ACE VENTURER did it again on Sunday with two winners from three tips in the golf. Our man is on an incredible run after picking eight champions in the past 10 weeks.
He backed Joost Luiten as the man most likely to win the Wales Open at Celtic Manor and advised him 3pts ew at 14-1. Of his three other picks he also landed a place thanks to 50-1 Eddie Pepperell but Richie Ramsay who 17th and Simon Dyson a non-runner.
To pick two players finishing in the top four at the start of a tournament is impressive tipping and next up for Ace could be the Ryder Cup. It isn't of course your usual run-of-the-mill tournament so I don't know if he's putting up tips but there will be a thread for the Gleneagles event for anyone interested.
Johnb has been putting up good NFL tips so watch out for them and any other tips from the sports world.

Don’t know if you’ve had an invite before but I had the privilege of playing Loch Lomond GC yesterday, and had the best overall golfing experience ever. It was simply world class! Better than Carnoustie, Royal Dornoch, and Turnberry.
5 over par with 2 lost ball of the Medal tees made it even better.
Willie, I’ve had invites in the past but turned them down just because at the time I don’t think I was playing enough and having been to many Scottish Opens there you don’t want to tackle it rusty. Hopefully I’ll get a chance again. Best course I’ve played is Kingsbarns but so many good ones to choose from. Loved Irvine Bogside last week and Prestwick last year was superb. My pal is about to join North Berwick and move back up from London so will look forward to playing that again and also Gullane.

Makarovas serving in her first round match here was superb and she should have too much game in this form for her lesser opponent.
Simon’s opponent has won a lot of matches recently but all at a far lower than this. The big step up in quality should be too much of an ask.
Seppi’s opponent has played one match on hard court all year, plays 99% of his tennis on clay, and should find Seppi far too experienced and tough and opponent on this surface.

Evening Guys, Chicago Bears @ New York Jets
This game comes down to a team that like to run the ball in the Jets, taking on a side that cant defend the run in the bears. On the flip side Bears love to throw the ball and in Brandon Marshall they have one of the top WRs in the league, against a Jets secondary that isn’t very good and their top corner Dee Milliner is struggling with an injury but could still play tonight. I like the bears tonight, the handicap is minimal so I will take the bears straight up at 6/5 Stan James.
In the touchdown market, Chris Johnson was a big free agent acquisition, but CJ2K is a shell of the player he once was a few seasons ago. If anyone is going to take advantage of this poor Bears run defence then I will want my money on Chris Ivory, he has scored in both games this season and why the 49ers went away from Frank Gore last week after he rushed for a touchdown is beyond me. Ivory is a bigger back than Johnson, and down in the redzone I expect it will be Ivory number called. He 7/5 Ladbrokes.
For the Bears WR Brandon Marshall is an injury doubt for the game, but he was last week against the 49ers. He was basically playing on one leg last week yet still hauled in 3 touchdowns. I don’t expect him to be making big plays due to his injuries, but if the bears get short field positions like last week, there is every chance QB Jay Cutler goes after his favourite target in the endzone. The 11/10 at Coral is my super single of the game.
For the more adventurous William Hill special is 7/2 Marshall anytime wincast, so if you cant get odds against a bears win or Marshall isn’t 11/10 at the bookies you bet with, it is something to consider if your looking for a bet on the game.

I like Europe chances in the Ryder cup and it should be good, I like Ian Poulter or Martin Kaymar top European. Poulter is “Mr Ryder Cup” and his record is superb, he has experience so may partner a debutant. For USA I looking at Fowler or maybe Bubba Watson. I will hang on to see what Mr F and ACE tip. My only bets are Europe correct scores, will back Europe nearer the time see if any enhanced odds or specials available :)

Well the perfect start to the week had been followed by a nightmare today.
I’ll try and right the shop tomorrow, but till then, Kyrgios is close to falling to matosevic and I’m backing marinko to win the tournament a 27/1 in case. The top half could be blown wide open if nishikori is suffering a post us open hangover and on an a fast court matosevic has the weapons to take advantage.

Wednesday Tennis-
The two picks I feel safest making tomorrow are Bolelli d Seppi and Matosevic d Soeda, and that double pays 2.34 with Betfred. Look out for start times, may be as early as 6am for the Bolelli match.
For a bit more interest, and for anyone with this market available I also like Muller to win a set v Gasquet, and after much deliberating have decided to pair that with Bacsinszky to win a set v Sharapova. Double pays 3/1.
I also feel obliged to have a little go on Sharapova to lose the first set and win the match v Bacsinszky @ 11/2 / Maria to win 2-1 @ 7/2.
It’s not an incredibly appealing card so keeping things sensible today. The double of Seppi/Matosevic will be my main bet, the rest I’m doing for small stakes.

If you can get 5/2 or better in play on Bacsinszky v sharapova then take it. She is holding far more the easily of that too and more than holding her own.
I’ve just backed Bacsinszky @ 50/1 to win the tournament. if she can get over the like v Sharapova that will be a great price. A top class all round performance so far
The odds will keep falling if she does win today but if you can get around 25/1 + for that I would advise taking it.
