THE Aberdeen game didn’t go to plan for Greg or myself last night. Greg backed the Dons and I went for both to score.
In the end Ross County won easily in a match where many chances were missed especially by the home side’s Northern Ireland international Liam Boyce.
So to Saturday and Greg says: It will be no surprise I’m sticking to what I know best (goals) after the shambles of Aberdeen. There are quite a few matches I like and the challenge has been whittling the shortlist down.
Tottenham v Liverpool (12.45pm)
It’s never ideal playing a club who have just appointed a new manager and given Liverpool’s recent domination of the the Londoners over the past few seasons this is a match I’m sure Spurs fans would have preferred during the the BR tenure.
Liverpool’s last 8 matches have seen both teams score and I can’t not see them scoring today especially with Jurgen Klopp taking charge for the first time.
The last 6 meetings between these two have yielded 25 goals, neither side has have been defensively strong this season and with enough attacking options on display we should see some goals with both sides contributing.
Back over 2.5 Match goals 4-5 (Skybet) (NAP)
Greg says: Normally I only post singles but said at the start of the season i would post an over 2.5 gosls treble on a Saturday. I have two for tomorrow – one Scottish and one English.
Scots over 2.5 goals
Rangers v QoS
Forfar v Ayr
Stranraer v Dunfermline
English over 2.5 goals
Middlesbrough v Fulham
Crewe v Gillingham
Port Vale v Peterborough
