THERE is a big draw bias over 1m 4f at Longchamp, especially when the track is riding good, so Enable has every chance of emulating last year’s success (when it was run at Chantilly) emerging from stall six.
Impressive Yorkshire Oaks winner Sea Of Class was my initial selection but stall 15 is a negative, so I’ll be playing instead closer to home over the jumps.
STRONG TEAM (2.50) is going from strength-to-strength and is fancied to reverse Sedgefield form with Chookie Royale on Kelso’s Sunday card. Chris Grant’s five-year-old couldn’t quite reel in enterprisingly-ridden Chookie at the end of August but has since gone on to score with a bit in hand at Hexham. Chookie has been a magnificent servant to his connections and he should ensure a strong gallop along with top weight Man Look, another front-runner.
McCain keeps faith with 7lb conditional rider Harrison Beswick, who was on board NOAH AND THE ARK (3.25) when they mopped up a similar contest at Stratford on quick ground. That looked a stronger event than this novices’ hurdle.
SIMPLY NED (4.25) can make his annual pilgrimage to Kelso a winning one. Nicky Richards traditionally kicks off Simply Ned’s season in this event, boasting two wins and two seconds from four starts.
Both defeats came on his most recent visits, once from Theflyingportrait and last year at the hands of Forest Bihan. Simply Ned was subsequently awarded a Grade 1 prize in the stewards’ room at Leopardstown after a ding-dong battle with Min and may prove a shade too classy for recent dual Stratford winner Vosne Romanee.
JACK LAMB (5.25) shouldn’t be far away in the concluding 2m 4f handicap hurdle. A Sedgefield winner on quick ground, Jack Lamb ran into a smart performer in Tom Lacey’s Vivant when only fourth at Hexham last time.

Im guessing your new to horse betting if you think 4/5 is a good price in a 10 runner horse race. Especially betting in a foreign country, unless your french?

I didnt hear what was said but he mustve been very enthusiastic about Andor and all Recoa implied was that even at a very skinny price, given the interview he saw, it is still worth going with. Work on your interpretting skills my friend. Luckily.uncle pom knew best however.

Was EV’s a bad price for Enable then in a foreign country in a race with double that amount in it? It lost anyway but 4/5 didn’t look bad in my eyes after Freddie’s interview…each to there own though eh.

Everything has fallen into place for ENABLE with her market rivals all drawn high so very hard to see anything but an Enable win in the Arc.

Stick to a point system mate. Making money over a long period of time, is better than loosing all of it in a day.

Knew it came with a risk as its not been right last few races but it is a class horse,it was only in a Trixie which landed 2/3 anyway. Had to go with what I thought in tough race.
If a horse comes with a risk as you say dont take 11-10 on them! You should be looking at double figured odds. Betting short priced favs will never make you a long term profit.
A bookmakers dream customer is someone who never looks beond the first 2 in the betting. People beed to smsrten up i hate seeing bookies taking money of punters.
Battaash was back in because of the track. It was 6/4 when I tipped it up with 1pt on.
Start of the sprint season battaash looked like the top 5f sprinter.
Watching her action Indicated she is an all out speed horse that has to have a flat track.
It’s easy for horses to loose their way especially sprinters. That why many top class 5f sprinters only last a few or even 1 year.
As for odds tipping up 1/1 or odds on horses, I don’t see the problem with. There’s alway value in everything it’s just what your willing to bet over your knowledge of the horse and other horses in the race. If all favs won we’d all be millionaires.
