GregBrowning

WE’RE making big changes to the site next month and in the run-up to that we’ve made the first of what we hope will be many new signings.

So we’d like to welcome on board the one and only Greg Browning who has been a regular and popular contributor to the site over the past few years.

Greg will be known to many as a St Johnstone fan who was one of the hardy few who travelled to Armenia this season but more importantly his tips are as red-hot as Perth hitman Graham Cummins.

The Saint, as we’d like to call him, has a tremendous hit record and posts in a modest style that resonates with many. He always lets the tips do the talking and backs them up with sound reasoning. I’m delighted he’s joined us on what should be an exciting journey this season.

Like a lot of us Greg’s time is at a premium – he is after all helping to raise twin girls – and so far this season he’s been concentrating on what he knows close to home – and that’s Scottish football.

Now and again he will venture further afield, especially when old favourites Parnu are playing or Newcastle are at home, but the bulk of his selections will be from the Scottish card although today he’s on the English leagues.

Until the site additions are made myself or Scott Allott will post Greg’s tips when we see them commented in the same way we do with Johnb’s racing.

Greg is under no pressure to be up any more tips than he’s doing just now and there certainly won’t be daily selections.

Remember he’s helping us all try to beat the bookies and only posting what he believes will happen going by stats, form an team news. He can’t guarantee winners but his record speaks for itself.

Greg had a good start to his thread with two odds-against winners from three tips on Tuesday and has one selection for Wednesday:

Wolves v QPR

It’s been a solid start for Kenny Jackett’s men, a 2-1 win at Blackburn, one of the few  Championship sides who did progress in the cup – followed up with a 1-1 draw against Hull! They welcome another relegated side who are trying to find their feet! They let a 2-goal lead slip last weekend but it was no surprise to see Austin on the scoresheet! Retaining him is a massive plus for the Loftus road side! Both these teams are scoring and conceding and with Dicko and Austin involved, BTTS is likely!

Back over 2.5 match goals at 21-20

Whats your thoughts on Over 2.5 TMG in the Petrofac Challenge Cup tie between Forfar v Dunfermline ?
The Pars have been scoring for fun but on the other hand Forfar have been solid in defence and aint leaking much goals.
Anyone know if they will both be at full strength tonight. Tried club websites but not much to go on.
Itching to go big on this but would like team news first.

  38. Maobi 2 years ago

I’m really excited about Mr.F’s new signing in Greg Browning. Excellent tipster whose humility leaves me in awe.
So sad we don’t have legend Raal here anymore.
So grateful to Mr.F for making all these happen!! #camaraderie

Gents, a massive thank for all of the messages, I’m extremely humbled! Looking forward to being be a part of all the great work Mr F and Admin have done, and will be doing moving forward!

As I said a couple days a go, in the three years I’ve been posting I’ve not known the site to have the number of knowledgeable profitable posters that it does at the moment

Not every tip I put up will be a winner but I’ll continue to to do my best to put up more winners than losers

    Thanks again

  47. Greg Browning 2 years ago

Stubhoy, this will be Dunfermlineshire biggest test of the season so far and it’s hard to oppose goals here given How the Pars have started! My only worry is Forfar are decent at home and it’s a challenge cup match!

  48. John 2 years ago

Great to see Raal back, hope everything is ok with you, been through a bit of a rough time myself lately so good to see the Hearts crest back on a fantastic site….UP THE JAMBOS (Spurs first though) :-)

Good stuff mate, we were both one out by one and Pompey played a part in both. I have just been reading the reports, Crawley Keeper made several good saves, including a one on one from Matt Tubbs in the first half which denied me a full house.

Oops wrong thread. Sorry St Greg :)

  81. Stubhoy 2 years ago

Greg Decided to take the risk and go Over on Forfar v Dunfermline last night but PHEW !! It was close and i think the sending off for Forfar in 1st half contributed a lot.
Also scored one over our arch rival (Mr Bookie) by having a decent bet on Middlesboro WIN @ 7/5. With 17 mins left they were offering me just over double my £50 stake and i duly obliged and hit the cash out button. As you know Johnny Russell hit an equalizer for Derby with 2 mins left so i was grinning from ear to ear as thats how it finished. Good luck today all.
