NFL week eight kicks off with a Thursday night showdown between the bottom two in the AFC South as Jacksonville Jaguars head to Tennessee Titans.
Jaguars coach Gus Bradley is feeling the heat after his side's ropey start to the season, with just two wins in six games, and they're 28-19 outsiders at Marathonbet to land a much-needed victory tonight.
The Titans have fared slightly better so far, with a 3-4 record, and will hope the league's third top rusher – DeMarco Murray on 633 yards – can inspire them to a win which pays 4-7 at the likes of Coral and bet365.
On the tennis front Andy Murray began his Erste Bank Open campaign in Vienna with a three-set win over Martin Klizan yesterday and now faces Gilles Simon.

Big first card in the NBA tonight but the only team I’d back outright are the Boston Celtics. Very difficult the first few games without knowing what minutes players will get, but I’m pretty sure Jeremy Lin will get his prop as I’ve posted on the old thread. Boston Celtics -4 pays 2/7 @ 365 and for a bank builder its the only one I’d take with fair confidence. Tempted to add the 76ers +17 at home to my OKC Thunder minus Kevin Durant now. They are still huge favourites but for me Russel Westbrook can’t do it alone and the OKC will finish in their worst position in a while. The double pays 0.60/1 @ 365 but I can’t find a safe enough third pick so sticking with Lin.
Tomorrows NFL is an AFC South Division game so should be hotly contested with it still wide open as we go into week 8. The Titans have 18 TD’s on the season and bell cow DeMarco Murray has 7 of them. You can almost guarantee he will find the endzone against the Jags who have given up 7 TD’s to running backs this season which ranks them in the top 10, the most being 11.

No worries mate. Any thoughts on the Friday rugby fixtures. Gonna put a double up in a minute but thought Gloucester look good value at +7 or even to win. Their away form is pretty decent, beating Sale and drawing with Exeter. Might be tempted!
Close but no cigar last night from Lin with him getting 21 of 23 points or assists needed. The Nets eventually got blown out in the third so his time was limited by the end. Unlike previous seasons though I’m going to back him again next game as more often than not my player picks would lose one game then win the next, and with him not reaching his target, his total may come down. The Celtics covered the -4 I said I’d take (Barely) and the very short double would have cashed but I would have liked a third selection for a bet if it was there.

Tonight I’m taking the Spurs after their opening victory in Oakland against the Warriors. The Kings are on b2b nights after a road win in Phoenix, a let down spot if you ask me. The Spurs were up 18 at the half in Oakland and with a rest they shouldn’t have too much problems against the Kings who have a new coach. I wouldn’t take too much notice of their win last night as the Suns are still a very young team. Greg Popovich is the best coach in the league for me and should keep Cousins under wraps.

As above, I narrowed my selections down from 5 to 1 and guess which one lost!?! ?
De Colo had a surprisingly quiet game and only managed 20 mins on court. Langford almost doubled his allocated points totals and he’s definatley one to look out for….. he seems to be carrying this Unics team on his very large shoulders atm.

NFL Thursday
Decent weekend last weekend with the late acca saving the day for the second week running think I should double stakes on late games.
Just finished the weekend studies as it stands ill be looking at saints with a start, Carolina with a start and and Oakland or Houston in the early games. San Diego and green Bay with their starts in late games though without seeing team news it’s hard to go with handicaps at this stage.
On to tonight’s game and as dire and low scoring as the Arizona v Seattle game was on Monday this game could be worse. Then I saw @jordan tip of Murray anytime and I been looking at the Murray wincast of 7/4. So am going just bet tonight on demarco Murray as he is Titans best chance of winning as jags aint great stopping run and mariota is too inconsistent to call so if I was qb tonight and had Murray behind I’d just hand it off all night so 100 yards could be on
