NO joy with my double-stake pick on Monday so it was 2pts lost and I'm now 29.21pts up for August.

I have another joint nap/NB advised for Tuesday and a total of 6ps staked.

Well done all Monday winners and let's hear all your latest tips and chat.

Johnb's Tuesday Tips

  • Kempton 3:45 – Anna Medici 2-1 skybet

The run of Anna Medici can be upgraded as she won from a bad draw and was slowly away. With no penalty she can win again.

  • Kempton 4:15 – Sir Titan 11-4 NAP/NB bet365 (double stake)

Probably should have been three from three this year after being collared on the line last time out by Battered. That was by far a better race than this so Sir Titan should win, I am confident enough to make this our racing club bet.

  • Yarmouth 7:10 – Multicultural 6-4 bet365

I was really impressed with this horse last time out at this course. She beat a pretty decent horse in Call Me Grumpy to prove she was on a lenient mark and a 6lb looking unlikely to stop her with the level of improvement expected to outweigh the penalty.

  • Also 3 x 0.5pt doubles & 1 x 0.5pt treble bet365 7-4 11-4 6-4

Johnb's Antepost Tips Update

  • 1000 Guineas
  • CLEMMIE advised at 25-1
  • Now 8-1 unibet best price and as low as 5-1 Stan James

Just seen the Davy Russell punching the horse footage and I hope this disgusting individual receives a long, long ban to allow himself time to reflect on his actions.
Quite sickening really, though no doubt John b will disagree ?

    • elvis parsley 7 years ago

He has history too, receiving a 17 day ban in October 2016 for over use of the whip.

    • recoba 7 years ago

Not seen it Elvis….Maybe the horse deserved it. ?
      Sounds strange!

I would like you to explain why you think I would disagree
With my background with horses I always have and always will take their welfare very seriously and Johnb Racing are the only racehorse syndicate service that donate a substantial percentage to racing Charities

    • elvis parsley 7 years ago

I’m sure you have said in the past that banning the whip wasn’t a good idea, that’s why.
Whips should not be used, end of, and nothing will swerve me from that view.

    • Johnb 7 years ago

Problem is though that when you said “though no doubt Johnb will disagree” you were talking about the punch to the head and not the whip as you only mentioned the whip after the head incident
So again I would like you to explain why I would disagree about Davy Russell getting a ban for punching the horse
Then I think I deserve an apology

    • elvis parsley 7 years ago

If you hit a horse with a whip to make it do what you want then what he did is the same.

But I apologise if you think I’m saying you believe in animal cruelty which isn’t the case.
      Sorry for the misunderstanding
