IT was a 4.5pts win from three bets on Sunday – after my day got off to a Schalker.
Schalke never had a sniff as they crashed 3-0 at home to Cologne to beat what I felt was a solid double with PSG. Luckily the Basel over 1.5 goals Super Single came in at 4-5 as did the both to score treble at 11-2.
For those who keep banging on about goals bets I give you some credit. I like goals bets as well as WDW tips and feel duty bound to put up a bit of both due to the diversity of the site visitors.
In the past I would have been tempted by Swiss leaders Basel to win at basement boys Zurich at 11-10 but took the shorter odds and that was the correct decision as it finished 2-2.
Greg Browning – who had another good day – has been praising my btts trebles so I must be doing something right! But he wants me to do goals bet only.
I followed Saturday’s 11-2 winner with another thanks to games at Palermo, Lorient and Bayern Munich. Over the weekend I recommended 20 teams to score and the only one that failed was Colchester who had been on an incredible scoring streak.
The advised accas are in profit thanks to those 11-2 winners and the Super Single shows just a 1pt loss after those two West Ham punts on Saturday.
It’s a pretty quiet week running up to the vital Euro 2016 qualifiers starting on Thursday. There are some lower-league matches and a few in Scandinavia and having spent some time looking at the card I’ve decided against putting up a tip.
Some teams have caught my eye such as RoPS at Mariehamm. RoPS can go two points clear at the top of the Finnish league with a win as they chase a first Champions League spot.
They have won four of their last five but face a marathon trip to Mariehamm where they’ve been victorious on only one of their nine previous visits. Form says RoPS, h2h says Mariehamm. I won’t lie and claim I’m a Finnish football expert so I’ll leave this one alone.
I had a quick look at the Racing Post while out with the dug and they’re tipping Paderborn at Duisburg. They have an excellent write-up that points out some serious injury woes for Duisburg. But Paderborn’s away record is questioned and I’m not comfortable putting up a tip just because I’ve seen it in the RP.
On this site there have been plenty of tips for teams such as Silkeborg at home to Naestved, Dijon goals at Tours and Trapani at home to Perugia.
I only have a limited time for research and focus on the UK senior leagues and top European leagues so wouldn’t tend to consider these matches. I might have a personal bet on RoPS and Paderborn but I’m not confident enough to put them up as tips.
Tuesday’s card is dominated by the dreaded JP Trophy as well as National League matches and Welsh games. Any advance tips on these will be appreciated plus team news for JP ties – I won’t tip anything in that tournament without some firm information.
