REMEMBER Terry Gibson? Well, we've signed him and while he won't be kicking a football he'll be looking into his crystal ball and bringing us his best Spanish tips every week.

The ex-Spurs, Coventry and Manchester United striker is probably best remembered for his time as part of the infamous Wimbledon Crazy Gang side of the late 80s and early 90s. Now an expert in all things La Liga he works as a pundit and co-commentator on Sky Sports’ Spanish football coverage and is a contributor to unibet.

Here are Terry's tips for Saturday's matches at the Bernabeu and Mestalla.

Real Madrid v Sevilla (Sat 3.15pm)

Real’s failure last week to close the gap on Barca means that once again they are under pressure in this game. It was a real chance missed last week with Barcelona surprisingly drawing at home to Celta Vigo.

Athletic Bilbao certainly isn’t an easy game but I expected them to be able to beat a team that only have three wins so far this season.

Sevilla will be dangerous opponents and they are currently in a good run of form. There’s been nothing spectacular from Berrizo’s team but they are hard to beat and getting the job done in terms of results.

Madrid have won the last 10 in all comps in the Bernabeu against Sevilla and Ronaldo is facing his favourite team having scored just the 25 against them in his time at Real, including five hat-tricks.

Those signs are good indeed for the home team but they will be without some key players in this fixture due to suspension. Dani Carvajal and Casemiro miss out due to accumulations of yellow cards and Sergio Ramos misses out after his record-breaking sending off in last week’s game at San Mames.

It’s still a mystery as to when Gareth Bale is going to be back but on the evidence of recent games the sooner the better for Zidane.

Ashraf Hakimi, Kovacic and Nacho are the likely replacements and that will certainly give Sevilla an opportunity to take something in this game.

There hasn’t been a draw in the last 24 La Liga meetings between the two teams but that’s what I’m going for in this one.

Terry's Tips

Valencia v Celta Vigo (Sat 7.45pm)

Valencia also failed to take advantage of Barcelona’s slip-up last week and it is now their turn to take on the same opponents.

Celta are certainly on the up and former Barcelona coach Juan Carlos Unzue is slowly constructing a decent outfit. He is certainly helped in the fact he has two strikers who know where the back of the net is in Iago Aspas and Maxi Gomez who both scored at the Nou Camp last week.

They are playing together as a pair instead of Aspas out wide where he started the season and their new partnership is thriving with Aspas netting eight and Gomez seven.

In my opinion Valencia haven’t been at their fluent best since week nine when they beat Sevilla 4-0 at the Mestalla. In recent games they were fortunate to beat Espanyol, only really attacked the second half against Barcelona and then we saw them get beaten for the first time this season last week away at Getafe who played with 10 men from the 25th minute.

Gonçalo Guedes is absent through injury and that is appearing to be a big blow for Marcelino’s team, understandably so. With Simone Zaza struggling to play through with a knee injury it does appear to me that Valencia need some reinforcements in the transfer window to supplement their starting line-up in order to maintain a challenge for the title and a top-four position.

It is probably a position they didn’t expect to be in but hopefully they believe in the possibilities and the club back the coach with a couple of decent acquisitions in January. I’m actually going to back the away team here and go for the surprise Celta victory.

Celta will take belief from last week’s result and performance and I’m going to predict an away 2-1 victory with Aspas getting the first goal.

Terry's Tips

  • Valencia 1, Celta 2 (12-1, Unibet)
  • Aspas to score first (15-2, Unibet)
  • Both teams to score (11-20, Unibet)
