THERE weren’t as many Super Single winners as last week but 24 was still a decent number.

Punters put up a huge variety of bets with the most popular side, Crystal Palace, being backed at 5-4 by four people – Ryan Brown, Joe Falkner, Georgi Stefanov Gogov and John Henderson.

The biggest win came from David Walsh who tipped Leigh Griffiths at 5-1 to score first for Hibs while Ian Conway took him to net at 11-8. Tom Carrie tipped Hibs at 8-5 to beat Dundee United.

Aussie-based Danny put up a 2.3 winner thanks to Swedes Halmstad and also rightly cast doubt over Slider’s choice of Western Sydney at 9-5.

On-form Niall McGinn was picked to score at 6-4 by Austin Hay and his Aberdeen side were backed at 13-10 by Fin H and Graham Mitchell.

AC did well to choose draw at Arsenal at 16-5 and Daryl Cruickshank was on West Brom at
21-10 away to Wigan.

There were some quite clever bets that some might not think of, for example, Bayern at 1-1 with Jonathan Grieve to win both halves and Andy F on Reading-Norwich HT draw at 5-4.

Chico Lemu went on Cardiff to score two or more at 1-1 and Limk Kok Hun and Justin Lo tipped the second half to be highest scoring at Man City at 1-1.

And finally on the assumption Celtic would tire Robert Miller was spot on to take St Johnstone plus two at 21-20.

I can’t mention everyone but well done to the 24 and three of you will be picked at random to win one of three £10 bets from bet365.

That’s sometimes quite a good bet, rather than takin the favourite minus a goal, giving the high priced team a goal or two of a start. I done it the last couple of weeks the champions league was on with ajax and cluj. It was just a pity the the ones I doubled them up with let me down!!

Hi Paul think you will find more than 3 people tipped Crystal Palace last week in super single contest.

John, I make it four including you. Sorry if I left you out the write-up but I can add you in. Everyone isn’t mentioned but all winners are in the lucky draw to win the prizes.
