IT was a great day for goals yesterday but sadly I was a goal short on my lines.
The biggest disappointment was seeing 11 out of the 12 league two matches go over 2.5 goals (I had £1 on it at 3400-1).
Motherwell v Rangers (1.30pm)
I've been impressed with Motherwell in terms of signings and their Betfred Cup results. They still have Louis Moult and will cause Rangers problems today. Far too early to gauge how Ramgers will do after multiple signings but signs are promising after a morale-boosting 2-0 friendly win at Sheffield Wednesday last wee.! I can see both sides netting and that should lead us to goals.
Following Rangers last season away from home on the corner market proved to be extremely profitable – Rangers know they need to start the season well and I expect them to have the hosts under pressure from the off.
