READING saved my night after St Etienne threatened to wreck it.
A last-minute winner from Reading brought up the Super Single while PSG conceding in injury time beat the Top Treble.
And VVV's failure to score – the only Dutch Jupiler side that didn't net – downed the goals treble.
Saturday's card is busy and I must admit I prefer my goals bets to my match tips.
The afternoon starts with big derbies in Glasgow and Manchester and I've posted separate Scottish and English previews.
Here are my top tips and remember to do the long shots for low stakes.

Well after landing an over1.5 first half goals Acca during internationals week, the day after i posted one on here, I was going to do another for tomorrow. Couldn’t decide on matches so instead I’m doing a half with most goals = 2nd and a bookings points between 25/35 and 45/55 points Acca for the six 3 o clock premiership matches. Doubles and trebles mainly. The bookings one hit 4 out of 5 a fortnight ago. Never tried the second half one but 3 out of the six should see a decent return.
Nap to the bookings one though. I used Skybet ?
Request a bet for tomorrow is Fellaini and Barton to be carded@11/4
Bookings turned a proffit not quite 2/1.
Second half goals saw a small loss. All in this week about level.
Definitely better with five games as the outlay is smaller and definitely happier with the bookings bet. Unlucky not to get more on that one. Onwards
Think @craigyboy tipped Wolves earlier in the week and I think they may very well sink the Burton ship tomorrow.

Wolves Over 2.5 team goals
7/2
Coral
Good luck all with your punts!
Backed over 2.5 goals but Wolves should be the main contributors to goals. High scoring Wolves win IMO. I do like the odds for over 2.5 Wolves TG. Can see a 3-1, 3-2 to the gold and black.
Finally a card with lots too choose from! That said though it does seem a tough one!
Luton v Grimsby
This Fixture looks as though it should provide goals, Luton have found form and have scored 7 goals in their last 2 league games. Grimsby have seen over 2.5 in their last 5 league games with 3 of them seeing over 3.5, they have also conceded 2 or more goals in 6 games on the trot!
Over 2.5 goals – 5/6
Yeovil v Hartlepool
Another game that should bring goals with both teams being terrible defensively, Yeovil conceding 11 in their last 3 league games and Hartlepool 10, which includes a 6-1 hammering last time out to Stevenage!
Over2.5 goals – 11/10
What are people thoughts on Leicester? They seem over priced to me at 9/2!?
Bets for tomorrow gents
Will post a write up in the morning

One for tomorrow and put up late on yesterday’s thread…
My eldest’s birthday tomorrow so won’t have much time available hence the early post…
BURY VS. SHREWSBURY TOWN:
Hopes were high heading into our 2015-2016 campaign last year with a tidy looking set-up and it was a dream start but by late Autumn the wheels had started to fall off despite as strong a squad as we’ve had in a long while.
Fast-forward 12 months and aspirations were low at the start of the 2016-2017 campaign with injuries and club exits such as Leon Clarke taking front stage at Gigg – but despite everything, it’s been an unexpected positive opening salvo that sees the Shakers sitting 9th with a well-deserved grin on our faces.
Shrewsbury’s visit to Bury could well be a corker tomorrow and we’ve managed to net 4, 4 and 3 team goals in our last 3 with both recent games seeing 4 goals for the Shakers.
Shrewsbury themselves are no strangers to goals this season with 5 of their last 7 featuring a minimun of 3+
The most recent H2H was a 2-2 draw and there’ll be an element of revenge for Shrewsbury dicking us 5-0 two terms back – I suspect our new talisman Vaughan will play a part…class enough for this level without a doubt.
The Shrews could see a return for Leitch-Smith and O’Brian whilst some of our top names (Tutte, Cameron and co) remain on the wounded list – whereas that might have been a worry as cited in recent weeks, it’s not been impacting the team performances and Flitcroft will look to play the same starting 11 that have been a bit of a revelation in recent weeks.
Selections to consider:
BURY OVER 1.5TGS…EVENS
BURY OVER 2.5 TGS…10/3
OVER 3.5 MGS…9/4
VAUGHAN ATGS…8/5
VAUGHAN 2+…17/2
Best of luck with all bets tomorrow ?

OVER 2.5 MGS…3.27/1
Absolute bonkers game in Paraguay…River Plate 0-4 up within ’37 minutes against Sol de America…SDA were favourites here and I just can’t ignore this at a massive price…

YESSSS Hull!!! Threw a nice twenty on that at 365, cheers. Have a good day tomorrow mate!
**WON** – 2-6 final score ?
I was following this game as had sol o1.5tg as part of a treble (the other 2 were in). When they went 0-4 I couldn’t Adam and believe it!! Well done on this tip, great call
Morning everyone, its your main man Max here, just checking in and I have some Saturday tips for you. My followers and regulars know I don’t go mad on the Saturday card has there are lots of matches and punters are likely to part with more cash than they would normally.
I have been researching for the past few days and I am sold on the letter W. Wolves, West Ham and hopefully Winners :-)
My NAP is Wolves to beat Burton, despite Burton’s recent form I can see Wolves winning at home given their record. I admit it is a brave NAP, some would tip 4/7 as their main bet, but I like to tip the best bet I find after researching regardless of the price and, I know my followers respect that.
At 10/11 you don’t have to use your full NAP balance points on it, or even NB stakes. The odds are good so stake what you can afford. West Ham could welcome back Payet to a side that look short on goals due to injuries, and they almost exited Europe quicker than us! They face Watford in in what looks like a BTTS and O2.5mg game for me, however 19/20 for a win looks a nice bet, and to double my stakes, I am taking them to score O1.5tg at evens.
I posted a 14/1 derby day bonkers tip yesterday which as legs in it, depending on team news, so don’t miss that.

(All these prices were taken yesterday so I can’t guarantee they will be the same now). Big card today following the international break, and so I had a big shortlist to try and whittle down selections. Not stuck a bet on since the midweek full house – trying to make a concerted effort with discipline this season. Anyway, onto the punts:
Young Boys
Hibernian
O1.5 Team Goals Double @ 13/10 (Bet365)
No need to touch much on these sides as Jordan has covered Young Boys, while I’ll let JohnB do all the talking for Hibs. I always like Young Boys for goals at home, while I think Hibs ought to have enough to get 2 at Dumbarton.
–
Harrogate O1.5 Team Goals @ 83/100 (Unibet)
Those following Alfreton this season are certainly getting their money’s worth. They are scoring and conceding for fun, making them a bookies’ nightmare for the time being. Granted, this has got to come to an end soon with a 0-0 somewhere on the horizon, but I’m gonna’ tempt fate one more time. Harrogate have been efficient this season, picking up victories home and away. They’ve yet to face the sterner tests the league will provide, but did beat a solid Halifax side 1-0 away. If Alfreton keep defending like they have been, there should be two here for Harrogate.

I see I’m not the only one to pick out a dud last night, I had VVV on a double, think they lost 1 nil.
Nevermind.
Anyway, Derby face Newcastle at the Ipro today, and surprise surprise, I’ve been awake since 7pm ( and my freeview box won’t update ) — GRRRRRR !! still, at least there’s cricfree.tv I need sleep and I need to make sure I’m awake for the late kickoff. God knows if i’ll be around before to give a heads up on the starting 11 but we’ve had some big big changes at Derby in the closing moments of the transfer window.
The biggest news is that Derby’s most consistent midfielder ( possibly one of the best in the division ) – Jeff Hendrick left for his first taste of Premiership footie by joining Burnley for £10 million+. Burnley got the fob off with a 3 mill offer, then shortly after doubled it, then every man and his dog joined in the proverbial meat stripping and the boss quite rightly stated ” he’s a £10 million + midfielder “. I agree. He’s been so consistent and not to mention aside from Bale, he was one of the standout players of the Euro’s. ( That 40 yard rocket against the Belgian bar showed the rest of Europe what we’ve been accustomed to since he was promoted from the ranks of our academy !!!! ). I’m pleased for the lad, glad we got a truck load of cash ( + international appearance add-ons no doubt + a slice of any sell on fee ) and that figure could easily hit £15-£20mill. Not bad for a youngster we brought through the ranks for NOTHING. He then duly obliged his country by getting the opener in the very next international.
The biggest shock though was Chris Martin going to Fulham on a season long loan – with a £2.5 – £3 mill loan fee for the season with the option to buy him. He too was a freebie from Norwich, out of favour, not that match sharp but I believe we’ve had 60 goals from him in 3 seasons. Martin has been fed scraps all season and he’s just not hit the ground running with the goals. Hardly his fault when you have a manager that DOESN’T know his best 11 and formation. He then gets his shooting boots zero’d in at international level and gets on the scoresheet for Scotland the very next game. – Having said that, we spent a good chunk of cash on Readings star striker Nick Blackman and he’s barely had a sniff at a start in the 9 months we’ve had him. Maybe, he’ll get some game time , a bit of confidence and start to pay back that hefty transfer figure with some goals.
Can’t for the life of me think why he’s kept Darren Bent, he’s been lazy and next to useless. Yes, he was a freebie, I believed he had a transfer fee once of £16 mill, if memory serves me rightly, either Villa or Spurs paid £22-£23 mill for him. No idea why !! Over valued, over rated and over paid.
Derby look out of their depth without Thorne ( still recovering double leg break ) and with Eustace released, nobody in the ranks has been able to fill those shoes. The man with the purse strings at the Ipro has dipped deep into his pocket again and we’ve added I think a pair of wingers and a highly rated striker. I think another £10 or £12 mill was spent.
I have no idea on who is going to line up, or how. Hughes is struggling to shake off a training ground injury and it might be that the boss will throw on most of his new signings. Maybe its a time for change. Either way, I think he’s trying to forge out his own starting 11 rather than having the spine of Nigel Clough’s team still running the show.
Onto Newcastle: Going back as long as I can remember ( late nineties ), Derby have had a commendable set of results against a team with 50,000 fans. I still laugh at my brother going on holiday and missing 1 home game. It was the season Derby only won once – at home – against Newcastle. Cheers bro’ , I got his season ticket for that match. !!
We’re 9/5 with bet365 for a home win, the same as Newcastle to beat us. It’s 11/5 for the draw. My gut tells me a draw but I’m not confident. BUT I do think Derby will show up. Much more confident in the Derby double result at 4/9 with bet365. I do think btts will also come up. We’re due a goal, Derby are still distinctly average at defending so this late 5:30 kickoff on Sky with 2 sides expected to be chasing down promotion should be a good one for the neutrals. Newcastle have also NOT been that impressive away from home this season – which pushes me back to the Derby double result.
If I can get in some sleep, be awake in time and post a team news, I shall do. If not, then please can someone do the honors for me, it should be up about 4:30pm.
Best of luck with your bets guys.
Good write-up. I fancy Newcastle but like you want to see how Derby line up.

@mr-fixit and everyone else:
I’ve taken my pills, my TiVo box took 12 hrs to reboot so I now have TV… The first thing I bookmarked for record is the La Vuelta. – The Spanish main cycling race – possibly 2nd only to Le Tour.
Chris Froome went straight from France to Rio and got a bronze in the individual persuit, whilst his rival Nairo Quintada ( definitely a league behind on the head to head against froome on both individual time trial and mountain stages had a shade under 4 mins advantage going into yesterdays individual time trial. Quintada talked the talk by stating ” pre- time trial ” he’s comfortable having over 3 mins on his rival going into that 19th stage and that he expects to concede seconds rather than minutes to Froome yesterday.
Froome ( 2nd to last to go took 40+ seconds out of the early time trial leader ( the guy he beat into bronze in Rio ) – and no surprises, Quintado conceded over 2 mins of his lead to Froome. Froome was on fire winning the stage whilst Quintada finished well down the field in around 20 something’th. That lead is around 1 min 30 – 1 min 40 secs over Froome. And guess what…. Froome is a much better climber and descender on this mountainous 20th stage. Froome has a great team around him with the likes of Konig as one of his advanced ” domestique’s ” but Quintado has 3 or 4 that are there or there abouts to drive him along.
This stage is set up for a grand finale and should be the stand out stage of the La Vuelta. Quintado is not as fluent as Froome at climbing and even though Quintado avoided Rio to freshen up for this road race, he’s going up against the triple maillot Jaune winner. You’re a fool if you think this is straight forward BUT it is definitely a two horse race and I have to back our man from Sky to attack on the mountain. Quintado HAS to cover EVERY attack he makes on the incline – then the decline ( I love his unorthodox seating position to minimize his aerodynamic profile ). Froome has the pedigree, the stage more suits him than Quintado and Froome is a finely tuned machine, his build gives him more KW’s in power but hampers his aero, yet Quintado has a lower aero profile but doesn’t have the strength to compete.
Quintado made his move on stage 15 and Froome should of covered it, if he had, he’d be in pole position for this showdown. After this stage, its pretty much a sunday bike ride for the last stage in Madrid tomorrow.
IF you fancy a slice of the pie, Froome is the same price as Quintado to win outright at 10/3 with bet365. A tenner on each rider WILL give a profit. A winner from either will drop a £23 profit – and theres nobody else that’s even close to threatening those top 2.
You need to jump on this quickly folks as the race isn’t far from starting. This is as good a tip as you’ll see all day.
Now for 5 hrs sleep and onto Derby tonight. I’ll catch you all later and I hope someone on here makes a few quid from this juicey tip.
Strange first half at Celtic Park. Not much goalmouth action but 3 goals and a Rangers fightback.
Backed Demebele to score first in absence of Griffiths.

what companies if any are co-owned or pass on info?
Ive already been restricted by betfair sportsbook to £2 bets and account was not in much profit.
Appreciate any help cheers

Yep my mistake have added Leicester in the Acca though. I feel they’re good odds for the draw
PRESTON V BARNSLEY
Preston have conceded in all 5 of their last 5 championship homes games, in 4 of them they conceded before 65:00 minutes.
Barnsley have scored in all 5 of their last championship away games, in 4 of them they scored before 65:00 minutes.
BARNSLEY TO SCORE BEFORE 65:00 5/6 (bet365)

Came in comfortably after 27 minutes, hope some of you got on.
Well my 15/1 – 5 team acca is up at HT. Hopefully it stays this way!
Ah sh*t – that could well scupper the Shaker’s selections – James Vaughan red card on 41 minutes…knobhead ?

Four-Fold pays around 150/1 *LOST*
All in all not a bad day with a 15/1 winner. It seemed goals were going in in all the other games for my BTTS and Forest Green let my BTTS & Win bet down earlier.
Last one for toward will be the Liverpool game and I fancy them to win 3-1 @ 12/ with bet365.
Also Lallana had a decent game for England and is 13/5 Any Time scorer today.
Alfreton v Harrogate, Halifax v Stalybridge, Barcelona v Alaves
O0.5 First Half Goals Treble @ 19/20 (Betstars) [COVER AVAILABLE – 9/2]
Tough card today with two losers already. Hibs only got the one goal while either Harrogate didn’t turn up or Alfreton learnt to defend. Taking the 9/2 cover to minimise losses today but will hopefully reclaim some if it wins, as I would let it run if not for 2 other losers.
youngboys v lucerne btts and over 1.72
barcelona over 3.5,4 goal line 1.80
youngboys btts and overs won
just waiting on barca goals
Despite a dodgy day thus far, I’m going to continue to take the evening punt I had in mind:
Heerenveen v Twente
BTTS and O2.5 Match Goals @ 87/100 (Coral)
MrFixit.Well done with the BTTS advice. You are very consistent in this market and you helped win me a good few quid today.Thank you very much.
Poor afternoon so far ..
Liverpool v Leicester BTTS and Overs 11/10
Sturridge ATGS 11/10
Aubameyang ATGS 4/5
on pal GL
Mr Fixit, well done on your both teams to score predictions, brilliant. I put the six of them together for a tidy profit. Keep up the good work.
Mixed bag today and well done all winners…
Had Fellaini to be booked at 11/8 which was a winner but wasn’t expecting our main stiker Vaughan to see red on 40 minutes which bombed his selections and scuppered the goal-count in the game…as did Shrewsbury’s second half red.
Still, The Mighty Shakers have had resilience if not much else this season and fired in a late, late winner
BURY OVER 1.5 TGS…EVENS…WON.
My 3.27/1 NLN goals treble fell at the last with Curzon and FC Utd’s games seeing goals-galore but my pet fancies Darlo managing to score just the 1 goal in a 1-1 draw.
Few fancies for the Night Owl and need to have a proper look…will pop something up if think it has a chance.
Some odds results today, Aldershot were my big let down, but M F saved the day with yet another members bet winner! ?
Wee dabble on this
Red star belgrade, basel o3.5mgs double 3/1

Evening dc, just going through todays forum another belter from you today sir……

Anyone watching the Liverpool game will see how much we have dominated! Stupid Lucas (isn’t it always) with an appealing defensive error to get them back into it
Advise anyway to watch MOTD later… It is special

lost
Well played mr f, great day for you
Hi there, I’m a new member and I’m after some advice please. I opened a bet 365 account and they matched my first bet of £50. I placed the free bet today which returned £408, which is great but I can withdraw it yet. I understand I need to play through my bey so many times, but don’t really understand it? Can anyone advise please? Thanks
Check the terms and conditions – you can’t withdraw the winnings until you play a certain amount of bets.
It’s to stop bonus abuse. Always check when you open any account.
On their site: “To be able to withdraw the bonus funds you will need to rollover 3 x the total of the deposit and bonus, but your original deposit and profits you make from that deposit are withdrawable at any point.”
Click on the ‘bonus’ tab in the members section, then ‘bonus history’. It will tell you there how much more you need to bet before you can withdraw. You usually have 90 days to meet the turnover requirements.
Adam Lallana any time comes in at 13/5.
I hope it stays 3-1 for the 12/1 as well!
Tonites bets, rather a few but had a good lump on both of todays winners on the old firm game couldnt see past either…..

Anyone else think Torino look a big price tomorrow? They are currently sitting at 15/8 and I fancy them to beat a poor Atlanta side. Also the Torino and under 2.5 match goals is a decent shout at 5/1.
Yeah Torino on my shortlist.
Thanx Mr F
What a day!!!!!!!!
Sturridge, Aubameyang ATGS LOST …
BTTS and Barca Win 13/8
Not sure about the Barca line up with Messi and Suarez on the bench … Neymar and Alcazar to short odds as goal scorers … will see if Alaves can nick a goal …
Lallana anytime scorer 13/5 *WIN*
Liverpool win 3-1 @ 12/1 *LOST*
Last minute goal cost me the 3-1 but I covered it after 85mins with 3-2 and 4-1 bets so still made some off it.
All in all a good day with a 15/1 & 13/5 winner tipped and others going close.
Actually a few games that appeal this evening in Paraguay, Bolivia and Nicaragua but after much deliberation it’s over to Colombia for the Night Owl…
DEPORTIVO CALI VS. BOYACÁ CHICÓ (23.00 KO):
Not only do the away side sound like a homo-erotic drag act, they play football like one as well.
Sitting bottom after 10 games, Chico have amassed 4 points whilst attaining an underwhelming g/d of -11.
Of their last 22 games, they have won only 3 with one of those being in the Copa Colombia although they did run out 1-0 victors in the most recent H2H earlier in the year.
Aside from that, it’s Cali all the way and in the other 4 H2H’s – all within a 16 month period – they have won: 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, 2-0.
3 selections to consider with a healthy stake on the first!
DEPORTIVO CALI OVER 1.5 TGS…8/15
DEPORTIVO CALI OVER 2.5 TGS…13/8
CORRECT SCORE 2-0…4/1
CORRECT SCORE 3-0…6/1
Best of luck ?
Sakes thought ad give zaragoza a wee break tonite for goals been 4 in 38 mins ffs……
Just scanning the thread and a big doth of the cap in DC John’s direction…belting stuff ?

Oooft wots way the correct scores noo…….. you on the glue…… :D
Evening lads, had a great day betting wise & can’t believe that I have clocked 2 6 folds in the last 2 weekends. I am totally drunk at the moment as been out all day watching old firm game. Did not go to game due to scandolous prices but my dad & friends went & salute them for that because I know what it means to them & what they have been though the past 4 years. We are still rangers no matter what they say. Proven by the fact that park head was full for first time in 4 years
@craneguy I love your bets & they are never far from what I am think but at same time I admire craneguy & hull etc as u know ur stuff & are never far way & can rely on you for winners
I am still learning & am an amateur but Do my research & try my best to contribute to an amazing & knowledgable site
Sorry for the drunk post
Haha John – enjoy ?…to quote your man from Trainspotting:
“It does a man good to cut loose once in a while”
(Seconds before Spud’s soiled bedsheet lets loose it’s load ?)
BTTS and Barca Win 13/8
Can be covered Alaves or Draw 11/2
Alfreton v Harrogate, Halifax v Stalybridge, Barcelona v Alaves
O0.5 First Half Goals Treble @ 19/20 (Betstars) ///WIN///
Heerenveen v Twente
BTTS and O2.5 Match Goals @ 87/100 (Coral) ///WIN///
With the two earlier losers and the cover made on the first half goals treble, it roughly works out at a break even day. Relieved to salvage the majority of the losses to keep up a good month. Congratulations to all with winning punts today, especially to DC John Boy who absolutely smashed it.
