AFTER Saturday's setback I was delighted to make it four Super Single win in five days thanks to Napoli.
And the fact there was no sweat made it sweeter as Rafael Benitez's men, 10-11 almost across the board, romped to a 3-0 win at Cagliari.
My second-choice pick Spurs also won at Newcastle on a day when neither cup semi-final favourite – Celtic or Liverpool – could get the job done although both will point to refereeing howlers denying them.
The five-point tip was my only winner on a pretty tough day but it's the most important one and this month the Super Single is showing a decent profit.
There aren't many big games on Monday as we build to another midweek European feast but Fiorentina face Verona in Serie A and David Moyes's Real Sociedad are at Elche in La Liga.
All the Jong dudes are in action on Holland – Jong Twente tackle Jong Ajax and Jong PSV face Roda. That should mean goals and I'll have a look at the head to heads before deciding.
There are six games in the League of Ireland with leaders Dundalk at home to Galway. Second-placed Cork entertain promoted Longford and third-placed Shamrock Rovers travel to Bray. Cork and Rovers remain unbeaten after eight games while winless Limerick welcome Derry.
Cork have won their last three home games by a 10-0 aggregate and go on the Top Treble with Fiorentina and Kaiserslautern. Fiorentina have suffered back-to-back 3-0 defeats against Napoli and Juventus but a meeting with lowly Verona gives them a chance to get back on track and they can't have given up hope of chasing Roma or Lazio down in the chase for a Champions League spot.
Fiorentina face five of the bottom eight in their final seven games so will fancy their chances of a strong run-in. I've seen comments suggesting Fiorentina and both to score and with this coming up in the last two meetings – including 4-3 in Florence last season – and that pays 11-5 at 888sport.
Kaiserslautern are pushing hard for a return to the Bundesliga and will climb to second if they beat Leipzig at home. Leipzig lie sixth, seven points behind their hosts, and this could be their last chance of closing the gap but Kaiserslautern are hot favourites thanks to an incredible home record.
They are are unbeaten this season, in fact they haven't lost in front of their home fans for more than a year, and have won their last six at the Fritz-Walter Stadium.
I had a couple of Super Singles in mind but have plumped for League of Ireland champions and leaders Dundalk -2 Asian Handicap at home to promoted Galway.
Dundalk have won the last five at home to Galway but the sides haven't met in the league since 2011. They remain unbeaten this season and have won three of their last six games 3-0. Galway have lost four of their last five including a 3-0 loss at Shamrock and 2-0 defeat at Cork.
Going by stats and form Dundalk should win this 2-0 or 3-0 but I'm put off the win to nil by the fact keeper Gary Rogers is banned after being sent off against Shamrock on Friday. So I'm taking Dundalk -2 on the Asian Handicap and the stake is returned if they win by two.
I can't see teams news for any of the Jong games yet and that could be key when deciding whether to go for goals. Roda's last three games have finished 7-0 and 3-0 either side of a 6-0 loss to Sparta Rotterdam. They should win at Jong PSV and are a best 4-5 at BetVictor but let's hope the right Roda team turns up.
Regarding goals over 3.5 goals pays 13-8 at BetVictor and 3+ Roda goals returns 12-5 at Coral. I initially read the 6-0 loss as a win (it's the way results are displayed sometimes) so I'm changing the goals bet to over 3.5 match goals – and thanks to Daniel for picking up on the mistake.

Been having a look at fiorentina and theyve not been in great form but the corners may be where to go. Verona hardly been getting any corners recently to any decent opposition at most 3. And fiorentina can really rack them up. dont like taking handicaps especially as big as -3.5 asian so il go for the race to 7 though only at 1.61 so may be am inplay though their team corners is only 1 more than that at evens which is do able. fiorentina got 10 away to verona and id imagine theyl want a positive result tonight

Far more than 5 good tipsters on here. Everyone does their bit. and shouldnt put anyone down on here who tries to have a go. Can only improve with experience and gain confidence. Could be thousands of good tipsters on here who are too nervous to comment and should come out of the shadows but think people wont take notice.

What is the criteria for the award of ‘best tipster’? Most profit over a period of time? Best percentage of winners to tips in a week, month or year? Best percentage of winners to tips in an hour or a day? Or just basically an award from someone who has very little ability in beating the bookies and feels very inferior to those who do have that ability and feels the need to try and stir it up? It all makes for great reading though but does detract a bit from the actual guys who do take the time to study then post some excellent tips. ranford72 takes time to post and praise me which I appreciate but I am not the best tipster on here as there is no best tipster it is simply a collective of some very knowledgeable tipsters, some good tipsters, some not to good tipsters and plenty only here to stir it up. As Winston Churchill once said, an Olive branch must be Spick and span and not Greasy to be seen as an apology….

GD173, I will risk losing a maximum of 10 points a day. If I have early winners I can have more bets that day but I’ll never lose more than 10 points a day. Best advice is not to chase losses and only lose money you can afford to lose.

I have one bet for this match that will be my sexy single for today and it stands up to statistical analysis. You wouldn’t call this a banker but I do think it has a good chance of coming in.
Firstly the possibility of BTTS is strong with 6 of Fiorentina’s last 7 home fixtures in the league finishing that way, of which Fiorentina won 3 with BTTS in all 3 and with 6 of their last 7 wins seeing BTTS it’s obvious that they have a habit of leaking goals lately.
Fiorentina have won 13 games in the league this season and 10 of those wins saw over 2.5 goals and I fancy that to become 14 after tonight.
Verona’s form as the loser in this market is quite good as well although they won’t be a pushover for the home side tonight.
Verona have lost 13 times this season though, with 9 of those games seeing BTTS which in itself is a pretty good stat.
When you also consider that they have scored in 9 out of their last 12 on the road (scoring 15 in those 9 games), it is obvious that BTTS has a very good chance here and the market has occurred in 4 of Verona’s last 5 away games. The only teams they couldn’t score against on the road in those 12 games were the divisions top 2 sides (Juventus and Lazio) and Empoli so the chances of them scoring against a leaky Fiorentina are quite high.
The last 3 fixtures between these 2 sides finished 2.1, 4.3, and 5.3 in favour of Fiorentina and I like the chances of a repeat tonight as well as Fiorentina to win and over 2.5 goals.
BTTS is a reasonable 8/11 but I fancy taking a chance on Fiorentina to win and BTTS @7/4 with stats, history and current form backing it up.

Word of caution with those with Kaiserslautern on their accas tonight, 1-1 at HT currently.

I feel your pain but I think it’s a bit harsh calling Stan James scums. Any bookie will restrict your account if they feel that you’re winning too much. It’s their way of protecting their business as they don’t have to accept bets from people if they dont want to.
