THERE is a good day of racing in store across the country including a nice card at Ascot where I fancy two Ian Williams runners to go very well.
The first is the old timer SHADY McCOY (4.20pm Ascot) who despite being in his eighth year is running better than ever and has gone close several times including over this course and distance at the Shergar Cup and in the Bunbury Cup earlier in the summer. This could be a nice bit of placing by Ian Williams and with Ryan Moore in the saddle everything is set up for a winning run.
The second Ian Williams prospect on the card is BOY IN THE BAR (4.55pm Ascot) who catches the eye with James Doyle booked to ride. The horse is running off the same mark as he had when winning this race two years ago and his 3rd place at Goodwood signalled a return to form just at the right time. He looks set for a big run today.
It’s not often I will advise bets on multiples but given the way the Ian Williams stable can target their horses I am tempted to suggest a small double on these two both to win today as well as the singles.

Well in ALANM, went for a bunch of losing dirty trebles and you got me back on track.
400 is my biggest single ever drogers, and i barely evwn flinched when it came in… it is scary, I am envious of those who do this for sinple enjoyment. Anyway I wouldve still been up 500 since last saturday had it lost so took the risk, the thing is £400 was more than 20% of my total cash lol. 20 is still a fair size bet to me, yet since being up i am finding it hard 2 be satisfied and the urge to go for more and more is strong despite this being my best ever profit, whilst that sickening feeling of losing everything is never too far i will try my best to avoid it for as long as i can… may need yo be less loose on the old 50£ trebles though.
