OCT 24: THE SAINT GREG BROWNING’S GOALS TIPS

GregBrowning

GREG was running up the white flag yesterday as White Star and Evian failed to produce the goods but he’s back with more goals bets for Saturday.

He has picked out four games from English League One and Two and will put reasoning later.

Greg’s Goal Getters

Chesterfield v Scunthorpe – over 2.5 match goals 17-20
Peterborough v Doncaster over 2.5 match goals 5-6
Morecambe v Leyton Orient – over 2.5 match goals 8-11
Wycombe v Carlisle – both teams to score 3-4

Morecambe v Leyton Orient

It’s been a fantastic October for the Lankashire side – 4 wins on the spin against some good opposition and 12 goals scored. Ten of their last 12 matches have seen over 3 or more goals scored and home fans have been treated 29 goals in the last 6 matches (15 for, 12 against).

They’ll fancy their chances of scoring today against an Orient side who have failed to keep a clean sheet in 8 (all 8 saw both teams score). They’ve managed to find the net in 6 of their 7 away matches and should do so again here against gung-ho Morecambe.

Given Morecambe’s ability to find the net and a lack of a clean sheet we should see goals here with both sides doing their bit.

Back over 2.5 Match goals 8-11 (Boylesports) (NAP)

Wycombe v Carlisle

While some clubs have prospered in October one who haven’t are Wycombe! Having suffered just one defeat in their opening 11 games they were flying high at the top end of the table, fast forward a few weeks and the wheels have fallen the title challenge.

Four defeats on the spin against average opposition and a 2-0 home defeat inflicted by basement boys Newport won’t have helped morale. They welcome a Carlisle side who have found the net in 8 of their 9 away matches this season with all 8 seeing both teams score. It’s a tough match to call in terms of finding a winner but both teams to score looks the best bet here with Wycombe improving on recent results.

Back Both Teams to Score to 3-4 (BetVictor) (NB)

Over 2.5 goals double

Chesterfield v Scunthorpe
Peterborough v Doncaster
Pays 2-1

Scottish over 2.5 goals treble

Dundee v Kilmarnock
Dunfermline v Forfar
Stenhousemuir v Ayr
Pays just under 3-1

They welcome a Carlise side who have found the net in 8 of their 9 away matches this season! With all 8 seeing both teams score! It’s a tough match to call in terms of finding a winner but both teams to score looks the best bet here with Wycombe improving on recent results

    Howdy

my goals bets today & tomorrow are

    Dundee v Kilmarnock BTTS 1 1.73 Ladbrokes
Jackson Irvine (Ross County) FGS 1 26 McBookie
Inverness v St Johnstone BTTS 1 1.92 McBookie
    Dunf/Forf BTTS, PHead/Aird BTTS, Stran/Cowd +2.5, Sten/Ayr +2.5 4(4) 7.11 Boylesports
    Annan Athletic(W/BTTS) v Berwick Rangers 1 3.65 888Sport
    Elgin v Spartans BTTS 1 1.93 888Sport
Dedryck Boyata FGS 1 31 Betbright
Saint Mirren (+0.5 team goals) v Rangers 1 1.87 Coral
Lee Wallace FGS 1 26 McBookie

Elgin v Spartans price still avaialble and drifting in other places. You can get 10/11 with others. Baffles me considering Elgin’s Scottish Cup form v non-league sides although I profess to knowing little about Spartans tbf

    Good luck

I have watched wycombe a few times recently as my local team and id be careful backing them. They’ve had a bad month but that follows the loss of harriman and hayes who are hopefully back today. Plus pierre should be back in defence today.

Generally wycombe are tight at home. Not recently I know but prior to October. So I won’t be backing this but best of luck to those that are!

HullShaker, not a bad day for Greg and his team scored a last-minute winner.

ha ha yeh a slight break might be needed. Unlucky again Greg. Brutal set of results. Can hopefully recover some cash on the Manchester derby.

  20. Gunner 1 year ago

Well done on the NB and double though. Can’t complain about 2 out of 4!

  21. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Hail the Wycombe and the saints :)

Posted 4 bets last night for today

    3 won

Sod’s law the match I selected for the NAP was the one that fell short

A winning NB and a 2/1 double – would have preferred the NAP won but the thats the way it goes sometimes!

  22. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Gunner I’m assuming your original message was before you saw Wycombe had scored!

Like I said, posted 4 matches last night for people to follow today! 3 of them won!

  23. Gunner 1 year ago

Yeh sorry mate was looking at today’s picks including the Scottish treble. Well done man-not a bad day at all!

Hull Shaker, Al, pistol, cheers gents! Al, pint of Jack Daniles please, haha!

Cheers Mr F, was happy that Wycombe finally scored and even happier when I heard we had a last minute penalty, and scored it!

    Good win for the bankies
