GREG'S been ill for the past few days but is on the mend and hoping to end the month with some winners. He's picked put some UK bets but reckons it could pay by focusing on the European leagues.

Everton v Bournemouth (3pm)

The Toffees can count themselves unlucky to have been knocked out of the FA Cup last week. Romelu Lukaku had an absolute nightmare, missed two one-on-ones, a penalty and countless other chances.

They face a Bournemouth side who have secured Premier League status for next season which is a tremendous feat. They lost heavily last week at home to Chelsea and although neither side has anything to play for Roberto Martinez needs a win and anything but three points will see number of peope calling for him to leave increase. Taking Everton to get a much-needed win at Goodison.

Back Everton 6-5 (WIlliam Hill) (NAP)

Scottish over 2.5 goals treble

Ayr v Airdrie
Forfar v Brechin
Dunfermline v Peterhead

Pays 11-5

Newcastle v Crystal Palace (3pm)

Another home game another late goal – after 70 minutes or when it reaches 5-6.

St Etienne v Toulouse (7pm)

The hosts are flying after winning their last five without conceding. They have a terrific chance to confirm European football next season if they can beat relegation-threatened Toulouse. They need the points to help them stay up but for the hosts to be even money is far to good to ignore! Taking them to edge this.

Back St Etienne 1-1 (Bet365) (NB)

Grasshopper v Young Boys (4.45pm)

The Young Boys from Bern are one of the form teams in European football. They’ve won nine of their last 10 scoring an incredible 32 goal in the process. Been no shortage of goals in their matches against today's opponents. Goals definitely the way to go here. Over 2.5 goals should stroll in at 1-2 and Young Boys to score two looks good. Going for match goals here.

Back over 1.5 First half goals 11-10
Over 3.5 match goals 11-10

It’s not often the bookies get it wrong, hopefully they do here! Happy to take the risk given they need the win, are at home and are in great form!
