I'VE posted Chelsea v Man Utd tips seperately and will do the same with Fulham v QPR later.

So for my top tips I'm concentrating on the npower leagues and I'd everything for small stakes with the games coming thick and fast.

Tiredness could play a part today especially with teams who played on Saturday – remember there were plenty of matches on Good Friday.

One side who played on Friday are Derby and they face a Leeds outfit who were in action 24 hours later. And while Derby beat Bristol City 3-0 Leeds slumped to a 3-0 loss at Ipswich.

So for that reason alone Derby look worth backing in the live teatime game (KO 5.05pm) at a best 5-2 with boylesports.

Another top reason is the fact Derby have amazingly won eight in a row against Leeds who have won just two of their last 12 games.

My treble starts with Championship leaders Cardiff even though they were in action on Saturday and lost at Peterborough. They are at home to Blackburn and need to keep winning at home or face seeing their lead closed down.

Malky Mackay's men have only lost twice in front of their home fans but seven times on the road now. Rovers are firmly in a relegation fight and have major problems scoring with just two goals in five games and no wins. As fragile as they are Cardiff should win.

Add Bournemouth at home to Scunthorpe with the home side back in the promotion hunt after four wins in a row. They face a Scunny side who ended a run of four losses by beating Orient but they remain just one point above the drop zone.

I might be taking a chance on this one but complete the treble with Stevenage at home to Hartlepool. Graham Westley is back at the club he led from non-league to League One and the new boss factor should give his side a lead.

Stevenage fan Milesey's convinced his side will win but that doesn't mean they will. However, Hartlepool haven't scored in six games – three of them 0-0 – and John Hughes's side are back at the foot of the table and looking relegation certs after an initial improvement under the Scos boss.

    DENMARK.

Sell your house, cat and everything of value – there’s huge value to be found in one of the four Danish games today!

Silkeborg was destroyed 5-0 in their last home game and are up for a serious beating today against the nr. 1 team in Denmark. FC Copenhagen are 9-1-0 in their last 10 and have all ready beaten Silkeborg twice this season by a total of 8-1.

I considered Copenhagen -1.5 but chose to invest more money on a straight win instead.

    Jupiler Overview – 1st April

Just been out round the shops – would have prefered not to be, but you know how it is – and it’s hard to find the Jupiler on BTTS coupons today. Bookies are aware of how often the market comes up, and today there’s lots of domestic and other higher profile leagues for BTTS. I had that in mind when I put some thoughts together last night, as, usually, there are still Jupiler league games on standard W-D-W coupons. But not today – so far as I could tell, annpying;y. Only went to Lads and PPower, though. Possibly Hills will have them…

Anyway, I’ve looked at all the games for BTTS and more besides – for anyone with accounts online, there’s a lot worth taking note of.

First line in each case is the match detail with the number in brackets showing each team’s current league position overall, together with W-D-W match odds. (Odds from betexplorer.)
Next comes each team’s current form in last five games played (a mix of home/away).
Finally, I’ve listed each team’s relative Home and Away strength for the league, and overall Home or Away only form, including goals for and against. Number in brackets is average goals for or against per game over the season.

Games are on this afternoon around 1.30 or 2.30 – can’t work out this clock-changing lark, though I did have alarm bells ringing when I saw Mr Fixit had signed to the Gers! Brilliant – loved it.

    (7) Cambuur v (5) G.A. Eagles H2.24 D3.35 A2.84
    Cambuur W1 D1 L3 F5 A7
    G.A. Eagles W3 D0 L2 F12 A11
    H (2) Cambuur P13 W9 D2 L2 F27 (2.07) A17 (1.31)
    A (6) G.A. Eagles P14 W5 D3 L6 F30 (2.14) A27 (1.93)

Cambuur are in an unremarkable 7th place in the league owing to their hopeless away form, but have the second best home record in the league. Eagles may be 5th in the league overall, but are patchy away.
It’s a definite BTTS, and it’s a definite Over 2.5, but with Cambuur’s home record rock solid, against a side that’s only the sixth best away in a poor league, at odds against, I’m far more interested in the home win.

    (9) Den Bosch v (4) Helmond H2.16 D3.34 A3.00
    Den Bosch W2 D3 L0 F11 A4
    Helmond W2 D1 L2 F7 A8
    H (10) Den Bosch P13 W6 D1 L6 F19 (1.46) A18 (1.38)
    A (5) Helmond P13 W6 D3 L4 F25 (1.92) A23 (1.76)

Den Bosch haven’t lost in 10 games (since 1st February). In that time they’ve played four at home: three wins and a draw. Also beat league leaders Sparta away 5-1 on 25th Feb. They’re the form side of the league, though last two (away) games have been draws. In the same period Helmond have played five away – two wins, one draw, two defeats. (One of those defeats 2-0 away to Cambuur.)
Den Bosch’s current form makes a mockery of the season’s scoring averages – this is a definite BTTS and Over 2.5. And I can’t see them losing. Odds are skimpy for one that’s quite close to call, but I think Den Bosch should carry off the win.

    (17) Eindhoven FC v (2) Volendam H4.67 D3.96 A1.59
    Eindhoven FC W0 D0 L5 F2 A13
    Volendam W4 D1 L0 F16 A4
    H (17) Eindhoven FC P12 W3 D1 L8 F18 (1.50) A28 (2.33) 1
    A (3) Volendam P12 W6 D3 L3 F24 (2.00) A15 (1.25)

Last time out, I said: one word – Volendam = BTTS. This time, there’s another word, though: Eindhoven. And with them, there’s a third word that springs immediately to mind. A nice way of putting it would be ‘keech’.
Volendam will thrash Eindhoven in this game, and BTTS odds will never rival any of the handicaps you could go for on this, let alone the straight away win. In their current form, I can see Volendam overcoming -3. Don’t know the odds, but you’d certainly be about trebling your money… Minus 2 would definitely be safe.
Definitely Over 2.5, but you can’t rely on Eindhoven for BTTS. That said, Away Win in some form is the shout.

    (12) Oss v (13) Almere City H2.07 D3.39 A3.15
    Oss W2 D1 L2 F4 A5
    Almere City W3 D0 L2 F8 A9
    H (16) Oss P13 W3 D4 L6 F14 (1.08) A24 (1.85)
    A (15) Almere City P13 W3 D1 L9 F18 (1.38) A33 (2.54)

Almere’s last five aways have been defeats. The last time they won away was 23rd November at Eindhoven. Are Oss good enough to beat them, though? They’ve played 9 games since 1st February and won three, drawn three and lost three. At home, they’ve won one, drawn two and lost two – the two losses were against the two best away sides in the league, Maastricht and De Grafschaap.
I wouldn’t stick my neck out for the Oss win, but it’s a definite lay of Almere.
It’s no to BTTS or Overs, based on the stats, but as we know, football isn’t played on Excel spreadsheets. This will no doubt be a 5-2 thriller.

    (8) Sittard v (16) Excelsior H1.96 D3.45 A3.40
    Sittard W3 D1 L1 F7 A3
    Excelsior W1 D2 L2 F9 A9
    H (8) Sittard P12 W6 D3 L3 F14 (1.16) A9 (0.75)
    A (17) Excelsior P13 W0 D3 L10 F15 (1.15) A33 (2.54)

Let’s just run over that Excelsior away record again…
Played 13. Won… Nil. Drawn… Three. Lost… Ten. Blimey, these guys are worse away than Eindhoven! Oh yeah – actually, they are. 17th best away record in a league of 17. Against a middling side that’s won half of their home games? At 1.96 for the home win? I’m on.
No to BTTS. No to Overs. Yes to Home Win – please double my money right there, Victor.

    (1) Sparta Rotterdam v (14) Emmen H1.43 D4.35 A6.09
    Sparta Rotterdam W1 D1 L3 F6 A11
    Emmen W3 D1 L1 F9 A7
    H (1) Sparta Rotterdam P13 W10 D1 L2 F34 (2.62) A17 (1.31)
    A (13) Emmen P13 W2 D4 L7 F16 (1.23) A23 (1.77)

This is the team at the top of the league with the best home record, but they’re slipping. They’ve lost their last two games home and away and drew the one before that. On the other hand, it’s impossible to make a solid case for Emmen based on a run of 14 games from October to February where they didn’t win once, losing 8 and drawing 6. True, that run was followed by four wins in a row, including beating Maastricht away on the 1st March. However, their last two games have been a draw and a loss, beaten 4-1 by de Graafschap away and drawing with Telstar at home, so, the recovery bubble has burst.
I would leave well alone – the main point is it’s no home banker with Sparta wobbling badly, but Emmen aren’t reliable enough to be tempted by laying the home either.
Based on season’s form, it looks like BTTS and Over 2.5, but it really depends on the depth of Sparta’s slump.

    (15) Telstar v (3) Maastricht H3.01 D3.30 A2.16
    Telstar W1 D2 L2 F6 A8
    Maastricht W2 D1 L2 F8 A7
    H (14) Telstar P12 W4 D4 L4 F12 (1.00) A12 (1.00)
    A (1) Maastricht P12 W8 D3 L1 F24 (2.00) A13 (1.08)

Maastricht’s recent games have all been against the big boys – they beat top of the table Sparta in the gameweek before last – and their home form is not great, but away is where they come into their own. At odds against, those stats convince me.
Telstar aren’t terrible at home, but haven’t beaten any of the big boys all season.
    It’s an away for me.
I’d leave BTTS and Overs alone based on current scoring by both sides and Telstar’s season record.

So, my suggestion for a pretty tasty double:
    Volendam Away Win 1.59
    Sittard Home Win 1.96
    Pays 3.12

I’m going for the treble and will add Maastricht Away 2.16
    Pays 6.73

I’m also going with a separate double on Cambuur Home 2.24
    And Den Bosch Home 2.16
    Pays 4.83

    BTTS Treble
    Cambuur
    Den Bosch
    Sparta

The UHT, that’s a great write-up on the Dutch games. I can’t do much on them when there’s a big UK card but will be taking some of your picks. In bookies’ defence they’ll always put top-flight games on a coupon ahead of lower league ones and there’s only so many you can put on a coupon.

Not sure where it is elsewhere but coral have gave me 7/5 for Volendam -1! To be honest, I thought it would be a lot shorter. Paddy Power has gave me 5/4. While Eindhoven surprisingly only lost by the one goal to Helmond Sport, they are really struggling with lots of injuries and I simply can’t see the home team containing such an attacking team. This should be a rout. Volendam could win this by more than three or four goals but I’ll take the safer option

Super Single: Volendam -1 7/5 Coral

  6. John Bryan 11 years ago

Sittard at 1/1 home win and Volendam -1 at 1/1 both at Bet365.

  7. The UHT 11 years ago

Nice one, Dean! That looks safe, definitely.

I was only able to nip into Paddy P quickly and it was fairly busy, and it’s one of those branches where if the game’s not on the coupon, it’s not being played. Plus there are no clothes shops nearby that could distract an impatient lady!

  8. The UHT 11 years ago

That nice Mr Chandler has offered me:

    MVV Maastricht 2.1 / Fortuna Sittard 2.0 / FC Volendam -1 1.77 = 7.43

    Cambuur 2.2 / FC Den Bosch 1.95 = 4.29

  9. dean 11 years ago

Nice one UHT! Quick look at BetVirus shows Eindhoven have been beaten by the handicap 4 times in their last 6 games. Handicap bets are never bankers and I don’t use the term loosely, but if I was ever confident of such a bet, it would be this game

Considering the amount of games on today nothing really stands out! Going to go for a couple of good priced teams and focus on over 2.5 goals!

Best double is has to be Sligo and Derry City! They are playing UCD and Bray, UCD are rock bottom and are conceding goals for fun! Sligo -1 looks a good shout too

Massive price for Ipswich against Millwall today. My brothers a Milwall season ticket holder and his generally got money on Ipswich today. They barely created chances against 10 men for 85 mins and easily could have lost the game against Leicster, they’ve struggled since losing Wood to Leicster to score goals (Unless a defender pops up) and with players having Wembley in two weeks in the back of their mind i cant see and fully commited challenges flying in. With Ipswich on the back of a 3-0 victory confidence should be high and I expect a win.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, at the end of the day no bet is guaranteed. The Dane’s tips in general are usually pretty good so you have to take the rough with the smooth. Maybe he should have reined in his confidence a bit rather than advise people to put their “house, car, etc on them”.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Most of us that live in the real world understrand theres no certs..the way some of these boys putting the boot is pathetic though. FFS.

  46. Manager 11 years ago

Yeah that’s what I meant Paul went with what I thought was the safest option from the write up. No wonder I usually skip past his boring comments! Never again Dane, never again!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Manager, you’re being a little unfair. From what I could see everything pointed to a Copenhagen win but in football you get surprises. I don’t follow Danish football so even if I see a tip on here I’m reluctant to take it. I’d rather pick my own.

  47. Badham 11 years ago

Jeeeze can’t believe this! The Dane takes his time out to help all us guys out just like many on this site, if you don’t want to take the tips then don’t.

Fair play they have let a lot of people down including myself but no need to get irate about it don’t bet what you can’t afford at the end of the day and always expect to lose then you can’t be dissapointed only happy if you win.

If you wona take a pop at anyone take a pop at me I tipped Ipswich earlier the game ended 0-0?

  48. weordie 11 years ago

Guido if you look at my comment I actually pointed out I didn’t take the tip from here, I picked them myself and failed. I’m blaming no-one but myself

Weordie, I don’t think he’s talking about you. People have to understand The Dane and others put up tips in good faith. The Dane had reasoning to back his bet but he can’t make Copenhagen play well, he can’t affect the result. There are very few bankers in football and punters have to accept that.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Weordie, wizna pointing the finger at u..just a few folks were going overboard go having a mad go at DANE…thot it was a bit over the top. No his fault if FCC didnt turn up today. Bet ya DANE feels worse than everyone that lost put togther

  49. Patrick 11 years ago

Sounds like a few of us have been April Fools today :(
Completely gutted and sustained my heaviest ever single day losses today. Waking up, I knew it would be a great day or a desperate one and sadly, it has been the latter. No point betting any more today as frankly, I’d manage to lose a double headed coin toss!

I’m actually reluctant to bet on anything for the foreseeable future but I supposed that’s normal whenever anyone loses big.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Patrick, I think Betfair are doing 1/4 odds on double headed coin tosses…worth an £1 e/w..check with Milesey..mite be 1/3!! Ach some days its dizzzzapointing, but the next win is just around the corner. Imagine how poor DANE feels at the mo – no house, wife, car, even lost his shirt…park bench for poor DANE tonight :-) chin up Dane, its not the end of the world FFS

  50. weordie 11 years ago

Mr. F I know, I picked them because I figured a top vs. bottom was as safe as could be, unfortunately my luck has been utterly rank rotten the last 2 months and if I backed a team 3-0 up with 1 minute to go they’d lose 4-3 just now

    • Guido 11 years ago

If anyone has got a sleeping bag left after Copenahagens demise I suggest they put it on a cert…tommorrow is Tuesday!! :-) ;-)

    • Sean Ireland 11 years ago

Its sure to be wednesday if i backed it.

  51. the chief 11 years ago

Cheers for the treble MR F, I did yours and did mine own and Palace let mine down (Hereford + mk dons were the others), they seem to have it the wall pretty sure they was top when he went there, just gonna hav a look at tonights game after rugby and hopefully teams will be out.

seems Copenhagen done some peoples bet, you just gotta look at the tips you like, I know now nothing about that league so don’t get involved unless the person tipping it refunds my losing bet lol

  52. ttony h 11 years ago

Well done today on your treble bet

  53. Max 11 years ago

An unbelievable weekend. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester united, there’s many more I just can’t remember. Copenhagen was just the icing on the cake. The Dane was right in his reasoning for the prediction, albeit a tad hyperbolic. No one saw that coming.

Think that’s it for me for the time being….

  54. Guido 11 years ago

I remember a few years back in on African Cup jobs..maybe 5/6 years ago?? Anyhow Angola were host nation and doing well…they were playing some other mob and were leading 4-0 after 80 minutes…the final result was 4-4!!! no thats what I would say was unbelievable…imagine if ya had yer hoose on them at 4-0 ahead and went off oot to the Offy to get a carry-oot to celebrate after 80 mins n came back home to find oot you’d actually lost!!!

  55. Milesey 11 years ago

With his Masters preparation in disarray, Rory McIlroy has added this week’s PGA Tour event to his schedule in order to get more competitive golf under his belt. Not convinced it’s a good idea…

The avalanche of money behind Tiger Woods’ bid for a fifth US Masters title shows no sign of stopping after none of his closest rivals made a meaningful bid for the Houston Open, which instead went to rank outsider D A Points. Matched at the maximum odds of 1000.0 pre-tournament, Points became the fifth triple-figure priced winner from the last seven PGA Tour strokeplay events. Given that the other two were won by Woods, with some ease, it’s hard to argue with the market.

To be fair, it wasn’t all bad news for leading Masters candidates. Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood and Louis Oosthuizen all flirted with contention, which they will doubtless take as a decent warm-up for Augusta. Dustin Johnson was the biggest market mover, shortening 20 points to 34.0 for Augusta after a closing 65. More significantly, Tiger’s nearest rival at the top of both the world rankings and the Masters market was conspicuous in his absence from weekend leaderboards. In keeping with the rest of his terrible start to 2013, Rory McIlroy could only muster 45th place, 12 shots off the lead.

In response, the world number two has opted in to this week’s Texas Open, claiming that he felt his game was coming together but felt rusty and needed extra tournament practice. If McIlroy’s only problem really is rustiness, one has to question his highly paid advisers for arranging a strangely light schedule. Steve Rawlings pointed out the madness of this strategy weeks ago on these pages, free of charge.

According to the early market, punters haven’t lost faith in Rory, installing him as 10.5 favourite. For my money, however, he represents terrible value. The ‘rust’ argument is almost certainly true, but it cannot tell the whole story. It should not make the difference between being the standout best player in the world at the end of 2012, to making just one top-20 this year. Of course he’ll be back soon, as with all great players going through a bad patch, but without evidence of marked improvement, there’s no reason to assume it will be this week.

Furthermore, even if Rory does find some form, this opposition will be no pushover. The likes of Charl Schwartzel, Matt Kuchar and Ian Poulter, for instance, have their own realistic chance of Augusta glory. Based on all recent evidence, it’s hard to see why Schwartzel should be four points bigger than McIlroy.

Finally, there is a specific reason to oppose the favourite this week – the course. The last two renewals at San Antonio have yielded big-priced winners amidst very strong winds. Long-term Rory watchers will know he has a terrible record in very windy conditions, struggling to alter his usual high ball-flight. I can envisage Rory struggling from the off, soon regretting the decision to play a course he never previously planned to, and losing interest. The best way to profit from such a scenario is to lay McIlroy for both the top-five and top-ten markets, at around 4.0 and 2.0 respectively.

    Recommended Bets

Lay Rory McIlroy for a top-five finish
Lay Rory McIlroy for a top-ten finish

    —————————————

    recent Augusta trends…

    Course form: Previous Augusta experience

At least a certain amount of tournament experience is a pre-requisite of Masters success. No debutant has won since the 1970s and this century, only Charl Schwartzel and Zach Johnson had made fewer than three previous appearances. Not an encouraging stat for backers of Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler or Jason Day.

Previous success there, however, is not so important. Five champions this century were registering their first Augusta top-ten and last year’s play-off loser, Louis Oosthuizen, had missed all three previous cuts.

Recent Form: Warm-up events are a poor guide

Recent winning form hasn’t been essential lately in this major. Of the last six champions, only Charl Schwartzel had won on a main tour already that year and that was in a low-grade co-sanctioned affair in his homeland, for which he’d started a short-priced favourite.

Moreover, winning either of the two principal warm-up events has recently proved to be a jinx. None of the last seven winners of either the Arnold Palmer Invitational or Houston Open followed up at Augusta, and only two went on to make the frame, Tiger Woods and Anthony Kim. Having partially broken the rule already, there is a temptation to exclude Woods, but punters steaming into his ever-shortening odds might do well to remember last year. Then, Tiger assumed Masters favouritism by winning at Bay Hill, only to finish a miserable 40th.

Nationality: Back Americans and South Africans, avoid Europeans and Aussies

Obviously, home players tend to thrive and as they’ve won every PGA Tour event so far this year, it makes sense to back Americans. Of the overseas contingent, one nationality has fared much better than the rest. Every world-class South African to have played Augusta this century has managed to either win or finish second. Trevor Immelman and Charl Schwartzel won the event. Ernie Els and Retief Goosen finished runner-up no fewer than five times between them. Tim Clark, Louis Oosthuizen and Rory Sabbatini also finished second.

In stark contrast, European fortunes have deteriorated markedly since their 1980s and 1990s heyday. No European has won since Jose-Maria Olazabal 14 years ago, and despite a stronger than ever team on paper, recent form has not been encouraging. It could be worse. Australia have never produced a Masters champion, despite the best efforts of Greg Norman and Adam Scott.

Age: Avoid players in their forties or younger than 25

Every Masters winner this century was aged between 25 and 39. That range covers most of the leading candidates, but notably not Rory McIlroy or Phil Mickelson. The average age this century is 31.69. Leading contenders at the perfect age of 32 include Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker and Adam Scott.

    Trends-based shortlist

If the above four trends are all maintained, we can ignore the top-three in the betting for one reason or another. We can also take out the Europeans, Aussies plus those with minimal Augusta experience. Of players currently trading at less than 100.0, nine meet the criteria – Brandt Snedeker, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan, Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson, Nick Watney and Bill Haas.

  56. weordie 11 years ago

Guido some student in Scotland did put his student loan on them at 4-0 and lost the whole lot, I remember seeing that in a forum at the time, put the whole whack on in the hope of winning something like £50 for a night out.

    • Guido 11 years ago

hahaha..thats students for ya Weordie!! f&&&ers live for today!!! ;-) on all known form Sligo should also do the biz tonite against Univesity College Dublin..probsblt another pile of greasy students on the lash all Easter holidays be feelin like shit. Prob add them ..5/4 shot with Lanus coz I think its a good chance of coming in. Notice Milesey backing Braga. Milesy ya confident? if so maybe a trixie/bump up the odds?

    • Stephen Miller 11 years ago

Braga looks a good shout at 10/11 on bet365 they have won there last 5 games http://uk.soccerway.com/teams/portugal/sporting-braga/1682/

  57. RabTheHermit 11 years ago

I was on Copenhagen as well but took it before I saw The Dane’s post. No brainer- usually. First time since October Silkeborg have kept a clean sheet and the first time in the league since October that Copenhagen have failed to score. It happens. Everything went Silkeborg’s way today but having watched the match I thought they thoroughly deserved it. Next time out they will probably go back to getting pumped though as usual.

Its also a dodgy time in the season where the likes of Copenhagen are as good as champions and the teams in the relegation zone find a little extra as they scrap for survival.

  58. weordie 11 years ago

I had CSKA Moscow, FC Copenhagen, Sligo Rovers, Leyton Orient and Bournemouth as well as single on man utd… my day is over. Hell my month is over, 100% loss this past 5 days, I couldn’t pick myself out of a line-up of one if it was just me staring at a mirror

  59. Seamus 11 years ago

    Nice treble and super single.

Well in Paul, cheesing! More of the same tomorrow big chap LOL

  60. Striker 11 years ago

Nice job mr fixit today and bad luck The Dane, it was a shocker. I took nordealland in play at half time at 13/10 and then put winnings on Copenhagen, so it canceled it out. But i think people are being too harsh, you should take the tips as advice and then apply your own consideration. I thought it was a done deal, but that’s how it goes in gambling.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Well said Striker! Poor Dane – was looking like a remake of Easter 2000 years ago..being lined up by the baying crowd for Crucification..Mr F was in the role of Pontius Pilate “What crime had Dane committed? I can find no wrong with this man’s tips, I am free from the blood of this righteous man. Know that!” hahaha… ;-)

  61. Sharon Macdonald 11 years ago

No Gary Mackey Steven or Russell for dun utd, st Johnstone must b a bet for the night

  62. Sharon Macdonald 11 years ago

Good show again mr f, follow the super singles religiously, keep em comin!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Sharon, single and treble up,happy days.

  63. Stephen Miller 11 years ago

took you’re tip on St Johnstone a think they might do it but we will see come 9.45

  64. Guido 11 years ago

    Milesey – r u a righteous man?? ;-)

  65. Dean 11 years ago

I haven’t read the above posts but if some people on here are pointing fingers at The Dane then it is pathetic and it shows, in my eyes, that you are not a man. I mean, if I knew Silkeborg would Betting can be very difficult and in order to have some success, every individual needs to carry out their own research, whether that is looking at the form guides or using statistical websites to make informed decisions.

Betting tip sites such as Mrfixitstips are great as it is helpful to find out what other peoples opinions are but I would never place a bet purely based on someones word.

Everyone is accountable for their own actions. Take responsibility,

  66. Guido 11 years ago

Sligo have scored. Thank f&&&…could see another baying crowd heading for Stevenage with a handful of nails an a big lump o wood!! hahaha :-)

  67. Dean 11 years ago

Sorry some of that didn’t make sense!

What I meant was, if I knew Silkeborg were going to win I would’ve backed them to win to nil. Nice price that would be. Unfortunately, the only way to predict the outcome of a game is by looking at statistics, form and team news. Not many would’ve backed Silkeborg as it simply wouldn’t have made sense to. Shocks happen, we deal with it, we move forward

  68. Dean 11 years ago

Guido, I see you are on Sligo then. Is that a single?

What are you on tonight mate. I’m on Sligo, Nimes and Lanus as a treble – Small stakes

Nimes are losing 1-0 though, half time now

    • Guido 11 years ago

Dean i went with a double, Sligo and Lanus as main bet. Also did separate line of Steaua, Sligo n Braga trixie

  69. Dean 11 years ago

Ok good luck with that then. Wishing I just went with Sligo and Lanus now. 56 mins gone and Nimes havent even had a shot on goal! Total joke

    • Guido 11 years ago

Dean been burnt once to often by Frech teams..I aviod them all completely now. Suppose one mans meat is another poison..ya know?

  70. RabTheHermit 11 years ago

Watching St Pauli at the moment and their goalkeeper has just equalised with a header.

  71. The Dane 11 years ago

Sorry guys, I hope that none of you actually sold your house and placed the money on FC Copenhagen who lost to Silkeborg :-(

I did manage 3 out of 4 though and have now increased my Danish only bankroll by 21.70% :-)

    The Dane.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Dane, going by the earlier comments I think some of them did. They won’t be pleased to hear you had a good day overall.

    • Guido 11 years ago

hahaha :-) classic from DANE..oblivious to the earlier ructions/distress coming from many quarter…”still made a 21 percent profit” despite Copenhagens demise…hald the lads on her had the nails n wid oot for him ready to crucify him!!! hahaha :-) ya have to smile ;-)

    • Guido 11 years ago

like that one Paul..”they wont be pleased that you had a good day overall” :-) :-) ya have to laff/this site is comedy gold

  72. Dean 11 years ago

Yeah, I understand what you mean Guido to an extent. I tend to avoid teams that keep letting me down. i.e. Sheffield Utd.

Nimes have finally hit the target, 80th Minute lol

Sligo looking very good now at 2-0. I was close to backing them on the handicap, wrote it on a bet slip but decided not to go with it. Regrets

    • Guido 11 years ago

Dean id been in the Copenhagen level of distres shown by some of the lads to day if Sligo had f**&&ed up..thankfully not/gets a nice run at Lanus later. Perosnally I never fo near Aberdeen, Watford and any French team now!!

  73. Craig alves 11 years ago

whinge whinge f*ckin whinge!!! The Danes up for today yet still getting stick for 1 losing bet haha unbelievable. Keep it up Dane, always like reading your posts and your percentage betting is interesting to follow. Even when you first posted your percentage betting some were giving you stick back then

  74. Dean 11 years ago

There’s no need for you to apologise The Dane.

I’m feel very let down by Copenhagen as I had them in a four fold with CSKA Moscow, Volendam and Sligo Rovers. But that’s football, no one could have predicted that.

I know Danish Football isn’t the most popular league for betting, but having someone on this site who specializes in this division is very helpful and insightful.

I will continue to take an interest in your tips.

    • The Dane 11 years ago

Thanks Dean and Craig alves. If anybody had Silkeborg at +7.00 congrats from me. 15 out of 15 Danish newspapers had FC Copenhagen as a sure win and that combined with the stats made it a very good investment to me.

Regarding my percentage betting I’m planning a demonstration next weekend. A total of 10 bets Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be placed and posted to show you guys another way of using math in your betting – and making money doing it.

      The Dane.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Dane, look forward. With your winnings you may have to be some people cars. Guy down the road from me’s selling two or three “in mint condition” for under £500 if you want his number.

    • Guido 11 years ago

hahahahahahaaaaa :-) :-) nice one Paul. My Bday tommorrow..hopefully Lanus see it in early doors with a nice wee win

    • MUZZA 11 years ago

How old are you tomorrow Guido? Many happy returns BTW!!

Bit of swinging and dogging to celebrate?? ;-)

    • Guido 11 years ago

all the 4’s..44 Muzz. What age r u?

    • MUZZA 11 years ago

4 less Guido – blind 40! Have a good day tomorrow pal! Off to get ma fat swede down and hope that Lanus & Platense come up trumps on my sleeper bet after the 95th minute equaliser at Steaua done me for £420!

    • Guido 11 years ago

Aye…Steaua…dizzzappointing. :-( Been signed off work with bronchial pneumonia from last week…not too bad now but felt like shit last week/knocks stuffing oota ya…clearing up now. Went out for easy 45 mins on bike other day/was knackered!! Dunno if I’m able to go back when I want with these “unfit to work” certificates which runs to the end of this week? Dunno if there’s legal/insurance issues for the workplace ya know??

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, happy birthday … and catching me quick.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Thanks Paul. Taxes and time….2 things ya can do nuthin to stop!! ;-)

    • The Dane 11 years ago

I might have to think about that Mr. Fixit :-)

    • robert miller 11 years ago

The Dane, i always follow your posts with interest as you know, so what units will be required for your 10 bets

will prob have a go on a pro rata basis

    • The Dane 11 years ago

robert miller, sorry didn’t see your post until this morning. I’ll be working from a fixed 200 units bankroll.

  75. Dean 11 years ago

Sorry to see Steaua concede in injury time Guido. Still, if Braga wins, you will get a return. Good luck with Lanus

    • Guido 11 years ago

Aye bummer Dean..was doing something/wisna watching n didnt notice ..ach well..see if Braga can get me something oot of it

  76. John 11 years ago

I totally agree, nobody has a crystal ball and can see the end of a game, we all go by stats and form and instinct, sometimes were right and sometimes were wrong, The Dane has a bankroll and uses it as best he can, he knows he can afford to lose it….i’ll be keeping an eye on his Danish tips

I done £25 on yer Sligo -2 tip Alex for a nice £90 return. Well needed after a poor day with Sheffield Utd letting me down. Cheers.

  81. Greg Browning 11 years ago

Well what a disaster of afternoon! All lines down, put the last money of my pot on over 2.5 goals in the Leeds game, Sligo obliged for my Sligo/Derry double and over 3.5 bookings in the st Johnstone game to turn an awful into an alright day :)

Well done on the handicap double Alex,’I stayed safe with them just to win, will definitlely be keeping an eye on that league

Oh and can I just say well done to My team fro making the top 6 tonight last minute goal :)

  84. MrT 11 years ago

How is it that even though the majority of tips here are spot on I seem to always pick the losing 20-30%.

Had to place bets early so missed out on all mr F’s tips. Went with a Danish double (enough said) and managed somehow pick all of Milesy’s losing tips and only win was on Sligo / Moscow double. Sean seemed so convinced by his treble that went for that. And went big on Man U. And now Lanus are losing as well!

All said keep up good work. Best forum I’ve found for sound tips.

I think it might help if everyone gave a confidence rating out of 10 for tips.

Let’s hope Tuesday’s my lucky day!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr T, that’s an interesting idea. Today I’ll give myself about 8 out of 10. Wrong with Chelsea-Man Utd, one team beat for btts but pretty much everything else correct. Anyone got a score for The Dane?

  85. Striker 11 years ago

Guido, is it time for your crucifixion now? Lol
    Lanus 0-1 down

  86. the chief 11 years ago

Lol @ the Dane apologizing for Copenhagen tip then boasts about his nice profit, classic. Don’t apologise mate u don’t force them to bet your selections, but ur post made me laugh, anyhow I’m checking stats for tomoz games. good day with Mr F treble and 2 out of 3 bets on tonights wild game at the cottage.

  87. Guido 11 years ago

Striker..haha..u read ma mind there!! ;-) ach well, who said life or winning money was supposed to be easy…sure they’ll come back n win 3-1 hopefully

  88. Clippy 11 years ago

I think The Danes ‘Sell your House/Cat/Car’ comment was a fair indication of how confident he was. :D

If a team screws up, they screw up. It’s just one of those things unfortunately……

  89. Guido 11 years ago

Id give DANE 3 oota 4..04 7.5/10..cos thats what he scored today for a nice profit!! hahaha it was a classic…sorry about Copenhagen, they lost to Silkeborg (think half of Scotland knew before DANE did!!) but I made a nice profit on the day!! hahahaha…i was like a David Brett moment in the Office…”the bad news is, some of you will lose your job, but the good news is I’ve ben promoted!!”…there is no good news just bad news and irrelevant news said the geeky accountant looking fella in response!! entertainment wise 10/10 today!! :-)

  90. MrT 11 years ago

    Red card for Quilmes!

    • Guido 11 years ago

Watchin a bit on stream Mr T…Quilmes hangin on by hook or by crook/asaults etc! ;-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, have a good day. Walking the dug then calling it a night. Should be a profitable day tomorrow.

  91. The UHT 11 years ago

I’ve gone with The Dane several times – already I’m regretting that turn of phrase = and he’s never let me down. I wasn’t on Copenhagen today, because, like him. I work off a bank, but I like the fact he went for it – AND he told us how much he was putting on it from his bank. He LIKED it – he LOVED it – but he was pretty clear on how much he was putting on it.

Thereafter, it was up to us to decide… It’s betting!

  92. Guido 11 years ago

Lanus h/t stats – attempts on goal Lanus 10-3 Quimes , 6-0 for Lanus in corners… 1 sent off for Quilmes and most importantly Lanus 0-1 Quilmes in goals. FFS…nuthin else to do but laff really..or cash in??

  93. Mr T 11 years ago

So there 2 Mr T’s on here , sorry pal there’s only room for one.

I say we have a bet off, 1 bet each until we lose, in my case the names yours

  94. Part Time Punter 11 years ago

Good eye clippy, they gave me the option to cash out before the end of the game in which I did, good thing too by the looks of it, lanus still thinks its April fools

  95. MrT 11 years ago

Quilmes 4 shots, 2 on target, 2nd goal just scored with 10 men. Think I should just go to bed and give up betting for the day.

  96. Mr T 11 years ago

Honestly it seems to be every night William hills has some sort of technical issues , getting really sick of missing out on bets cause there system is knackered

  97. Guido 11 years ago

2-2 in end. Went to make sum grub when 0-2 and they turned it round..cashed in shorty after…made 6 quid more than I put on..always tommorrow I suppose..thot theyd win and the stats backed it, fair play Quilmes tho, had the bit bteen their teeth by looks of it/determined not to lose
