I DIDN'T manage to put up any Friday tips after the site went down. I had a Super Single picked out (only Greg knows what it was) and ironically it was an 11-8 winner.
It won't be added to the stats of course and it was good to see Greg bouncing back to form with an even-money nap thanks to over 2.5 goals at Zagreb and Telstar.
Last Saturday the card was extremely tough and it looks a bit better this weekend. I came close to the Holy Grail of four draws with one Aston Villa goal at home to West Brom all I needed for a 136-1 winner.
But with trebles advised the stalemates at Hull, Peterborough and Dundee United paid 45-1 and it would be nice to match that today.
My Super Single won thanks to Bury and this weekend and I'm on Ross County at Dundee with reasoning on the Scottish preview post. Unfortunately an early price of 9-4 has gone and best available is 15-8 with Ladbrokes.
I've also added a 5pts Super Single and while that takes me over the daily limit I didn't manage to advise any bets on Friday. Also I've only been looking at the William Hill Scottish Cup first-round matches which feature junior as well as Highland League and Lowland League.
Auchinleck are one of the best if not the best junior sides in the land and should easily brush aside the challenge of BSC Glasgow who sit near the foot of the Lowland League table. The match is being played at Lochburn Park, the home of Maryhill Juniors in Glasgow, and gates will be shut after 560 fans are inside – so if you're going get there early.
I've backed this at 6-4 with Paddy Power and as I write the only other bookie I can see offering it is 888sport who go 13-10.
There are a lot of mismatches in the tournament today and I've put up a fivefold paying just over 5-1 starting with Auchinleck and adding East junior giants Linlithgow at Gala Fairydean, Formartine v Gretna, Cove at Banks o'Dee and Huntly at Hawick.
Here are my tips from today's Daily Record – plus btts and win and first scorers – and remember to do the Long Shots for low stakes. Some people are critical of the amount of Saturday selections I put up and I can see where they're coming from.

Orlando have been without key players during their recent slump in form firstly Larin and then Kaka.
This is the first game they’ve been back at full strength.

I narrowed down my Super Single shortlist down to 3 again, I am taking Stoke to win. They are winless this season and four points behind Bournemouth. Stoke are a decent side especially at home, They had 10 wins at home last season. Diouf could be out but I tipped Crouch in midweek to score and he did, and star man Bojan scored last week. I fancy Stoke at 31/20 Bet365
Bournemouth conceded 3 at Norwich in their last away game and I can see Stoke scoring O1.5g against Bournemouth. They scored two at Spurs and were 2 nil up early against Leicester, if this happens today then you got an easy cover on the super single. Stoke O1.5g is 7/5 William Hill.
In the goal scorer market, I do like Diafra Sakho at West Ham, they have been superb away from home and will be on the front foot, in front of their own fans. West Ham have scored 6 goals in 3 games at home, Sakho hasn’t scored at home in the league but scored 2 in his only appearance in Europe. He is 8/5 Stan James.
My second selection is Graziano Pelle, who I have put up before this season. I have said previously last season he started the season well. Southampton have scored at least two goals in six of their last seven home games in the league. Pelle has scored 4 goals this season, he as scored 14 of his 16 PL goals at home. He is an injury doubt so CHECK team news, but if he starts he is 15/8 at Skybet. My advice is if you cant wait for team news bet with a bookie who void scorers if they don’t start.
My final selection is Lincolns Matthew Rhead a Torquay side who are in turmoil. Rhead is in fine form scoring 8 goals in 12 and faces a side who’s manager has left and have shipped 25 goals already this season. He was almost the super single at 11/10 Bet365.
There isn’t much value in getting involved in the Man Utd game against crisis club Sunderland. If you look when Sunderland concede weather its after 30mins or 60mins they always concede a second shortly after, so it is how quickly Man utd break them down. I am taking Man utd O2.5g 1/1 Coral. I like the Martial anytime wincast at 5/4 William Hill. As always team news needs checking.

On my usual scouting mission for games with goals but I’ve had my eye on this one since Monday and the success on Rosenborg 2. We travel back too the promised land for goals and its Norway Division 3 Group 10 for a game between the highest scorers and the worst defense. The league averages 4.97gls per game and that ranks it 2nd of 365 worldwide competitions on goals per game averages. I’m hoping the game doesn’t live up too the name of the home side here….

The top two clash at Galabank in what should be an entertaining affair! Been impressed by both clubs this season and have been keeping tabs on Elgin as they are managed by family friend Jim Weir! It’s a 400+ round trip for Elgin but I don’t tend to look too much into that as a number of their olayers are based further South! In saying that though Elgin have struggled on the road this season! They’ve lost their last three ( East Fife 2-1 Montrose 2-0 Queens Park 3-1)this is tougher and with Annan already picking up 7 points from 9 i can see Elgin conceding another few today! Annan have scored at least two goals in their last 4 matches but what stands out is their scoring record against Elgin (5,3,0,3,2,3,3,2,1,2,2,2) – Elgin haven’t been short of goals either this season especially with Gunn up to! Goals should be on the cards here with the home side netting at leat twice

Harpreet I think goal keepers getting booked for the most part is a result of time wasting so I guess you would have to identify a game where a underdog looks likely to grab a lead somewhere then hope the time wasting card comes about . It’s a very difficult thing to predict mate in my opinion

Danny just seen your post cheers mate. Spent so long weighing up the pros and cons of each it gave me a headache haha. Already got my 2 main singles done for today so will just take all 6 for a smaller stake. The 2 I was closest to cutting were Wrexham (after the 0-0 v grimsby) and welling (just because they’re being backed against, no idea why) but couldn’t bring myself to do it. Fancy Wrexham to bounce back strongly after a minor blip and their home record has been great. The h2h was against Wrexham for the Grimsby game which is why I didn’t touch it and ended 0-0 but the h2h for today is very promising and at home to Eastleigh who have just conceded 5 at home to a poor Dover team.
