DESMOND'S looking forward to the weekend much the same way as a chicken feels on a visit to KFC.
It's going to be fight for survival against the bookies today and Desmond says: “After last week's dreadful results we have the dreaded international extended weekend to look forward to but at least there's nearly a full card of League One and League Two to concentrate on.
“First up are Blackpool at home to Cambridge and I like Ladbrokes' offer of 10-11 on them scoring 2+ goals. With five goals scored against top-six sides Carlisle and Portsmouth recently I'm happy to take them with Colchester at home to Newport.
“Colchester are averaging two goals at home and I can see this continuing here against bottom of the table County who are on a pretty poor run with no clean sheets in their last four.”
