IT’S a busy card on Tuesday with Champions League action dominating but there’s plenty of league action to look at as well.

Greg has picked out his goals bets and will put up his reasoning in the morning.

He says: Monday wasn’t a bad night for goals in the Belgium games – small stakes and a small profit.”

Tuesday’s tips

Peterborough v Wigan

If you have followed the Posh for goals this season you won’t have been disappointed – 12 of their last 13 matches have seen both teams score and if it wasn’t for a missed penalty on Saturday it would have been the 6th game in 7 where they have netted at least two.

They welcome an in-form Wigan side who have suffered just 1 defeat in 9 and who have scored 2 or more in 7 of those matches. They battered 5 goals past Colchester on Saturday and given Peterborough’s inability to keep a clean sheet it’s hard not seeing them score tonight.

Back over 2.5 match goals 4-5 (Skybet) (NAP)

Sheffield Utd v Fleetwood

It’s been a goalfest this season in United’s home games, they have no trouble finding the net but struggle to keep clean sheets. Fleetwood travel here in great heart after beating Burton 4-0 in their new manager’s first game. Again, both teams to score is likely and that should lead us to goals.

Back over 2.5 match goals 5-6 (Boylesports) (NB)

Luton v Orient

Nothing fancy here – both teams scoring and conceding. The Hatters have seen both teams score in 12 of their last 13 matches! Orient are 8 from their last 9.

Back both teams to score 8-11. Will also be on goals at Loftus Road for QPR v Sheffield Wednesday at 8-11.

Peterborough v Wigan over 2.5 match goals 4-5 NAP
Sheffield United v Fleetwood over 2.5 match goals 5-6 NB
QPR v Sheffield Wednesday over 2.5 match goals 19-20
Luton v Leyton Orient both teams to score 8-11

As well as Peterbrough and Sheffield Utd games I like the look of Swindon v Oldham both teams to score.
Swindon btts in 8 out of 13 league games and Oldham btts 11 out of 13 league games.
Swindon have conceded 2 goals in 4 out of 5 last home games and with their chairman in caretaker charge might look at Oldham over 1.5tgls also

  2. Jonnyric 2 years ago

I like the Peterborough, QPR and the BTTS picks … I’m including the York and Morecambe games for goals galore also … Cheers

  3. Jim 2 years ago

Gillingham pretty good for goals at home and Scunthorpre always concede 2 away. So probably Gills over 1.5 team goals. Brighton to beat Bristol not bad at 10/11 also. Greg’s Nap looks good so hopefully a run coming.

Unfair criticism of Greg won’t be tolerated.

damian a, here’s a thought. If you don’t think Greg is any good then pick your own.
He’s one of the best – no doubt about it.
New folk coming on here to criticise a cracking tipster before his matches have even started isn’t on.
It’s one reason we’re going down the membership road.

    • Will Hill 2 years ago

Hey Mr.F. I think your forthcoming project of membership only is a great idea. Why should people coattail someone who has done their own research and given up their own time to try and prompt helpful pointers and advice for free, then get lambasted when it goes pear shape. This is one of the reasons i don’t post any tips in here from the less fashionable leagues, but i do admit using other peoples valuable tips by doing my own research by backing theirs up before betting. Count me in for any membership scheme which can only benefit those who deserve it. Keep up the good work along with the other honest tipsters Paul….

  7. damian a 2 years ago

Gregs a brill tipster. But one tip per day. Thats a good tipster. U cant back 4 odds on singles and make money u know that.

  8. damian a 2 years ago

For the record i will be following greg tonight as i have been but i preffered him with his one nap of the day. I dont like the road.he is going down. Surely we are allowed to voice.our opinions?

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

damian a, there’s a way to do it.
I don’t think Greg’s changed anything – on a card this size he’s quite entitled to put up as many bets as he likes.
Also you’ll make money on a single at any price if it wins.

Damian, I’ll decide how many bets I post

More often than not I do only post 1 or two bets a day!

Some days I dont post at all!

Tonight I like a4 matches so ive posted them! Given a NAP and NB to give guidance on what I’m most confidant about! They are there to be used in what ever way you wish!

Don’t think a good tipster is determined on whether or not he gives one tip or 4 days, it gives people options on what they want to bet on but as he has said greg indicates his nap and nb but if he gives anything else more the better for us who has benefited from his goal market bets so keep them coming greg and also fixit

    Good morning gents,

Like to look of your nap today Greg. Thanks to you and mr fixit and everyone who puts in the time and effort to write tips.

For someone to surrgest there should only be one tip from Greg a day or this or that about the odds – what utter nonsense!! It begs believe, guess it just goes to show what idiots are about!! :-) no wonder the bookies do so well with people like these about! Haha.

I must however say thanks for providing me with some humer, that was hilarious! :-)

This is a great site and I for one will have membership if you’ll except me that is :-)

    Rangers over 2.5 tgs 8/15
    Valencia over 1.5 tgs 1/2
    Zenit over 1.5 tgs 10/11

  27. suppertipper 2 years ago

Greg keep up the good work best advice dont even reply to these negative comments.mr f very sad to hear you going membership road think most wont pay to join even tho I think you do great job

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

suppertipper, we have chosen do it for a number of reasons.
A massive amount of work goes into the site from various people and if punters don’t think the full package (which will have much more to it than there is now) is worth less than 10p a day that’s their call.
Every day I chuck a couple of quid into the local busker’s hat – for that I could buy 40 days on the new site.
You get nothing for 10p these days – and I’ve pushed really hard with admin to keep this annual fee as low as possible.
Also you can take a month and not renew and we’re offering a seven-day money-back guarantee as well.
Remember most if not all tips you see just now will remain free.

  28. Hollywood Rainham 2 years ago

Mr F. Will you be e-mailing us with details of how to sign up, or has Admin developed a separate page to login with.

      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

Lord Clegg, last time I say it – it’s a membership fee (incredibly good value for £35 a year).
It’s to fund additions and extra features and will also allow us to weed out those who don’t really want to be here.
Comments will be welcomed about the payment when full details are revealed soon.

    I`m all for the Membership
Hopefully it Will keep all the Numptys away

Mr F i have been following this site for a few years now and some great tipsters on here,
Some people do not realise the research that is involved in picking bets
I work and finding time to research bets is difficult
We all need the best advice and pointers we can get

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

Eddie, the research is unseen but as you say has to be several hours every day.

  31. Hollywood Rainham 2 years ago

I think the membership fee will pay for itself. Any ideas who the free bet will be with?

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

Hollywood Rainham, we’re waiting for confirmation – obviously we can’t give them numbers.
We want one for everyone and that could be hundreds or it could be thousands – we have no idea.

  32. Hollywood Rainham 2 years ago

Sorry Mr F. Changed e-mail details so hope that’s not caused a problem.

  33. RichB 2 years ago

Love the idea of paid memberships. It may stop people just coming on to bitch about and berate people who are good enough to let us have the benefit of their research.

If you don’t want to lose, don’t bet…. Simples

If suggestions are taken an iPhone and android app to access the forums would be great. Sometimes when I’m working and away from hell the imac I’m using my phone to look at the site and an app would make life so much easier.

    • Profile photo of Mr Fixit Author
      Mr Fixit 2 years ago

RichB, the new site will be mobile friendly unlike the current one – that’s another reason to change.
We’ve looked at an app but it’s too expensive to set up.
It’s something we’d like to invest in at some time down the line though.

  34. Leveller 2 years ago

    Well said Will Hill.

The info that you can gather alone from this site is so valuable. Not just team news but many of the people on here follow their team week in and week out. They know who’s playing well who’s not who was unlucky last week how they expect their team to set up against their next opponents. There is a lot of info on here that you just can’t get anywhere else.

As for Greg, you just keep them coming. You provide a sterling service as do so many on here.

Keep up the great work everyone.

  35. Hollywood Rainham 2 years ago

Many thanks. Now feel free to walk the Dug.

  36. brm 2 years ago

Mr. F sincerely i believe it is a good idea to pay because greg is an awesome tipstar, i sometimes think he fixes matches(Lol) but u got to carry everyone along. i follow ur tips from Nigeria and how i’m going to pay for tips i really dont know because one the currency issue, two exchange rate issue (a pound is equal to 250 naira or more), then here betting is pretty new so we dont get to bet singles it is a combo thing whereby if u pick 10 games and 9 shows up and one game mess up the bet you have lost all and we still operate on the decimal odds 1.5, 2.0 and co, so pleeeeeeeeease give priviledge for people outside Europe. and tell others not to call me names or abuse me for this, i ain’t a freeloader, wherever you are in the world see it as a priviledge by God and don’t call others less human names or comparisms, so if greg gives a four games tips and i follow 3 shows up and one went off i still lose unlike the other guys in a better enviroment who can cash out at half time or get paid for the games won…… That said i am having a good feeling today Lets win people

  37. Robert miller 2 years ago

It’s not a lot guys when you weigh things up. .even as a 58 year I’m paying around 22 quid to enter an event which takes me around 21 minutes to do now unfortunately…It rises up to 60 quid for more demanding events..plus travel costs .kit etc. .so if we do it on a pro rata basis .There’s no comparison..If you have a hobby you will pay for it..

  38. Jamie 2 years ago

Took all 4 today Greg £20 on for £213, I know you usually only do one or two but if 4 look good to you tonight and they come in I’ll be kicking myself for not getting on, hopefully they all hit the back of the net later!

Just noticed that 3 of my 5 over 2.5 goals are the same as Greg’s and he has taken Luton v Leyton Orient BTTS when I’ve got over 2.5 goals so feeling quite confident (already posted on the main thread)

    All over 2.5 goals:
    QPR v Sheff Weds 21/20
    Peterboro v Wigan 4/5
    Sheff Utd v Fleetwood 17/20
    Luton v Leyton Orient 4/5
    Morecambe v Crawley 4/5

Swindon btts in 8 out of 13 league games and Oldham btts 11 out of 13 league games.
