IT’S been a quiet week for me on the challenges and everything else.
There’s a big card on Saturday – not an easy one – but I’ve picked out the teams I fancy.
In Scotland there are no league games on World Cup weekend so we’re left with the IRN-BRU Cup third-round matches. As it’s a Saturday most sides will play full-strength or almost full-strength sides.
The experiment in allowing Premiership sides to include Under-20 teams for the first time has failed with Celtic the only survivors.
They have beaten League Two sides Annan at home and Cowdenbeath away and now face League One Livingston on the road live at tea-time.
It will be Celtic’s toughest test and if they can’t win it they should at least be able to score and remember they conceded against Annan and at Cowdenbeath.
So my new £20 to £250 challenge starts with both teams to score at Livingston.
Livingston v Celtic U-20s both to score (5.30pm)
