted a separate preview.
Elsewhere there are plenty of games around the continent – including the Spanish Supercup between Sevilla and Barcelona – and that's on my goals double with Feyenoord who should beat AZ in a match with plenty of goals.
Barca have warmed up nicely in the Champions Cup while Sevilla drew 2-2 with Real in the UEFA Super Cup last week before losing in extra time. When Barca and Sevilla met a year ago in the UEFA Super Cup it was 5-4 and the champions can repeat their success with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi already looking sharp.
In my preview I tipped Liverpool to score 2+ and having read Johnb's thoughts on the game I'm putting that up as my Super Single. Both defences are weak so there should be goals.
My final tip is a Top Treble starting with Man United and Feyenoord -1. I agree with Greg on both accounts and at the price Jose Mourinho's men are worth the risk. Complete the treble with Stromsgodset who are going well in Norway to beat Start.

Arsenal are not an overrated team, they have finished top 4 the past how many seasons? People have just become accustomed to them being their without actually winning it, in regards to Liverpool how are we an overrated team? We have been in champions league ONCE in the past 6 seasons finishing 6-8th in virtually all, nowhere near top 4, the old Liverpool were top 4 bankers but in this new era we have been far from, even this year I am seriously doubting if we will make top 4 which is hardly overrated?
With your ‘splashing the cash but wasting it’ how do you come to this conclusion? This season in comings have cost us £67 mil whereas outgoings have brought in £40 mil, with us still holding sakho (deal likely to be done soon) benteke, balotelli and markovic, meaning we will be in profit for the season even with one more addition, and cash has been wasted the previous seasons at Liverpool but this season hasn’t even started yet so this can’t be determined and in my opinion it’s hard to pick out one player we have signed who will be a waste of money,
