Win £1,000 in 12 Plays of Christmas: Day 8

A GOAL just 5 minutes from time by Maurice Dale kept the hopes of several members alive in my 12 Days of Christmas competition as he bagged the only goal of the game for Nancy.

But a dramatic finish in Rome put paid to a handful of others who had backed Lazio to win. They looked like they done enough until Sampdoria's 93rd minute equalizer meant the game finished level.

Day 7 Round-Up

First let's start off with a massive well done to @goliath who called a draw between A Bielefeld and FC St. Pauli at 2/1. It was a huge call at this stage in the competition but the match finished goalless and it won him Day 7's Daily prize of a £40 free bet at Skybet. Samp's late goal means @duraden will need to play his Second Chance card today to stay in the competition, meaning just four members now have a perfect record; @greaves, @hellobad, @sean567 and @andrewklcc.

Day 7's late late shows proved there's no easy pickings in this competition despite what the odds suggest. On Day 8 there's are 2/5, 4/7 and 8/13 shots to choose from. Make sure you pick the right one!
