OCT 6: MR FIXIT’S FIVE TO FOLLOW

DUNFERMILNE have been one of the most impressive sides in Scotland this season.

Jim Jefferies’ men have reacted better than most to tumbling out of the Premier League and have won six in a row after an opening-day defeat at Partick Thistle.

The Jags remain unbeaten but the Pars are hanging on to their coat-tails with a string of big wins. They’ve netted 15 in their last five league games for the loss of just two and should add another three points at Falkirk.

Steven Pressley’s Bairns have drawn their last three and haven’t won in five and once again there are mutterings of discontent from the stands. Dunfermline are x-x at 188bet.

Next look at Dunfermline’s Fife rivals Raith Rovers who should take care of bottom dogs Dumbarton at Stark’s Park.

Dumbarton’s mini revival – they won their first point against Hamilton – ended with a 5-0 thumping at Livingston last week and look out of their depth at this level.

Raith were the first side to avoid defeat against Partick last week and at home have won two and drawn two. They are x-x with 188bet.

Stay in Scotland for pick No.3 Queen of the South at Stranraer. It’s top v bottom with Queens having dropped just two points all season and facing a side that conceded six at home to East Five last week and 11 in their last three matches.

Move on to England and take West Brom who entertain a QPR side on a real downer after losing at home to West Ham on Monday.

West Brom have won their last two Premier League games at home to Reading and Everton without conceding and will fancy their chances against a QPR outfit who are bottom of the table with just two points from their first six. West Brom are x-x at 188bet.

Finally complete the line with an Everton side who continued their impressive start to the season with victory against Southampton last week.

Everton sit in a lofty second spot while Wigan have won just one of their opening six. Davie Moyes’ men have won three of their last four at the DW and with the likes of Marouane Fellaini and Nikica Jelavic in top form they should notch another victory.

David, they’re not alone, plenty of evens about. I think it’s a reaction to their defeat to Chelsea. It looks big but it’s no banker.

  4. David Paterson 5 years ago

Oh ano that, your wise words theres never a banker but theres a difference between chelsea an west ham. Thinkin a wee treble of arsenal, cardiff and fulham. Still unsure of fulham though.

Paul why are motherwell at the generous odds of about 6/4 at home to dundee utd? am i missing some injury crisis or something? are they worth adding to a docket this weekend?

Harry, it’s because bookies are waiting for United to get better. They are in a false position but I think Motherwell will win. Wouldn’t go too big on it though.

    sassulo oster double pays >3/1.
sassulo game is a top v bottom in serie b and oster hit 5 mid wk and its top playing 4th bottom, both away but both WILL win, av added verona west brom and arsenal for 5 £1 4folds and fiver acca. hope verona do the business tonight as all ev’s or above for decent return of £250+

Not too different from the five fold I put on earlier:
Everton, Chelsea, Raith, Queen of South, Gillingham. Was going to add West Brom but they’ve a few possible defensive injuries, so left them out. Will probably add them to another treble- Motherwell, West Brom, Dunfermline.

Robbie, Steven Reid and Billy Jones out for West Brom but they should score enough to beat QPR.

not conceded last 2 games too, one against everton. verona got bumped wi last minute winner for padova so stuck £3.30 that got bak of yankee on west brom, oster, arsenal, chelsea and sassulo -1 on asian handicap and cheeky 10p lucky 15 on arsenal west brom napoli celtic all to win 3-1, £3k+ if all come up haha
