OCT 27: THE SAINT GREG BROWNING’S GOALS TIPS

GregBrowning

GREG didn’t have a Nap or NB on Monday but his goals advice on the Belgian Under-21 games was spot on.

It may be the dreaded Capital One Cup tonight but he’s picked out two ties he fancies for goals.

Here are his tips and he’ll add reasoning later.

Stoke v Chelsea

Back over 2.5 match goals 1-1 (William Hill) (NB)

Sheffield Wed v Arsenal

Back both teams to score 4-5 (bet365) (NB)

  3. Juangoal 1 year ago

  4. maccathered 1 year ago

going to take the chelsea bet but leave the arsenal bet out, arsenal wont change the back four for tonight and they are very good at the back it will take some for wednsday to score.

    Great tips Greg!

Maybe it’s due to seeing my team’s giant killing over the last couple of years, but I am very wary about betting on cup games. May leave these alone, or put v small stakes on. Not sure yet.

Both look solid bets but I wud advise waitin for line ups tonight gents b4 partin with ur cash! I fancy Everton to win later with both teams scoring @23/10 also Everton v Norwich and hull v leister in a bts double @2/1 Boylesports but again I will b waitin for team news good luck all

Afternoon gents, knew this wouldn’t be eveyones cup of tea tonight, escpailly before team news but given how awful Chelsea have been defensively goals are possible! aesenal have kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 league cup matches and this comp usually throws up surprises

    NAP is Chelsea

  9. bigbucks 1 year ago

Defiantly waiting for team news. Good call Wattie.
These games go into extra time so, its possible teams could get a late ish goal and sit back jose style. teamscould messing up over 2.5 for chel and if arsenal start debuchey.mertsaker.chambers and Gibbs.
Thats enough to see out a shef u attack.
Similar case for ivannovic terry and baba. With obi sat in front.
Depending on team news!! Stoke and diouf may be worth a punt. His mum recenlty died and had been hiven time off

Arsenal have scored 10 and conceded 1 (big deflection) in last 4 games, so over 2.5 mgs is a better shout IMO

  11. luke 1 year ago

being an arsenal fan im keen to see the line up. if its the same team that played spurs in the previous round then i can see arsenal scoring 2/3 tonight. i know that sheff wed are going to rotate the team and the manager has said that there is only a 10% chance that his team can win, that news fills me with confidence that he will make a load of changes, therefore i cant see sheff wed scoring, but it only takes a freak deflection or a pen for them to score. i will be on arsenal -1 and also arsenal to score 2+ tonight.

luke, Wednesday making changes for sure so Arsenal look a good bet and I’m thinking Arsenal 2+ or over 2.5 match goals. Tips be up soon.

  12. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Bob -‘did look at over 2.5 but has been cut to 4/7

  13. 02ba 1 year ago

I’m following the goals trend tonight. Going for arsenal 3+
    Chelsea 2+ around 4/1 double.
Iv done a small side bet of arsenal 4+ and Chelsea 3+ double.

  14. Bob H 1 year ago

    Over 2.5 mgs in Greg’s 2 games (double) pays 2/1 @ PP
Good Luck with any league cup bets

  15. Kevin 1 year ago

Does anyone do both teams to score in both halves?

Was going to do Arsenal, but can’t see them conceding in both.

  16. THFourteen 1 year ago

    Lanciano – Salernitana

This looks decent for an under 2.5 goals tip perhaps

Karl Cherry, that’s the way to look at it.
Greg puts up suggestions – if you like them back them and if you don’t let’s just see how they go.
Personally I like Arsenal but would hold off on the Chelsea game until seeing the team.

Greg Surprised you’ve not had St Johnstone as a pick and nap to beat Morton

malcolm, he doesn’t like putting up his own side – and I can understand why.

Good luck with yours Greg…reckon the Sheff Weds v Arsenal game has goals all over it – Over 3.5 has appeal at 6/4.

Couple of teams from my neck of the woods interest me tonight:

Salford City take on Matlock and the visitors have lost their last 2 against the 2nd and 4th bottom sides as opposed to Salford whose form is solid.

Rammy Utd travel to Buxton and although Buxton have had a poor couple of weeks, they should restore some order against the basement club.

I’ll be taking Salford and Buxton as a 1.5+ team goals double…pays just over evens.

    Good luck pal.

Sheffw v arsenal BTS is 9/4at Ladbrokes if anybody is interested…I’m not sure on tonight’s game I’ll have a look soon.

    Over 2.5 goals double – Cesena + Avellino @ 3/1

Seria B isn’t renowned for high scoring matches but this double has a chance.

a word of warning to arsenal backers , theyve had a tough week and by no means are going to be frothing with excitement over a rainy tuesday night trip to sheffield to perform in a micky mouse competiton

i dont see them killing themselves and wednesday will be more than happy to defend and try and pull a robbery off

to me the game has unpredictablity written all over it and thats why i would advise staying clear

      JJY, some team news.
Not saw Arsenal team yet but Stoke and Chelsea full strength.
Everton fairly strong and Lukaku looks good for first scorer.
Vardy and Mahrez on the bench for Leicester.

  33. Tommy 1 year ago

I had both teams to score in every UK cup game. 8/1 – I would have put my mortgage on the fact it would be Arsenal who let me down.
Oh well, only consolation is the fact I’m a spurs fan :)

  34. Dreamkiller 1 year ago

Well that was a poor evening.

Avoiding the carling cup tomorrow. Poisoned chalice.

Might go Serie A or just sit this one out.

The League Cup is referred to as a Mickey Mouse competition yet it it is one of only four trophies that Arsenal can win (maybe five if you count a potential Europa League campaign). I had Arsebal to score over 1.5 goals in a double but would prefer to just admit I was wrong rather than slag off the competition itself.

We’ve already won the Emirates cup, charity shield and premier league Asia trophy I’ll have you know.
