Fremantle peaked too early and I can’t see anything but a Hawthorne win here. The reigning premiers bounced back in great style last week and although it’s always hard to go to Perth and get a win, they should do it easy enough but Fremantle wi keep it close bringing the 1-39 margin into play for better value than the straight win price.
As for the NRL game, this has low scoring grind written all over it. Both teams have the best baseline defense in the comp. Both have lightening attacks too, but being a sudden death knock-out final, this match will be won by the better defender. I see being a 16-12 score line or something similar by either side.

Pirates will want to win at least 2 from 3 in this series to try and maintain home field advantage for the wild card game, they need to get off to a good start and have rested players for this game.
Cardinals are 4 games ahead of Pirates in the title chase. They’ve got series against Brewers, PIRATES and Braves, in that order.
Cards started their series against the Brewers last night with a win. They need to keep that going as any losses are going to ramp up the pressure on that series against the Pirates. The only thing the Brewers have to play for is not finishing last, which they won’t as Phillies have a much harder run in.
Moving away from the hits market for the rest of the regular season, as September has been so inconsistent.

Not sure if anyone is still looking to bet on the Rugby since there seems to be a lot of unlucky selections by the looks of things so far.
Been trying to find value in the England v Wales game, England under 1.5 tries is currently at 5/4 on 365. If you look back on yesterday’s thread, you can see my logic behind this. But in short, England will try and run through the Welsh defense rather than play through it. And I would like to think that Wales are too well coached, too disciplined and too experienced to make too many mistakes to allow the England to score 2 tries. Maybe England will get one from a penalty, kicking to the corner, catching and driving over. But I just struggle to see how this England side has more than 2 tries in them with the way they are set up.

Afternoon Guys Super League’s 2 live games
The final round of matches in the Super 8s and 3 teams are vying for the league leaders shield. Sky have a helicopter on stand by to fly the trophy over to Wigan if they win it. If Wigan win and Leeds lose then the Warriors top the league. Leeds win and it is their, while the Giants need to beat Leeds and hope Cas do them a favour.
The bookies cant split the Giants and the Rhinos and it easy to see why. A month ago the Rhinos were six points clear at the top of the Super League table with just four Super 8s rounds remaining, their slump since winning the cup is alarming. Both meetings in the league have been close with Rhinos winning 28-24 and a 24-24 draw.
I fancy Huddersfield to win tonight. They have won 7 of their last 8, Brett Ferres returns and I think the Giants pack will dominate upfront and lay the platform for Brough and Gale. Paul Aition and Brett Delaney are out and Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow could play but the word is they are not fully fit. Leeds have looked out on their feet in second half of matches and a tough Yorkshire derby isn’t what they would want. I’m taking Huddersfield at evens Skybet.
In the try scorer market for Leeds any of their backline as I have mentioned in the past but for some value Kallum Watkins looks a good price at 5/4 Skybet. For the Giants you cant ignore the form of Jermaine McGilvary. He as scored in each of his last six straight games 12 in that stretch and scored in both meetings with Leeds this season. He is 10/11 Skybet. That looks a great bet.

Luke Kuechly will probably not start for the Panthers but defensive tackle Star Lotulelei is listed as probable.
