THE SFL'S been great for goals recently and I see no reason for a reduction in numbers this weekend.
Livingston v Cowdenbeath stands out more than any. Livi's last two with Dumbarton have produced 12 goals and the last three meetings have finished 1-1.
Cowdenbeath have turned into a goal machine with eight goals in two games against Falkirk and Dunfermline. The Fifers' last seven have seen both score.
Another game I really fancy is Annan v East Stirling in the Third Division. In the last four meetings there have been two 2-2 draws and two 5-2 wins for Annan – and six of the last seven have seen both score.
Next look at the First Division top-of-the-table clash between Morton and Partick Thistle. It's a vital clash between first and second and there should be goals.
Four of the last five meetings have seen both score and Morton have netted eight in their last four Div One clashes with the Jags matching that tally.
Next try Arbroath v Brechin which has a history of goals. Six of the last seven have seen both score including 3-2 to Brechin and 3-1 Arbroath this season. We saw the same two scores in the last two meetings of the previous season and four of Brechin's last five have seen both net with a total of 21 goals.
I was tempted by Celtic v Dundee Utd in the SPL with the Arabs scoring in seven of their last 10 visits to Parkhead and new boss Jackie McNamara returning to his old haunt on the back of successive wins.
However, I'm making it a clean sweep of SFL games with Montrose v Elgin. Look at the last four meetings at Links Park – 2-2, 2-2, 2-3 and 3-0 while Elgin won 6-1 at home at the start of the season.
Montrose's last five have seen both score as have Elgin's previous four.

Annan v East Stirling
Morton v Partick Thistle

Pays a biggest £83.10 to a £10 stake at Stan James
Forfar v Alloa and Queens Park v Berwick?
John, yeah why not. Rich pickings in the SFL this weekend I think.
Rich pickings in it every week it’s just the odds are pretty bad…but if we can get a fourfold up every week i’ll not complain :-)
Just out of curiosity, i notice a few of the scottish games have odds of around 5/2 for both teams to score in the 1st half….that’s not bad
John, it’s not bad but then you’re getting half the chance for either side to score so that’s what it should be.
Hope u were all on Gary Anderson last night.
I reckon you could pick any 5 from the SCOTS league this week BTS its just pickin the right ones obviously.
Yeah cos I was waiting on Airdrie to score at home against Morton for a 6 fold, arrghhhh

No disrespect to the scottish leagues but you have much more of a chance of landing BTTS in Scotland due to the bad standard. I always think its worth a punt!
Jack, maybe it’s the quality of strikers that leads to more goals. Have you ever watched SFL football?
Watch SPL football all the time always live on sky, the standard is just not very good cant put it any better than that!
Jack, the question was do you watch SFL football? If you don’t you can’t comment about the standard same as I don’t slag off football I don’t watch.
Football is about opinions Fixit thats why the game we love is so good!
bury v coventry. bristol rovers v wycombe. ross county v st johnstone. portsmouth v carlisle. liverpool v swansea.both teams to score.
Where is the best bookies to put bts coupon on? Espcially scot footy
Brian, if you are talking about shops the Paddy Power have SFL on their coupons. Online most will take them, check oddschecker who have a both teams to score comparison coupon.
To the guy slagging off Scottish footy many epl games have been btts this season
Mickeybhoy, don’t think he had any evidence, just fancied a dig. People can criticise but not if they don’t know anything about. You get bad games at all levels and when you look at the lack of money spent by SFL clubs they provide value for money a lot of times.
