OVER 2.5 goals at Fulham gave Greg another nap success on Tuesday and he’s got one tip for Wednesday.

The game he’s looking at is at Old Trafford and he’s hoping for some home goals.

Man United v Wolfsburg (7.45pm)

Louis van Gaal’s side have finally managed to find a bit of consistency and will be a popular bet with punters tonight. Looked at the straight United win but going to side with the better-priced market of Man Utd to score 2.

Nothing fancy about it and no need for a long write-up. It’s the bet I like most today.

Back Man Utd over 1.5 team goals 4-5 (Bet365) (NAP)

Will continue to try and post naps as close to evens as I can and won’t go shorter than 4-5.

Now we are into the season the bookies have cottoned on to where the goals are so there are plenty of 4-6 bets especially when it comes to over 2.5 or both to score.

I might start posting these in a double as I appreciate 4-6 is too short for some (perfect example was Peterborough v Bury last night for btts 4-6). The key will be identifying matches 2-3 days in advance to get the early price.

Greg, can you please post and the games that you see them coming btts or over2.5 but they are shorter than 4-5?

  2. jim 3 years ago

Greg, please don’t feel like you have to put up bets with higher odds. Just make a NAP that you feel is right. If it is only 4/6 then so be it. It is more important you get it right than maybe get it right with higher odds. I try and do your NAP with higher stakes everyday. Over the course, I know it works.

  3. HullShaker 3 years ago

Cheers Greg, will have a pop at that and also going for over 3.5 match goals…good luck pal.

  4. Recoba 3 years ago

Astana v Galatasary over 2.5 MGs EVENS

Yilmaz is out for Galatasary but still think EVENS is big price.
Taking it as a single and in a long shot Acca so do hopefully early K.O gets it up and running

  5. Sean567 3 years ago

Agree with jim. I’d rather see everyone have a 4/6 winner than an 11/10 loser

  6. NormanStanleyFletcher 3 years ago

Short odds winner better than longer odds loser
More than happy taking a 4/6 don’t feel obliged to just post bigger odds

  7. craigyboy 3 years ago

Greg what’s your thoughts on Norwich v Leicester over 2.5 at 10/11 currently?

Can’t help but think this fixture will see goals.

  8. trevor 3 years ago

I am quite happy to back a 4/6 winner every day

  9. Greg Browning 3 years ago

Jim, Sean, Norman, cheers won’t be deterred by price

4/6 is an acceptable lower limit and as The season progresses I’ll likely be posting 4/6 NAPs –

  10. Denavide 3 years ago

Was even on JablonecU19 vs Sparta Prague U19 over 2.5 mg today…it pays 1/3 in one of our bookies here in Nigeria and I’m satisfy with it. I prefer small odd winning than targeting big odd winning which has higher probability of going the wrong way.

  11. Greg Browning 3 years ago

Craigyboy, could be a nap contender mate :)

  12. monkey man 3 years ago

Greg to a points staking plan wot pts do u class as a nap ?

  13. Pablpower 3 years ago

Jim is richt, you’re a good tipster don’t fell you have to search for better odds… Also for anyone that’s not happy can follow and try get better price inplay…

    Keep up good work

  14. Greg Browning 3 years ago

If you bet 10 points a day for example and on three bets

    NAP – 6 points
    Bet 2 – 2 points
    Bet 3 – 2 points

  15. tipper 3 years ago

greg a winer is a winer what ever the price as long as u make a prophet small or large i will take a 4/6 eny day of the week of you keep up the good work u could post your other bets seperate thanks mate

  16. Sean Ireland 3 years ago

Agree on the chances of United scoring over 1.5 but prefer the odds on them getting that target and winning @ 11/10 paddypower which they have achieved in 4 of last 5 homes and have won 8 of last 10 homes.

TheBoss, another fine tip by Greg.
I need Sevilla to score for my goals treble but no way of covering.
But if Frosinone can score at Juventus there is still hope.

Top stuff matey, the way i see it is profit is profit. As long as your winning more than you losing! No complaints from here!

    Thanks again

  36. Greg Browning 3 years ago

Rory, it’s been extreamlylikely close on a couple of occasions

Best advice I can give is put £1 on all of them and a 10p 8 or 9 fold if there are lots of early goals you can cash the 8 fold in for a decent profit and let the £1 Hollywood line run

  37. Brian 3 years ago

Nice work Greg – super tips as always :)

  38. TheBoss 3 years ago

I needed one more goal in the Real Madrid game for all games over 1.5 and real game 2.5!

But again won a 7 fold goal accu again :)

  39. Cizza 3 years ago

Greg, I have to ask – what is/are the criteria you use for your selections? I don’t tend to do anything over a treble so would be good to get a little more insight, if possible…

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Cizza, I imagine Greg will mainly look at recent form and h2h. After that team news is important and then there’s a lot of gut feeling involved.
Add to that a little bit of luck in picking the correct one from what is likely to be a shortlist.

  40. HullShaker 3 years ago

Great stuff Greg – another goal in the Utd game would’ve suited me right down to the ground.

  41. Greg Browning 3 years ago

Cizza, I look at each teams overall record ( how many matches have gone over 2.5 goals, how many had BTTS, how many goals they acore and concede, then look to see how they perform at home ( if they are the home team and away if they are the away team) short term form of 6 matches, who they’ve played during that time and head to head as a last view but not a deal breaker if the form adds up!

On the flip side stats aren’t always important , you need to take into account the importance of the match, team news etc

  42. Greg Browning 3 years ago

The boss, goals are where the are heart is :)

  43. Traffman 3 years ago

    Cheers Greg. Legend.

  44. Cizza 3 years ago

Sounds silly but I don’t tend to take too much from h2h records unless the teams are largely similar with the same managers. Arsenal v Chelsea being the prime example…

I tend to consider recent from over all else and will often look at times of the teams goals as another indicator.

Thanks for the response Mr F and Greg. It’s helpful seeing insights from other enthusiasts.

I see a lot of people asking about stakes and how much to stake on games. Generally I stick to around 5% of my bank roll unless I’m feeling overly strong about the bet (whilst never betting any amount which is uncomfortable). What are you guys generally staking for your recommendations if that’s OK to disclose?

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Cizza, I prefer form to h2h but the latter can’t be ignored because sometimes there are trends which go on and on.
We don’t disclose stakes because they are different for everyone.
I’ve had stick from other tipsters for saying stakes shouldn’t be revealed but I stand by that.
Points display confidence in a bet but you should stake what you can afford to lose not what myself or Greg or Joe Bloggs can afford to lose.

  45. Cizza 3 years ago

A shade over evens for tomorrow

Not great value but looking at the stats it seems a reliable bet – dare I say it

  46. Rowen 3 years ago

Mr F, sorry but completely disagree with your thesis that form and h2h are of greater importance than team news. For over a year I have been basing the vast majority of my bread and butter bets on team news in low liquidity leagues and have enjoyed some very significant profit. Having extra information about team news that bookies have not reacted to yet is a massive overround and that should be the goal of every investor. Form and h2h are nice, but what are they worth if a team rotates sending in 11 reserve players? Sports betting is an investment like every other (if done correctly) and information is the strongest decision making factor in this field.

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Rowen, I didn’t say team news wasn’t as important. I said I prefer form to h2h but I always try to seek out team news.
I’m always banging on about it especially on nights like tonight when many managers will put out weakened sides.
Right, been on here too long – time to walk the dug.

When did Gregs tips go up? I was looking earlier & no joy!

Mr F – Dam unlucky on the treble – I thought we might’ve had it, but, Seville just let us down (me for 3 figures) – Ho hum – no criticism from me Sir!

      Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Al, Greg commented about 2.30pm and I posted them about 3.15pm.
I thought Sevilla would score but that’s the way it goes.

  48. Rowen 3 years ago

And great tipping Greg, one of the most consistent stat based tipsters I’ve seen 😉

  50. Duncan Poundcake 3 years ago

Over 2.5 mg in all 8 champions league games ,2 goals short, no a bad 100/1ish shot ,should be worth another £1 next time GL.

  51. Renwick 3 years ago

    Good tipping Greg mate
