IT was a mixed bag last night but I was pleased the treble came up as it's one of my bread and butter bets and has been doing well in recent weeks.
Yesterday it was Barcelona, Chelsea and Valenica and tonight I'm sticking to the Champions League with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Schalke.
I was unlucky with my Super Single as Leeds conceded a late equaliser and I'm going for another decent price in PSG who travel to Porto. PSG are beginning to look good and of course this is the stage their super Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic loves.
Last night I also hit the bar with btts which was disappointing with the number of goals in the Championship. I picked four from that division plus Notts County v Stevenage and the only side that failed to score was Huddersfield. A fourfold earned a slight profit from the perm and it's back on a fivefold tonight.
There aren't as many games to choose so it's slightly random. I really fancy Man City v Dortmund and hope Zenit v Milan also produces. But I'm adding the three English games to complete the line.

Alex, just checked with admin and I had my wires crossed. Apparently they told me nothing of the sort but dealing with a lot of contests just now. There were several trebles correct and winners will be emailed and revealed when this week’s post is put up. I have malaga and Milan to score 2+ goals with man city madrid and schalke all to score both halves.just checked and madrid already in.

Johnt, I can say and you can look back at the articles on the site if you want to see. I definitely turned a profit last season wth several five out of fives. This season I’m probably breaking even. I seem to have the bar an awful lot with four out of five but as has been said one wrong usually provides a profit. 4 from 5 means doing five fourfolds and one accumulator instead of one accumulator. You get one wrong you at least get your money back but a bit more depending on the odds.

i dont really get it either. I think its placing a few bets rather having a 6 team accumilator doing a double, treble, 4x & 5x. So u basically do say 6 bets to cover ur self. So if all 6 come in u. win big but if 4 come in, u will lose a couple and win a couple. Not really sure but I think its something like that
Robbie, you can do small perms and big perms. For example I like to perm five draws and I do 10 trebles, five fourfolds and one fivefold. This is 16 bets. If you stake £1 x 16 and three come you will win about £35, for four about £260.
To be honest if he picks 6 then I tend to pick 3 of them, tends to work ok to be honest

Johnt, as Robbie says if you are taking teams at good ods it’s worth a look. When you a place a bet online you can usually just tick a box offering number of selections and it will tell you how many bets and in shops it’s easier too with the quickslip coupons.
Oh. Right I’m with u. Am I right in saying there isn’t much point perming if the odds are to short e.g 5 games 1/2
Robbie, that’s right unless for some reason you were perming say from 8 from 9 at 1-2 and a ninefold would still give you a profit. Also remember you can part perm for example doing fivefolds from sevenfolds (21 bets) and nothing else and you can use different stakes, for example five x £5 fourfold and a £10 fivefold.

Johnt, last night’s treble paid just over 5-2 and tonight’s is looking good at just over 2-1. That will be three in four days so not bad for a line that is definitely one of the most important to get up.

Johnt, a bet is also known as line, “putting a line one”. I don’t have a system but do a lot of research. Tonight’s btts was a bit random because I said I threw in all three English games because there wasn’t much on but two let me down. Should have concentrated more on the Champions League because it was two out of two there.

Dave, the over 1.5 is a decent bet as is over 0.5 if you have a big enough stake.

I tend to go for the over 1.5, how do u pick ur games? I tend to pick teams that are odds on, and place the bet when over 1.5 is around 1/4 only trouble is I need a big stake – wins often but when u do lose its a big hit cos of the stake. Any advice?
Robbie, the only advice I have is to look at recent results. Avoid games where one or both sides keep a lot of clean sheets and try to find teams who score plenty to have a better chance of bringing this bet up. Another bet I like is a game to have a goal in both halves. Coral have a coupon in their shops and others do it online.
You can do too many bets ya know.
A mate of mine just won 4k thanks to a last kick of the game from Ramsay for over 3.5 goals in the Arsenal game….jammy dosent even come close

Same as, my stakes are pretty small unless i’m doing a line only at weekends, bristol rovers let me down but as Mr F says there was not much on except in the champions league but you can never be sure how these games go
Happy with tonight. Only bets I done were £100 on Ronaldo first goal and £100 last goal at 7/2. £200 returned £900. Nice wee profit of 7 big ones.

Danny, two of those are on my treble with Bruges and your others look OK. Problem as usual with Europa League is keeping track of those teams fielding weakened sides. I won’t be staking too much to be honest.
