SEND UP got up on Monday and drifted in the betting to give us a 15-2 winner and take us into profit for September to the tune of 6.03pts.
I always say the bookies can't spot things like a well handicapped horse and they didn't spot this one. Send Up is the kind of bet that members of Johnb Racing can look forward to when breeding our own horses.

Grimeford Lane has some good form to his name with his second place at Ayr and that form stands out as the best on offer. He didn't like the heavy ground last time so that run can be forgiven, the step back down to seven furlongs is also a plus.

Lulu Stanford has had three wins and a second from six rides on Maori Bob. His latest win was clearly his best and he looks to have more improvement in him as jockey Stanford clearly gets on well with the horse and looks the horse to beat her.

An enquiry was held into the apparent improvement in form of the winner, SEND UP (IRE), ridden by Luke Morris and trained by Sir Mark Prescott Bt, which had never previously been placed. The trainer’s representative was interviewed. Their comments that the filly appreciated the softer ground and the step up in trip from 1 mile to 1 mile and 4 furlongs were noted and the filly was routine tested.
