JUDD TRUMP is on course to win the World Snooker Championship after carving out a three-frame lead over John Higgins.

The 21-year-old Englishman leads 10-7 going into day two and is now 8-13 favourite with tournament sponsors Betfred.

Higgins, who started the match as favourite, is out to 6-4 with the likes of Coral, bet365 and Chandler.

I tipped the Scot at 11-2 pre-tournament but advised some savers on Trump on the handicap betting and highest break in the final as he's been the standout player of the tournament and a breath of fresh air for the sport.

Trump has stayed true to his word by attacking everything and unless Higgins brings his very best game to The Crucible on Monday he will lose heavily.

Consider 18-12 Trump at 11-1 with Chandler and 18-13 Trump at 9-1 with the same firm.

Recommendation

Trump to win

(8-13, Betfred)

Took Robertson to retain it at the outset and having watched Trump’s display against him decided to back the bold Judd as i couldn’t see an obvious favourite….got 12/1 and have taken 18-12 @ 20/1…wish me luck
