I WAS quite happy not to put up any tips on Wednesday and it will be the same on Thursday.
My focus remains on the weekend football and I have five Super Singles involving Hearts and Rangers already advised. The two Rangers handicap bets have been slashed but the Hearts prices haven't altered much.
For those planning a punt on Thursday there is one Spanish Cup game between favourites Mallorca and Huesca as well as six top-flight Finnish games. For anyone who follows this league one point separates the top three with HJK, SJK and RoPS battling for the title.
HJK are at home to Inter, SJK travel to KuPS and RoPS entertain Jaro. I haven't been following the Finns since the summer but you have to imagine HJK and RoPS will win with that double paying 6-4 at BetVictor and Ladbrokes.
Check team news if you fancy that double because I haven't seen anything of note.
Earlier I kicked off a debate on long odds v short odds and it's great to see the comments. They make interesting reading and just sum up the fact no two punters are the same.

Going for some night value in Bolivia lads ;) Had a wonder yesterday with Slovakia’s 0-0 yesterday, hope to provide some useful information again today:
Bolivar – Blooming
Bolivar are traditionally one of the top teams in the country, but have started this season off fairly poorly. They rotated quite heavily for some Copa Sudamericana games, but they don’t have any other games ahead soon, so can now fully focus back on the league. Bolivar have their first goalkeeper back in the squad + crucial players Fereira and Tenorio are back as well, this will be a major boost. On the other hand, Blooming have a couple of notable absentees, which no doubt leaves the team shorthanded. This has already taken effect, with them losing the last 3 straight. Bolivar are an absolute powerhouse at home, well, who wouldn’t be if you play at 4000m altitude? :D Blooming, coming from Potosi, which is apx. 500m above the sea. Quite a difference here…The H2H record proves this as well, with Bolivar being 17-4-0 in their home games against today’s opponents. Given all the facts, the odds already dropped heavily, but you can still get on.

I’ve found the best system is to start with a stake between £10 and £30 and roll it over until you quadruple it, then start over. Will be looking to get this one to £50 with the next bet then start over with £25 to £100.

Just a heads up everyone, I’m sure most are aware of the technical issues Bet 365 were having with the Girona game last night with there being 10000000 x 10 shots. And due to this error I complaint to 365 and they gave me a refund on all my bets which included that game! Chuffed.
Thebettingman it’s advised too have accounts with more than 1 firm too give yourself a broader spectrum of odds too choose from on each selection. Personally I like bet365 due too the amount of markets offered and a higher level of customer service than most of the others
This is a general comment and discussion point – do most people here all have multiple betting site accounts and use them all to get best odds. Clearly this is the most sensible thing to do, to maximise profits. However, having only been actively betting on the tips for the last few weeks or so I have simply been using William Hill – it had my original chunk of money I put in to use as a pot and I just find it easier to keep track of my total pot by having it in that one account. Downside being obviously sometimes you miss out on better odds / cash out. I have a spreadsheet I am keeping (dorky I know) – largely to track my winnings and losses so I could keep track of balances across multiple sites – but I haven’t done this yet – largely due to the hassle of having to make sure there is enough across multiple sites – and the annoyance that it takes them days to pay out money into your bank to allow you to put in other accounts. Wondered what other guys here do with their betting / accounts

Thebettingman & Jacksonator, my advice would be to go to oddschecker and look for the ‘free bets’ tab. It gives you links to all the bookies and their sign up offers. I would sign up to all big ones and max out all their sign up offers as you’ll end up with hundreds of pounds worth of free bets. Once you’re signed up to loads of different ones you can use oddschecker for your betting to get the best odds. It will make a huge difference over the long term. One example; I tend to use bet365 mostly because I like their layout the best and find it easiest to use, but lewandowski to score 2+ against Gibraltar last week was only 1/2. I went to oddschecker and found the same bet was 9/10 at betvictor, which is quite a big difference

Seeing loads of goals tips for the Finnish top flight games but I’ll be staying clear of this league as the lower league’s in Finland are far better. Some stats for those on these matches…

Luke, Hearts have lost one game this season and they were leading 2-1 before wrongly having a man sent off.
Every other game they have won – that’s why they’re being backed at an Inverness side yet to win.
My opinion is to back hearts goals rather than the win the could score 2 and still lose so go for goals as when it’s in its in no last minute equaliser heart aches or anything but that’s just my opinion as I prefer goals over wdw

Glad you agree Luke…ICT have played 8 games and only Celtic and Hamilton have scored over 1 goal against them . Hamilton 2nd goal came in Injury time when the home side were pushing for an equaliser. Astra Giurgiu are a free scoring team and only managed1 goal over 2 legs. In ICT 8 games only the Celtic game has been over 2.5. I’m expecting a tight game in Inverness and u2.5gls at 7/10 looks the bet for me

I remember Mr Browning won quite big one night last season but may have been on league one but it’s my turn this year ;)

Mr H: I’ve backed Grasshoppers a few times on the over 3.5 goals line. To me the game against Luzern looks another for over 3.5 goals. If you remove the games both have played against St Gallen (who always go under) then its 6 out of 6 over 3.5 goals for Grasshoppers games and 2 our of 2 over 3.5 goals for Luzern home matches.
Over 3.5 goals @ 9/5 with Bet Victor at small staeks for me.
Rab I agree with you but rather than over 3.5 I’d go safer with o3.0 GL at 2.150…that way if it has 3 goals the stakes are returned and you keep playing….GL with your bet

Sean I’ve been doing them constantly for months. Usually go £25 to £100 then start over with 25. It’s been profitable so far but had a couple of crap results the last 2 days. The 20 I started with on here yesterday is only up to 25 at the moment haha better than 0 I guess

Age old question Mr F…Form or H2H??? Hearts have beaten ICT 3 times in 16 attempts. For the sake of everyone who has backed Hearts I hope it’s form that is king but i shall still be avoiding the game personally
Mr H, I prefer form. I don’t think h2h counts for much in this one when you consider how Hearts have progressed since going down.
Inverness haven’t recovered from losing players after their cup final success.
H2h is always worth looking but sometimes it’s all about form.

Sticking with in plays primarily so no proper bets for me tomorrow, but Wiener Neustadt to score against st polten is 8/11 with bet365 and looks a good bet. The odds are on the drift but I don’t know why, wiener have won their last 2 games 1-0 after a poor start to season. St polten haven’t won any of their 3 home games this season and conceded in each of them. H2h massively favours wiener too but last game was 09 so it’s irrelevant. Really can’t see why st polten are being backed given both sides’ form

Agreed Mr F…Hearts have looked good since their relegation and on paper should win tomorrow night. I think the draw no bet is the better option of your 3 singles highlighted. Should be a tight affair either way given ICT have only lost 2 of 8 by more than 1 goal and Hearts have only won 3 of 8 by more than 1 and those 3 were at Tynecastle

Not a jump out at you btts (h2h also doesn’t support this with 1 from the last 5 being btts) but Cruzerio will go into this game with some confidence having won the last two 5-1 home and 1-2 away (both games against sides in a similar league position and not as high as Flamengo)
Both sides should be tired, this will the 4th game for both sides since the 30/08/2015.
I am looking at this from purely a confidence perspective and fancy an away goal to be sneaked. Flamengo are a side that is well capable of scoring 2+ at home having achieved this in 4 out of 5 home games, whilst also winning 3 from 5 with over 2.5 match goals.

Dturton it’s hard to say, I tend to gradually bank build all week with in plays then do something rash on the Weekend like over stake on a value pick where I’m trying to be too clever and convince myself it’s a banker with a huge write up. Went through a period about 3-4 weeks ago where I doubled my betting bank in 2 weeks just from rolling in play challenge bets. Hence I’m sticking with just in plays on here now and I’ll keep figures for them too as it will be easy to. Slow start as it’s taken 2 days to get £20 to £25 but the games have been crap

John, Austria looks great this weekend. Salzburg and Austria Vienna both look certainties to score 2+ and the double probably pays quite well but not checked it. Admira I’m not as sure about as they had an amazing start to the season up until the last game with that shock result losing 1-0 at home. They’re not one of the leagues big boys and I think they were over achieving, so personally I’m gonna miss them out this week but keep an eye on their game to see how and if they bounce back from their loss. Then we’ll know more about their mentality and what their level is this season. Wouldn’t want to put you off them but just leaving them myself
