WELL what a week it's been – and that's just off the field.

Rangers' off-on-off move for Derek McInnes ended with the manager staying at Aberdeen and Graeme Murty will remain in charge at least until the new year.

That's a result for the caretaker boss and those who backed him to be manager as most bookies will pay out when he's been in the role 10 games.

After two wins against Aberdeen Murty has a great chance to give Rangers three league wins in a row for the first time this season when Ross County visit today.

Murty's men are a best 2-5 at Stan James which is OK on accas and I'd consider them at 11-10 with betfair -1 after winning 3-1 in Dingwall earlier in the season.

Josh Windass has been playing further forward under Murty and has scored four times in the caretaker's six matches. He is 7-1 at Unibet to score first and 11-5 to net any time.

Elsewhere in the Premiership Hearts have drawn all three since returning to Tynecastle. I don't expect it to get better when Motherwell visit but with Fir Park star striker Louis Moult ruled out injured for the rest of the year it could be another stalemate.

Hamilton are possibly too big at 17-10 with bet365 at home to St Johnstone. Accies are unbeaten in six but Saints at least have netted in their last two after a serious drought. I'll keep the draw on side and take Accies not to lose at 9-20 with bet365.

Killie have been blowing hot and cold under Steve Clarke but know victory against Partick Thistle at home will open up an eight-point lead over the bottom side.

It's a huge incentive and Killie are 13-10 with William Hill to beat a side with just one win in six at Rugby Park.

It's 67 and counting for Celtic who face another tough test at Hibs tomorrow. Neil Lennon's led the champions at Parkhead before being pegged back to 2-2 and last week the Hoops were minutes away from losing their record.

Celtic are 1-2 at Betway which will tempt many but best bet could be both to score at 9-11 with 188Bet.

In the Championship St Mirren face the same problems faced by Dundee United a fortnight ago when they travelled to Brechin. Glebe Park was described as a “ploughed field” and City picked up just their first point in a 1-1 draw.

Saints are just 2-5 with William Hill to win and unless you hear the pitch is better I'd leave it alone.

United are back on top after last week's defeat of Dunfermline but face a tough test at a Morton side in good shape. The last two meetings at Cappielow have been a draw and this could be a third at 5-2 with bet365.

There were goals galore in League One last week with both scoring in all five games. A repeat pays

Top prospect is Rovers v Arbroath. Four of Rovers' last five have gone over 3.5 goals and they won 4-1 at Gayfield in September. Five of Arbroath's last six have gone over 2.5 goals.

Ayr are Scotland's highest scorers with 43 and their last five matches have totalled 24 goals. Back the home and over 2.5 match goals when Queen's Park visit. Ayr and over 3.5 has a chance at 13-8 with Sky Bet.

In League Two Peterhead have won three in a row without conceding and are 1-2 at Marathonbet at home to Clyde who haven't netted in three.

Rory McAllister – 14 goals in eight games – is 5-2 with McBookie to score first and 1-2 to net.
