PAMMI (3.20) relished the extra stamina test when scoring by six lengths at Hamilton and a repeat performance is on the cards at Musselburgh. Jim Goldie’s filly incurs a 6lb penalty but 5lb claimer Andrew Breslin reduces that burden in a pretty ordinary handicap.
VIGEE LE BRAUN (3.50) should go off at bigger odds in the mile handicap. She was made an odds-on shot at Beverley following a six lengths romp at Ripon but had the misfortune to run into the bang in form Red Charmer. The handicapper raised Vigee Le Brun 9lb but David O’Meara has sensibly employed the services of 5lb apprentice Patrick Vaughan.
ONE BOY (4.55) fairly blitzed his rivals at Beverley earlier this week and Oakley Brown’s 7lb claim cancels out a 6lb penalty.
Tracy Waggott won the 7f handicap last year with Raselasad and PAPARAZZI (2.50) could make it a double, while stablemate ALFRED THE GREY (2.20) makes each-way appeal if all eight go to post.
Soft ground at Carlisle is ideal for INTENSE STYLE (4.10).
