THE day started well with a winning Super Single then it went downhill fast.
I said the card was tough and that's how it proved and goals bets were even tough to pick.
None of my other bets were winners and it was the same story for Greg Browning, Desmond and Scott Allot. Star man though was Selectabet for members only with two winners out of two and a third one void.

Hopefully Sunday will be better and I'll post an English preview later. The games are Spurs v Man City, Man United v Stoke, Burnley v Arsenal and Leicester v Southampton.

I've spent so much time looking at stats and team news this morning that I missed the Man United (that was lucky), Juventus and Atletico Madrid kick-offs. Fancied them both and I said to Chris Guy last night I'm on his 9-1 with 888sport on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score with a header.
Anyway for the Super Single I'm going with Spain's big guns. Take Real Madrid -1 at home to Eibar who have lost five out of five against the giants with the aggregate being 15-0. Should be a 3-0 or 4-0 win.
Barcelona head to Celta Vigo without Lionel Messi but on confident mood after their midweek win at Borussia Monchengladbach. They're 1-2 so happy to go with the straight win.
Been impressed with Arsenal recently and should continue their progress with a win at Burnley. Add Athletic Bilbao not to lose at Malaga – they could make it five wins in a row but for an accumulator I'll go double chance.
Complete the treble with Roma to beat Inter Milan. Roma have won three in a row at home and while Inter's focus is not on the Europa League their display and defending at Sparta Prague in midweek was woeful.
Having seen the Ryder Cup pairings for the singles I've added a second Super Single. It's Henrik Stenson to beat Jordan Spieth who has looked out of sorts and yesterday was carried by Patrick Reed.

A wise man once told me to never bet on ‘unders’, but sometimes it pays to be reckless. I passed an opinion or two on Cardiff Met a few weeks ago when Hull was looking at their game against T.N.S and noted that, despite being a ‘university’ side, they aren’t to be underestimated. Since returning to the top flight, they seem to have recently found their footing with 3 wins on the bounce.
What stands out to me, though, is their apparent ‘park the bus’ mentality away from home. The scorelines on the road so far suggest they don’t want to give their opponents a sniff. In fact, their 4 away games this season are averaging less than a goal a game. Bangor are a top side and have been banging goals in at home, but this just lends further to the idea that Cardiff Met will go there to frustrate today.
There’s enough there for me to take a smaller stakes punt out of my comfort zone…

But plenty pubs to chose from, they started a ‘Linlithgow Trail’ where start at the black bitch and work your way down the street going for a drink in each pub getting your card stamped and get a t-shirt at the end of it. Black Bitch is just down from the rose ground so it’ll probably be 1st on the your schedule. Seen the Rose got Stirling Albion at home in a few wks in SC so might take a daunder across at HT wi the weans to that depending on weather

Hit the crossbar with Under 2.5 as a Cardiff Met late goal made it 2-1. Maybe I should’ve listen to the wise man I mentioned. Still, the more conservative treble wins and lands me a bit of profit for the day considering what I staked. A disappointing weekend on the whole though. Bloody international break now, too.

Bit of a mixed bag over in SA tonight and no doubt plenty to avoid – the trick is, trying to picked out the diamonds whilst avoiding the landmines of which there’s a few.
One that I’ll be avoiding – although it looks great on the surface- is the Defence Force game in Trinidad and Tobago – not saying it wont go according to short as hell odds but there’s something about T&T games/league I don’t like or trust.
However, there is 2 or 3 that look solid so will put them up closer to KO.
