Really fancy Alexander M in the 4.30 at Ripon(see couple of mentions for the race)so was going to do a single and a smaller double with Rodaini in the 4.30 ( both EVS now)
My concern(apart from @tipsultan tipping Sand Chorus) is Hugin with J.Spencer on board is attracting money and is steadily improving but I think the EVS for Rodaini is generous.
Any thoughts please? @johnb if you see this and have the time it be appreciated. ?
I personally think there is a lot more to come from hugin and it will win today but its not a race i would get involved in. Best of luck whatever you do recoba.
Aye Tobyr I’ve done the single on Alexander M now so best leave it,as you say it’s not one to get involved in especially just in the hunt for a double,also more money for Hugin. 4/6 now.

Ran in a points race at Upcott Cross in May was going really well and was 25 lengths clear of the field when fell at 2nd last.I know the standard of the race wasnt great but looks a really interesting newcomer and money for it says something.So worth a chance for me.

lots of mentions for highland acclaim in the 1510 at Epsom, however the johnston and fanning combination in these silks is not something to overlook lightly, especially since skybet are offering 8/1. which at a 1/5 of the odds, equates to 1.6/1, therefore the pick is POET’S SOCIETY ew.
Next, 1620 at Epsom brings my attention to another interesting combination I like to keep tabs on, Hughes/Kelly, the form of a recent 2nd hasnt exactly been franked, although he gave over a stone to Lady of York and smashed her, who then went onto win her next race and a few other horses he beat have always ran into places. LETS BE HAPPY 5/1 win.
1745 Carlisle and LINAS STAR is glaring at me, at 8/1 this horse has ran a couple of good races in higher class and today has the assistance of philly makin, one of the best at getting the job done over this sort of trip. Although I will back this horse to win, it is a safe option to back each way as you are getting well over evens.
My final pick is in the 1755 at Ballinrobe, I am going for a Hogan and Hogan combination at 9/2 I think is still decent value, the horse has won at this venue and also did the distance.
Chucking them all in a L15 too, best of luck today all.

Garbine looks excellent value to get to the semi final, I don’t think there is a tennis player male or female playing better than the Spaniard at the moment, at the start of the tournament I couldn’t see anyone really troubling her to win her second successive slam tournament but that has changed with more research and by watching a match early Tuesday morning when I watched Maria Sharapova beat Simona Halep, for all Sharapova has been through I would like to see her win again and watching her against Halep she certainly could win but a Muguruza V Sharapova semi final would be a great battle,
Muguruza is strong and powerful which was evident last week in Cincinnati where she was in the form of her life, in the Semi Final she beat World Number One Karolina Pliskova 6-3 6-2 and then in the final she beat World Number Two Simona Halep 6-1 6-0
Halep knew a win would put her at number one in the world but she was simply blown away by Muguruza, Halep is definitely one of the best baseline players in the women’s game but even she couldn’t handle Muguruza’s power and accuracy, while I like Muguruza for the title there are dangers but the winner should come from either MUGURUZA 4/1, OSTAPENKO 28/1, SHARAPOVA 8/1 or SVITOLINA 10/1
I have also backed all four of these women to win the tournament with 2 points on Muguruza, 1 point on Sharapova & Svitolina and 1/2 point on Ostapenko
Muguruza’s the winner for me. Good display by Sharapova bit not sure she can keep it going.
