ANDY MURRAY continues his push for the world No.1 spot when he faces John Isner in the Austrian Open quarter-finals today.
The Scot had to fight back from a set down to get past Gilles Simon in their last-16 battle yesterday and now has to deal with the power serves of American giant Isner.
Murray has won all six of the pair's previous meetings and is just 1-6 at William Hill to make the semis. Both his matches in Vienna this week have gone to three sets and the British No.1 to win 2-1 again pays a hefty 4-1 at bet365.

Looking at Saints match, i agree it will be closer than the odds suggest, although being the cautious guy i am, i would hesitate to go for a Gloucester straight win. Handicap looks worth small stakes though. 5 changes each and some players looking to impress before the internationals means it could be a difficult game to call. I do feel Gloucester will put some points on the board so i will back:

Gloucester to reach 20 points @2.5 (generous i feel)

The line on the Gloucester v Northampton spread is all over the place. Was -8, then-7, now-9. Like the look of your bets for this one, like you say can see Glos getting a few points on the board. Dylan Hartley back on the bench might give Northampton a bit of a kick. Glos on a three match winning run though. Gonna give the spread and ML ago. Too good to resist.

My initial thoughts on a couple of others:
Otago straight win @1.4 – nothing glamorous there i just feel they will pull it out the bag in front of their crowd.
Ulster v Munster – watching the match last week, you could see the emotion in the way Munster played, managing to get the impressive win against a decent Glasgow side, shipping 3 tries after getting the red. Not so much stats, but my gut is telling me they will be just as pumped up for this match and really go for it. Initial thought is to back:
Munster over 1.5 team tries @2.25 or Munster to reach 20 points @3.5.

It’s a tough one to call with so many from both teams out for the Ireland v NZ match. You can definitely see how the death of Foley has spured them on. Will be an interesting match up, quite tight would be my prediction.

Early thoughts:
Had some time this morning to look ahead at tonight’s games, I’ve been looking at LA Lakers @ Utah Jazz.
Lakers have made a good start, beating the Rockets at home in their opener… some may have been surprised by this, but I wasn’t. The Rockets are soft, play with 0 defence and are one of the most inconsistent let down teams in the NBA.
Tonight is a whole different ball game, Utah is a very tough place to come and the Jazz defence will lock down the Lakers.
Taking a look at last season’s games (all we have to go by at this stage) Lakers we’re blown out twice in Utah, making just 75 and 82 points. I do expect this Lakers team to struggle offensively again tonight.
I’m undecided what to take yet.. all though – Utah Jazz -4 & Under 209 Double @ Evens – is tempting.
All though I may find something else to double Jazz -4 with…… just a lean at the mo!
Like it. Maybe Pacers on the ML? Think they could be a force in the East this year.
