DORIAN GRAY (Southwell 12.30) may have been beaten a total of 66 lengths in three runs but he did like Southwell last time.
Beaten 10 lengths he was up against a couple of far better horses but should be more at home here and I liked the way he battled on up the straight to get third quite comfortably.
Bertie Moon (Southwell 2.0) is another that handles this surface and although beaten 11 lengths here last time it was against a horse who was certainly on a going day and Bertie Moon was also comfortably ahead of the rest and should be winning here.
Monteverdi (Southwell 2.30) hasn’t raced here before but if you can win on the beach at Laytown then you can win here. It’s a competitive race but Montiverdi stands out as value as I think he could prove to be well handicapped when racing here as it could turn out to be his favoured track.

Today is nice for main tips. One NR in NAP and trixe, but NB is winner with solid drifting on 2/1 and trixie landed with one NR ( void bet but count on odds 1), so we generated +10.67pt profit on trixie bank! Well done all winners and good luck tomorrow on low racecards!!!
