GREG’S been on a cracking run and let’s hope he’s painting the town red on Tuesday night.

He’s had a good look at the card and has spotted some big prices for over 2.5 goals or both to score in the Johnstone Paints Trophy but for now he’s glossing over that tournament and looking at youth games. Watch out for markets coming on inplay.

Greg says: “Most teams will play weakened sides in the JP Trophy so I’d strongly advise against backing anyone to win – as always stick to goals. I’m unlikely to post a nap on Tuesday but going to put small stakes on the following.

Morton U-20s v Stranraer U-20s (7.45pm)

It’s a case here of how many Morton will win by – they have been hammering teams and should manage at least four against a Stranraer side who have been way out of their depth in this legaue.

To put it into perspective Stranraer travelled away to Queen’s Park last Monday and were thumped 5-0, two weeks previous to that Morton hammered Queen’s 5-1.

Prior to that the Blues lost 4-0 at Ayr and this is tougher so should be a four or five-goal demolition job.

Not sure what markets we’ll get for this so keep an eye out on it coming inplay!

First half goals total goals and potentially team goals if bet365 are feeling generous.

Over 1.5 FHG
Over 4.5 match goals
Over 3.5 Morton team goals

Brentford U-21s v Barnsley U21-s (2pm)

Another match I like the look of comes from the England Development League. I’ve been keeping an eye on Barnsley this season as they keep on getting beat and conceding goals. They travel south to Brentford and it looks like another tough ask the Yorkshire men.

Again not sure what markets will appear but over 2.5 match goals and over 2.5 team goals are the two I’ll be on.

12pm Ararat II v Mika II (Armenian First League)

This is a league I’ve been following for a little while, mainly thanks to people posting on this site. This is obviously a sensible stake bet due to unknowns compared to more familiar leagues.

Ararat last 4 (0-4, 2-1, 3-3, 2-2), Mika last 4 (1-2, 1-3, 3-3, 1-3). Both teams scoring and conceding plenty. I thought over 3.5 goals would be odds on, but surprisingly it’s 13/10 and that seems a good value bet to me. H2H is more mixed (last 4, 2-0, 2-2, 3-0, 2-3) with their meeting 8 weeks ago ending 2-0 to Mika.

I feel this still has value and therefore, small stakes and fingers crossed!

    Over 3.5 goals – 13/10

365 have set the GL at 5 (FHGL 2) Maybe slighty too high? Inplay would seem to be the best bet and hope for a quiet first 5 / 10 mins

  35. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Evening gents, was playing football tonight and ended up missing kick off by 20 mins so don’t even know what markets where set?

Was small stakes so no harm done to anyone who backed – surprised at the score given how both teams have performed this season but sometimes these matches can be unpredictable as you never really know who’s playing!

Hopefully put a NAP up for tomorrow and try and make it 6 NAPS on the spin

  36. Sean567 1 year ago

    Ah was -3 -3.5, 1.925
    Fh ah -1.5, 1.8
    Fh goalline was 2 greg

  37. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Cheers Sean, glad you didn’t have too bad night afteral
Your right about it being unpredictable

  38. Oozie 1 year ago

I backed Stranraer +3 at 11/10 in play as I saw the team lines.
Under 20’s games are so unpredictable.
Recently Morton had players coming back from injury, Tidser, McKee, O’Ware, Russell and others, and were played in these matches to get game time.
Hence the reason they are top of the League and scoring for fun.
Even the loan boy from Swansea Samuel, who got two against Motherwell in the cup played a half one night.
So if first team players are getting a run out against young boys, it’s an advantage.
Not sure the ruling of how many over 20’s you can play.
Anyway, most of these guys are back in the 16 on a Saturday now, so not playing in the 20’s.
It was almost all under 20’s tonight, that’s why I backed Stranraer +3

    PS. I’m a Morton man. :-)

Keep the tips coming Greg, you have been doing well mate.
Looking forward to the next one.

Oozie ur s bit late wi that am sure punters on here wlda preferred to read that before the game started not after it finishes.

  40. Oozie 1 year ago

Sorry Jim, I only checked the teams on twitter when picking my boy up from training right on kick off.
Most people would have punted before then or I would have.
I only backed Stranraer +3 a good bit into the game.
