IT was one bet and one winner on Wednesday – just the way I like it.
I was only willing to risk 1pt on Iceland U-21s to score 2+ against Scotland and it came in with a 2-0 win.
The only other bet I mentioned – and I thought about the double – was over 2.5 Bayern Munich goals at Hibs and they won 6-0. It could have been 10 so watch out for the second leg.
After a quiet week we're blasted with World Cup qualifiers on Thursday and I've posted a separate preview.
European games include Austria v Wales, Ireland v Georgia and Italy v Spain and later in South American highlights are Brazil v Bolivia and Peru v Argentina.
Having looked at the games in more detail I'm taking Wales draw no bet as the Super Single. Austria have been dreadful since they qualified for the Euros and if Gareth Bale is in the mood they can win this one but I'd prefer to keep the draw on side.
For the Top Treble I'm on Iceland to beat Finland, Ireland to beat Georgia and Serbia at Moldova.

Friday’s even worse. three Irish games and two in the Scottish Irn Bru cup where I must admit I’m considering BTTS YES (Ayr/Falkirk, Crusaders/Livingstone) for about 6/4. At least Saturday I’ve got action in the Leagues 1 and 2 and the English non league divisions and Scottish League 2 and Irn Bru action.

Hi gents. Quiet from me with the internationals taking place. Looking at something a bit later but would like to see line ups first. Will hopefully get it up a good half hour before kick off if indeed I do take anything.
Looking ahead to the weekend I already have my eye on something. Though the internationals are here, some will be ecstatic to see the return of Australia’s A-League. Those that know this league will tell you its goals galore, and though teams might take some time to get going, I’m hoping my favourite side from last year won’t.
Melbourne City have had a major revamp over the summer losing perhaps the leagues best player last season in Aaron Mooy who returned to Manchester City. They do however still have Bruno Fornaroli who when I saw play, reminded me of a Suarez/Aguero type striker and flourished in his first season. Socceroo legend Tim Cahill also made the move from China so Melbourne will have plenty of focus on them this season, but the veteran will miss the opener as he’s in the Aussie squad and could feature this evening.
While I do think there will be goals, both sides will be without key men but depth should prevail in a league where generally, any side can score three or four on their day. BTTS & Over 2.5 pays 4/5 @ 365, with Melbourne priced around 8/11 to 4/5 to score twice. While its not bad, if Melbourne are to score twice you’d think Fornaroli will get one of them. He scored 24 goals in 27 games last season, and I’m taking him to start the campaign with a goal against a side who will be hoping to keep out the goals with only two clean sheets on home soil last season.

Don’t disagree with your great write up Jordan but as far as I’m aware the A-league has a salary cap so It’s difficult to know how teams have improved in the close season [win some players – loose some players]. If Perth have much the same team as last year – they struggled at the start of the season, then were just about unbeatable at home towards the end they sound like a good bet and the number of bbts and Melbourne to win bets/over 2.5mg that came up was unreal with Fornliaro scoring for fun but I do feel 10/11 and 4/5 a bit harsh by the bookies. South American WCQ and I know the whys and wherefores as to Ecuador’s favouritism with the bookies but Chile are just too big at 16/5.
Not that I’ll be taking them for the win but that price bumps up other markets dramatically – h/cap, team goals, etc.
Ecuador have won all five of their previous home games against Chile whilst hey have also won four of their last six home games, …Chile have lost five of their last seven away from home and that’s a concern but, again, only if your backing a Chile win.
It’s honours even over the course of the lsdtv6 H2Hs and again, not that it’s the home side whonget the win in all fixtures!
All that said, Chile have scored 2, 2 and 1 goal in the last 3 meetings and with players like Varga, Sanchez and Vidal, they will always carry a threat.

Anyone still up? If you are get on Columbian, sorry I mean Bolivian striker Pablo Escobar to score first against Brazil. Brazil should win this game comfortably but I can see Bolivia scoring. When Pablo takes a break from the cartel he tends to play as an attacking midfielder or second striker. He scored in Bolivia’s recent qualifier game against Peru. The veteran striker has scored 4 goals in 21 appearances for Bolivia but he has netted 93 goals in 146 appearances for his club team The Strongest. Anyway hes 50/1 for first goal with Bet365.
