IT was a bad day on Thursday with no winners so I was 5pts down on the day and September now shows a 3.28pt profit.
Well done to all winners and I'm hoping to bounce back with a fab Friday.
Doncaster 3:35
Desert Skyline gets the three year old allowance here as he is only rated 4lb lower than last year's winner and top rated Sheikhzayedroad. He looks better the further he goes, last time out at Deauville he was second in what was a pretty decent group two and before that he was third in the Goodwood Cup beaten only by Stradivarius and Big Orange.
Chester 3:55
Right Touch is one of five horses from the Richard Fahey yard and although jockey bookings might not suggest it, Right Touch is his main one. Right Touch looks better over today's distance and has the ideal draw to make all here at a course where he has a win and a second from two previous visits.
Doncaster 5:10
Pivoine impressed me last time with the way he won at Kempton, there is no reason why he can't transfer that form onto turf. He had a visor on for that last run and has it on again today, while the visor usually gets improvement first time it's the second time that it sometimes doesn't work which is the only doubt.

Ran well in a good 7f maiden at York Staying on well to take 6th. Looks Sure to appreciate today’s step up in distance. The 3rd horse in that same race- Laugh a minute, won a £300k race on yesterday’s card. Been plenty of money this morning 9/1 into 6/1 and as low as 9/2 in some places.

At 13/2, I feel it is actually a bit short, but ACEVENTURA to win £4 and Sherzy Boy £3 e/w is my pick for this race.
150, at 9/2 ETERNALLY has every chance with conditions to suit. £8
Before JB had a 15/2 winner with Prescott and Morris, they were on my radar, may not be prolific with winners, but at 10/1 TURNING GOLD is worth a stab, I’m going OTN £5.
Finish this lot of with CARIDADE, Stott and Ryan, up there with the best, short at 9/4 but expected to get the job done £7.
£30 outlay but only need 1 winner other than caridade to make a profit/not lose, BOL.

Just taking this race as an example with it being high profile, the Group 2 Doncaster Cup worth £56,710 to the winner and it’s one of the worst Doncaster Cup fields I have seen, plenty of good prize money out there for the taking with people that know what they are doing
