WE’RE making big changes to the site next month and in the run-up to that we’ve made the first of what we hope will be many new signings.
So we’d like to welcome on board the one and only Greg Browning who has been a regular and popular contributor to the site over the past few years.
Greg will be known to many as a St Johnstone fan who was one of the hardy few who travelled to Armenia this season but more importantly his tips are as red-hot as Perth hitman Graham Cummins.
The Saint, as we’d like to call him, has a tremendous hit record and posts in a modest style that resonates with many. He always lets the tips do the talking and backs them up with sound reasoning. I’m delighted he’s joined us on what should be an exciting journey this season.
Like a lot of us Greg’s time is at a premium – he is after all helping to raise twin girls – and so far this season he’s been concentrating on what he knows close to home – and that’s Scottish football.
Now and again he will venture further afield, especially when old favourites Parnu are playing or Newcastle are at home, but the bulk of his selections will be from the Scottish card although today he’s on the English leagues.
Until the site additions are made myself or Scott Allott will post Greg’s tips when we see them commented in the same way we do with Johnb’s racing.
Greg is under no pressure to be up any more tips than he’s doing just now and there certainly won’t be daily selections.
Remember he’s helping us all try to beat the bookies and only posting what he believes will happen going by stats, form an team news. He can’t guarantee winners but his record speaks for itself.
Greg had a good start to his thread with two odds-against winners from three tips on Tuesday and has one selection for Wednesday:
Wolves v QPR
It’s been a solid start for Kenny Jackett’s men, a 2-1 win at Blackburn, one of the few Championship sides who did progress in the cup – followed up with a 1-1 draw against Hull! They welcome another relegated side who are trying to find their feet! They let a 2-goal lead slip last weekend but it was no surprise to see Austin on the scoresheet! Retaining him is a massive plus for the Loftus road side! Both these teams are scoring and conceding and with Dicko and Austin involved, BTTS is likely!
