THE £10 to £100 challenges and others have proved popular here and on the main site.
As part of our March Madness Giveaway I decided to take on Gold and Silver members with real cash at stake.
No one reached the target so I let members play against each other for the chance to win and two have made it to the magic mark – jstuhhs and stewartbiddle.
Stewart tipped Basel to win on Wednesday to go through the £100 barrier while jstuhhs fell at the final hurdle.
So Stewart won £100 but in the spirit of the game went double or quits on Sevilla to win for £200 so ends up with nothing. However, if he emails me at mrfixit@dailyrecord.co.uk I'll fix him up with a free bet.
This contest has been self-policing and I want to thank everyone for the updates. I'm up to host another challenge for members if anyone has any ideas. But it can't be too time consuming and may have to be self-policing once again.
