GREG picked a nice nap on Friday with over 2.5 goals at Dinamo Zagreb and Telstar at evens.

There is so much to pick from this weekend but here’s what he has come up with.

Annan Athletic v Elgin (3pm)

The top two clash at Galabank in what should be an entertaining affair. Been impressed by both clubs this season and have been keeping tabs on Elgin as they are managed by family friend Jim Weir.

It’s a 400-plus miles round trip for Elgin but I don’t tend to look too much into that as a number of their players are based further south.

In saying that Elgin have struggled on the road this season. They’ve lost their last three (East Fife 2-1, Montrose 2-0, Queen’s Park 3-1) and this is tougher.

With Annan picking up 7 points from 9 I can see Elgin conceding another few today! Annan have scored at least two goals in their last 4 matches but what stands out is their scoring record against Elgin (5,3,0,3,2,3,3,2,1,2,2,2).

Elgin haven’t been short of goals either this season especially with Craig Gunn firing on all cylinders. Goals should be on the cards here with the home side netting at least twice.

Back Annan over 1.5 Team goals 4-5 (Coral) (NAP)

Leicester v Arsenal (3pm)

The hosts have been the surprise package this season, just feel this will be a step to far for the Tinkerman’s side. They’ve yet keep a clean sheet this season and have shipped two goals against some average opposition (Sunderland, Villa and Stoke).

Arsenal received a much-needed boost during the week defeating London rivals Tottenham and I expect them to travel north today and bag three points.

Back Arsenal 17-20 (BetVictor)

I’vve already mentioned the Annan game – Ayr are flying at the moment, they’ve scored 2 or more in all but one of their home matches this season (Rangers) and welcome Peterhead who boast goal machine Rory McAllister but can’t defend. Lowly Brechin scored 3 last week against them and Cowdenbeath 2 the week before.

Barry Ferguson’s Clyde are starting to find their feet and score goals, Berwick aren’t great travellers and concede heavily away. Can be used as a double but going to post as a treble.

Ayr v Peterhead 4-7
Clyde v Berwick 8-13
Annan Athletic v Elgin 1-2

Back over 2.5 goals treble (12-5, Bet365) (NB)

    Ayr v Pererhead 4/7
    Clyde v Berwick 8/13
    Annan Athletic v Elgin 1/2

Have ready mentiond the Annan game – Ayr are flying at the moment, they’ve scored 2 or more in all but one of their home matxhes this season ( Rangers ) and welcome Pererhead who boast goal machine Rory Mcallister but can’t defend, lowly Brechin scores 3 last week against then and Cowdenbeath 2 the week before! Barry Fergusons side are starting to find their feet and score goals, Berwick aren’t great travellers and concded heavily away!

Can be used as a double but going to post as a treble

Back over 2.5 goals treble 12/5 (Bet365) (NB)

  17. Greg Browning 1 year ago

By my Standards Tommy it has been but you’ll struggle to find many people who have had a good week this week!

Probably the poorest week I can remember

A goal short again, looking back its been the story of the week! That’s the way it goes sometimes

  18. T888 1 year ago

It’s just a blip Greg , got to look at it long term :-)

  19. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Leicester v Arsenal over 2.5 goals was going to be the NAP but it was only 4/6 so didn’t want to post a 4/6 – NAP as I know l a lot of people are looking for around evens

That’s some stat Jim- cheers for that, going in the book :)

Disappointed with the NAP, Delighted with The Saints and managed an SPL overs and an English premiershio overs for loose chane ( pending Chelsea)

  22. tommy 1 year ago

last bet of the night for me over 3.5 goals @ 4.00 on betvictor great odds considering the last 2 meetings between these teams seen over 3 so for me i cant refuse these odds too big to not take, the way napoli ripped apart brugge and lazio also the last 6 napoli home games have ended in over 3.5 thats including friendlys tho, so for me Over 3.5 goals in napoli v juventus @ 4.00, good luck gents over and out

  23. Ryan Allan 1 year ago
