OCT 17: DESMOND’S TWO 2s GOALS TIPS

Desmond

IT was one out of two again for Desmond last week so a small loss but he’s hoping to land his second double in three attempts on Saturday.

This weekeend he has targeted two teams sitting in the top six of League One.

He says: First up are a Bury side with eight goals scored in their last four (three wins and one draw). Bury entertain neighbours Rochdale who have conceded 11 in their previous four. Between them their last four combined matches have produced 31 goals so I expect Bury to score 2+ is a tasty 11-8.

Next up are pre-season favourites Sheffield United making the short trip to Oldham. The Latics are the draw specialists in this league but with their last four home games seeing 12 goals against (three defeats, one draw) I fancy the away side to get a couple here at evens.

2+ TIPS

1pt Bury to score 2+ (11-8)
1pt Sheffield Utd to score 2+ (1-1)

      9/4 at sky bet,

Desmond I also like the look of sheff utd, they have served me well over the last 2-3 weeks always scoring a bag full of goals, lets hope they continue the god work on Saturday..

Ub40, Leicester are a great price and stats do back it up, other than West Ham a couple of weeks ago (heavily tipped) I prefer to stay away from premier league.

UB40 I can’t argue with that. Colchester are very nicely priced away at Wigan as well.

After a poor week because of internationals I did a bit of studying last nite looking at loads of markets. Here’s what I came up with for this particular 2+ goals market

    St johnstone
    Rangers
    Airdrie
    Burnley
    Mansfield
    Chelsea
    Bayern

I’ll be splitting these into 2x3s (might leave out bayern) and a 6/7 fold. Some of these are on a cracking run of 2+ goals scored while I feel others (Chelsea) will come good this week due to opposition they are playing

Nice picks there..I’m liking Chester to get 2or more at home to poor Halifax(4/6)&Gillingham away at Crewe(3/4)they seem to always score..I’m gunna b brave and do a single on Chelsea to score3+(13/10)just a gut feeling we all know they can shut up shop..but I think they will get a few.Good luck all.

    Evening Des,

‘Dale have held the local bragging rights in recent years and the last 5 derbies have either seen a draw or a victory for our beloved neighbours.

H2Hs have their place but recent form is key for me and we are playing at a different level to anything seen at Gigg for a long time now…still, local derbies are often the ones that don’t go to form.

Will be checking tomorrow evening as ever for any late team news – still missing key players but certainly enough fire-power for the 2 team goals. Leon Clarke and Tom Pope both look good at 6/5 and 7/4 atgs respectively.

    Good luck pal.

Hullshaker, form does go out of the window with Derby matches but I hope that ends on Saturday. Hopefully keep 11 on the park this week!

Des, no team news out of the ordinary pal – Hussey’s banned and he’s a big miss – still maintain he’s the best striker of a dead ball outside the top flight…looks like Pugh will sit in as replacement.

I might have a smallish stake on o3.5tgs for Rangers, St Johnstone and Bayern.

Gents, very poor day, well done to anyone with any winners today. (think I will stay away from derby matches in future!
