OCT 4: THE SAINT GREG BROWNING’S GOALS TIPS

GregBrowning

IT was a super Saturday for Greg Browning – his St Johnstone side won 5-1. And his tips didn’t do too badly either.

His over 2.5 goals nap was a sensational winner as Peterborough mauled Millwall 5-3 and four of the six over 2.5 goals tips he posted came up.

Greg says: “I’ve had a good look through Sunday’s card and picked a nap and NB double.”

Arsenal v Man United (4pm)

Defensively strong is a term you can’t associate with these two and with both sides pose players who can score and create. I see no reason why we won’t see goals here today.

Stats can only take you so far, sometimes you have to look at the match on a separate basis and go with your gut feeling. Like I said both sides have enough quality to find the net against leaky defences and with seven of the last nine seeing both teams score it bodes well for goals today.

Over 2.5 match goals 5-6 (Betfair) (NAP)

For my NB double all four teams are in about the goals this season and both have extremely strong H2H with BTTS scoring in both matches likely. That should lead us to goals.

Young Boys v Grasshopper (12.45pm)
Rapid Vienna v Red Bull Salzburg (3.30pm)

Over 2.5 match goals double 6-4 (NB)

    Great tipping Greg

Evening Greg – looked at every aspect ahead of Utd’s trip down South and team goals for Utd are tempting but just too much risk…your Over 2.5 is about spot on and I’ll be on that but also really fancy a sneaky extra – Over 3.5 pays 2/1…good luck pal.

  3. Dave 1 year ago

The double looks good , was looking at they games myself . The young bouts game could very well be over 3.5 goals with the last 2 games between the sides finishing 2-2 and both teams have been scoring a lot .

I’m personally on a double of young boys to win and both to score and Basel win both to score . Maybe also do a win and score heinze as 3 correct usually doubles your stake .

Some key facts for the Arsenal match tomorrow.

    Key Facts

    * Arsenal have seen more than 2.5 goals in only 1 of their last 7 home league fixtures
    * Man Utd have seen more than 2.5 goals in 4 of their last 7 away fixtures
    * Only 2 of the last 6 meetings between these two sides have seen more than 2.5 goals
    * 2 of the last 5 meetings in London have seen more than 2.5 goals
    * 7 of the last 9 meetings have seen BTTS
    * 5 of the last 7 meetings in London have seen BTTS

Gotta say, I prefer BTTS @4/6, based on recent history and form.

This could be a free stake nap if you use the in play risk free bet offer :)

  6. Jordan 1 year ago

Few of my own key facts. Two midfielders likely to be playing in our back four (Blind and Valencia or Blind and Young). Koscielny out for Arsenal. Gabriel likely to be the man to step in who was shocking against Olympiakos. Per Mertesacker has the pace of a snail which will be fun to see on the counter with Depay and Martial. We have conceded two goals in our last two away games against Southampton and Swansea, Arsenal clearly have the better attack over those two and their pace with Sanchez and Walcott will cause us all sorts of problems. Take it from a United fan. I can honestly see both teams scoring twice here. We won against Wolfsburg midweek but were on the back foot for the last 20 minutes and they were lucky not to get a point. Don’t need to say much about Arsenals game against the Greeks although one error from Ospina cost them. BTTS so that means two goals, I’ll take the extra goal for a .20 better price as I got it @ 43/50 @ 888 midweek. Still available at Marathon.

Good luck Greg. Completely agree with this.

  7. Ryan Allan 1 year ago

It’s a tough one to call Jordan.

Arsenal are a different team in the PL than they are in Europe so I wouldn’t read too much into that game against Olympiakos.

Gabriel has been solid in most of the games he’s played while I wouldn’t get too excited about your kids up front just yet.

I fancy a 1.1 draw so that would mean no to the overs bet. I’m not saying it’s a bad selection, only that the recent meetings between these two sides have not really delivered in terms of goals. Only 2 of the last 6 went over.

Still, both sides are pretty leaky at the back of late, and the PL is a bit mad at the moment so there is a good chance on current form that it will go over.

I prefer BTTS but let’s see. Good luck for the match. I hope it’s a belter and that it does indeed go over 2.5 goals.

So many good games tomorrow – Ajax v PSV, Bayern v Dortmund, Everton v liverpool, Arsenal v Man Utd, Milan v Napoli, Psg v Marseille.

    Should be a great day.

Good luck with the bets Greg. Wasn’t meaning to dig, only providing my own thoughts on the match.

  8. Jordan 1 year ago

I always tend to take form over years of h2h though bud and recent form shows defensive struggles. Leicester scored twice at home against them but could have been 3 or 4. There’s too much attack on the pitch the over weighs the defence in my eyes on both sides. Big game but just think it’ll be a high scorer. Even think we could have a goal for each side in the first half.

  9. Ryan Allan 1 year ago

I think the H2H record seems to be more relevant in big matches between major rivals (such as this) but you are certainly right in saying that recent form suggests it is likely to go over.

I’m looking forward to my free in play bet although sadly it’s only 25 euros in Spain!

Not sure what to do with it mind.

  10. maccathered 1 year ago

as good a tipster as you are greg arenal v man u over 2.5 goal can’t see it to be fair tight game 1 nil either way i reckon.

  11. MaccLad2011 1 year ago

The Comeon offer for the Ars -v-Man U game promises an extra £5 per goal IF and only IF your qualifying bet wins.

    – Has a minimum stake of £25
    – Has a minimum odds of 1.75
    – Is a pre-match single bet on Arsenal v Man Utd

Same game and as you all read, Bet365 has an offer on too. There must be possibilities, there.

  16. riquelme5 1 year ago

You don’t fancy the Merseyside Derby being btts? Both teams leaking a few goals recently but have enough in attack.

  17. Ryan Allan 1 year ago

Imagine using facts and stats to justify selections…what a moron I must be!

  18. luke 1 year ago

im an arsenal fan and i think greg is right. there will be plenty of goals in this game. our defence is still shaky. leicster put 2 past us, should have been more. utd wont come and attack straight away they will play the waiting game. But if arsenal get an early goal then the game will open up and i can see at least 4 goals being scored.
keep up the good work greg.

  19. Ryan Allan 1 year ago

It could easily be a high scoring game. I’m going for BTTS @4/6, feel it’s a little more secure as I wouldn’t be surprised to see it finish 1.1

Should be a good game at least.

  20. mase 1 year ago

Sunderland r my new bogey team- twice this year, along with Spurs!
I’m on with two 5-1 triples after reading the comments above

    1) arse/utd ov.2.25, Bayern -0.75, Ajax v PSV ov. 2.75

    2) Young boys ov. 2.75, Gen ov 2.50, Evert- Liverpool ov. 2.25

I forgot the Vienna one and though it was the genk game once I got to the bookies! Laid low stakes so never mind!

Good luck Liverpool in the derby! Hoping goals galore for all!

  21. Mr H 1 year ago

Greg I’m going too take a different take on your 3 selections for a low stakes high odds treble. Both teams too score in the 1st half at 60/1 :)

    Comfortable Celtic win today?

  26. Mr H 1 year ago

Greg you never know with Celtic these days but I like the starting11 today. Glad too see Rogic,Commons and Forrest starting behind Griffiths. With janko and izaguirre at fullback there will be plenty attacking impetus on both flanks so it should in theory be a good attacking display with plenty chances created. Celtic 4-1 for me

Greg, good start for you – what was it you said about sticking to goals bets.
Can’t believe the Schalke result. They looked one of the best bets on the coupon.
Over 2.5 match goals would have come in though.

Great tipping Greg, going out for dinner now on your tips :) Thanks!

  62. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Brian that’s what I kike to hear mate, people using profit to treat themselves :)

It can be swings and round abouts sometimes but more often than not I’ll back over 2.5 goals v BTTS – mainly as you are relying on both teams having their shooting boots on for BTTS while over 2.5 one team can bring it in – Arsenal today for example!

  71. cooldude 1 year ago

Jordan I fancy btts in all three of tonights mls games. can I have your opinion

  72. Cantona 1 year ago

Thanks a lot Greg, gave me the confidence to go with O2.5 on the Bet365 offer. Not the best way for the goals to go for me, and the in-play 50 on Mata AGS was never anything to get excited about unfortunately.

  73. Greg Browning 1 year ago

cooldude, I used to but it’s a all down to time mate, just don’t have the time! Happy to focus on the English Scottish and European leagues!

Jordan and co do a terrfic job on the MLS and have a lot of success

  74. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Haha, hadn’t seen your comment Jordan when I said Jordan and co do a terrifc job! :)

That’s what the site shkukd be all about – ideally we’d have experts on certain leagues and I’m sure when the site changes happen that can be possible!

  75. Jordan 1 year ago

Cooldude all honesty mate I’m done for the MLS this week. Seattle Over 1.5 Team Goals might be worth a go but not enough confidence to tip with a stake of my own mate.

Haha cheers Greg. It’s a good league for good attacking and less than admirable defending.

  77. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Hi Jim, hope tour doing well mate

I can 100% assure you Sir Tonny Wright of Perth will not leave St Johnstone FC to go to Dundee United

It’s true that United are interested – genuinely think the Thompson family must be glue sniffers if they think he’ll leave us for them, haha!

The only place the big man is going in England :) hopefully not for a while though :)

At last I won again. I’m converted. Goal line it is… only problem is the bookie near me don’t do btts bets. Only Asian handicap and goal line, first half. Bit limited in Laos -they use a Thai betting website with poorer odds than 365! Better than me having an account, that would be deadly. Thank you for the tips Greg.
