DESMOND didn't manage a winner at the weekend as I originally said – I thought he'd backed Ipswich but he's pointed out it was Wigan he went for so both his picks netted just once.
My apologies and let's hope he can land the double on Tuesday. Here are his latest selections.
Desmond says: Gents, my two picks this midweek are free-scoring form side Colchester and a Portsmouth outfit sitting top of League Two.
Colchester are scoring for fun with 10 in their last four and welcome a Bradford side with no clean sheet in their last four (six conceded). The home men look great value at 5-4 with Skybet.
Next up are a Portsmouth side one point clear at the top of League Two. Pompey entertain an Exeter outfit who have shipped six goals in their last two matches. After two tough away matches (one win and one draw and scoring three) they've stayed top and undefeated and are 5-6 at Skybet to score 2+.
