THERE were no junior tips last week because I couldn't get them posted from the States – so apologies for that.
It means in the bookies' challenge Paul Petrie of McBookie.com continues to lead on £286.91 to £10 stakes while William Hill's Owen is on £72.25. Here are Saturday's tips.
Owen writes: “Linlithgow let me down in the Daily Record but I'll forgive them if they can get the victory this week. Rose (6-5) are my first pick as they head to Musselburgh 3-2 down from the first leg and have it all to do but I reckon they can get the result and book their place in the Final.
“I'm sticking with another of my picks from last weekend in the Scottish and that's Auchinleck at 8-13. Despite being 3-1 up and now at home I reckon Talbot will make it a double over holders Hurlford with another win.
“To complete my treble I'm heading to the top of the table clash in the East Premier and I'm backing away side Tayport at 6-4 to get all three points as they visit St Andrews and put themselves in a great position for title glory.”

Paul writes: “There is a massive match in the East Premier League and I'm backing Tayport at 13-8 to come out on top against St Andrews. There is nothing between the teams and it is only home advantage that see Saints as favourites. That makes the away side some value.
“Next I am on Shettleston at 4-6 to beat Largs. The away side have a couple of games in hand and will want to make sure they keep in the promotion hunt. Largs are back in the relegation dogfight and I think they will struggle once more.
“Finally, I am on Dalkeith to beat North End at 8-15. The Dundee side have been on a terrible run of late although did get a confidence boosting win in the cup last week. However, Dalkeith should still be too strong here.”
