IT was a day late but my Super Single landed thanks to over 2.5 goals at Verona Women. That was the second part of a double with over 1.5 Wrexham goals and paid 6-5.
Friday heralds the return of some of the main leagues and I've posted a separate preview on the Scottish Premiership clash between Ross County and Aberdeen. That game is also the focus of Greg Browning's attention although in a role reversal I'm on a goals bet and he's taking a match result.
It looks a tough one to call but I like both to score at 10-11 with William Hill. Bristol City take on Nottingham Forest in the English Championship and again picking a WDW is not easy so again both to score stands out.
In France there's a big game between Monaco and Lyon, Dortmund travel to Mainz in the Bundesliga and there are matches scattered all over the continent.
Dortmund are winless in five after 15 victories in a row but in those five they've scored. This could be sounding boring but again I like both to score rather than the away with the visitors missing four or five players.
Four out of six Mainz matches have seen both score and the the ones where they failed were defeats to Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
As we're on a btts run another to consider is Stromsgodset v Odd with the last four meetings bringing up this market.
Dundalk v Galway is one of the League of Ireland games while have the usual goals-laden favourites from the French and Dutch lower leagues.
I put up a Daily Double last night and have taken a bit of time off from doing my Daily Record columns to post a Super Single – which as it was on Wed/Thurs is a goals double.
Dundalk clinched the title last time out but will want to celebrate in style in front of their own fans. They've netted seven in two meetings with Galway who have lost all 10 matches to sides in the top four.
Prices on a Dundalk win and therefore goals bets are short but I'm happy to take over 2.5 goals and add over 2.5 goals in the Austrian First Division clash between Salzburg and Liefering. It was 5-3 to Liefering when they met in August and three of the last five meetings have gone over 2.5 goals with five of the last six seeing both score.
Richie Towell netted a hat-trick against Galway and has five goals against them this season but is odds on to score as are Dundalk to net 3+.
These two are the only ones I'm putting up today with the concentration now on Saturday's card.

As far as i can see dortmund are only missing shmeltzer, durm and sahin. The latter 2 are in training but its not expected theyl play. Can those playera not be replaced. Creteil v Brest Over 2.5 Goals (11/8)
While Brest have only had 3 games see more than 2 goals this season, 5 of their last 6 have seen both teams score. Creteil have seen Over 2.5 goals in 6 of their last 7 and are the second best team in the league for goals. 3 of the last 4 H2H saw this bet win.
Amiens v Lucon Over 2.5 Goals (6/4)
Both of these teams had low scoring starts to the season but have since been among the goals. Amiens have had Over 2.5 goals in their last 5, with 4 of those games going Over 3.5. Lucon’s last 3 have gone over, as have 5 of their last 7 which has included three 3-2 scorelines. This bet landed in both meetings last season.
Brauncshweig DNB (Evens)
Paderborn are struggling this season with 7 losses from 10 games and have only managed to score 5 goals. They did get a good draw in their last home game against St Pauli but followed that up by giving bottom of the table MSV their first win of the season. They come up against a side are yet to concede away from home and have won their last 3 road trips by an aggregate of 10-0.
Fulham U21 v Newcastle U21 (??)
English U21 games generally treat me well, and Newcastle U21 away games are a particular favourite of mine. There doesn’t seem to be any odds avaliable right now but if they become available I’ll be on Over 2.5 Goals.

Just been having a look at the Israeli 1pm kick offs…. As you do lol.
One that stands out is the hakoah Ramat gan vs kfar qasim.
Kfar are second in the league and in good form recently beating better teams than today’s opponents. There at 2/1 for the win.
Ramat gan are mid table and apart from winning the last game against the bottom of the league team they have been drawing against teams much worse than today’s opponents. They are strangely 23/20 for the win.
Admittedly I know nothing about Israeli football but if basing it on league position and form I think there’s value in the away win at 2/1 on b365.

Steven, I’ve got to be honest and say there’s not a lot you should expect to do with £20 but if you are happy to go slow put half on a strong evens money tip or even shorter and if it wins you’re off to a good start.
Yeah they are generous I thought to be fair. If it can be judged by the rapid display in b365 it’s fairly even in terms of play and 0-0 at the moment.

Was considering trying something to get as close to risk free as possible.
Would this work?
£25 on draw no bet Bristol to win = £40 returns
£10 free inplay on forest to win = £32.50 returns which minus the free stake is £22.50.
So if it’s a draw I’d presumably get my £25 stake back.
The worst outcome is losing £2.50.

Following on from Danny T’s posts about not being able to cancel his bet I’m sure everyone on here has done this at some point. For anyone new to this betting lark it’s definitely a good idea to double check your betting slips and also the amount staked. Its so easy to add an extra zero to a small bet which then becomes a very large bet to some people. Even more so as many people use mobiles these days to place bets. Its a cert now that after I post this I will make a mistake somewhere along the line soon haha :)

It’s never ideal playing a club who have just appointed a new manager and given Liverpools recent domination of the the Londeners over the pat few season, this is a match I’m sure Sputs fans would olhave preferred during the the BR tenure)! Never know quite what your going to get from Southampton but I fancy them to score twice today against a Leicester side who are yet to keep the ball out of their own net this season. Pelle and Mane have been pulling the strings up front with Davis and Tadic chipping in when they can. Shane Long will be out for a few weeks so Jay Rodriguez could see some time. BTTS is possible here but I’d much rather back the home goals. Just seen WillHill are doing a market called Both Score No Draw, and think that is a decent price @ 13/8.
Jose Mourinho has never lost two consecutive home games in his career and despite Chelsea being way under par, they are not in the water that Tim Sherwood has Villa in. Sherwood was 6/1 to be the next manager to be sacked last week, and you can now get that close to even money now being the favourite. With 4 losses in a row and the next 5 games looking very tough, he might be gone before the turn of the year. Chelsea will ‘welcome’ (used extremely bluntly) back Diego Costa which should give them a slight boost to their attack with Willian looking like he’s the only keen one playing football for the blues. No better team to put their bad run to an end against Villa in my humble opinion.
West Ham aka chalk and cheese are another side that you’re not sure what you’re going to get. Despite having the best away form in the league, they struggled in their last away game against Sunderland and were lucky to get a point after a second half red card saw Lens get an early bath for the Black Cats. Looking at their games its the ones that they aren’t expected to win or have much possession is where they have success, but when playing sides expecting to control the game, they have struggled. The 2-2 against Sunderland, 2-2 at home to Norwich, lost 2-1 away to Leicester and 4-3 at home to Bournemouth. This will be another game in what should quite open as both sides prefer the counter. Winston Reid is a doubt for West Ham who in my opinion is their best defender and will struggle with the pace and power that Palace possess with the likes of Bolasie and Sako.
Also as a United fan I’ll throw caution to the wind as there is no chance in hell we should be priced up as the favourites. Especially after our showing at the Emirates. The worst thing for us was to have a two week break, especially with Rooney playing with his head up his arse, no football for two weeks will not help that situation. I think Everton will score and you can get that at best @ 2/5 which I think would slide into an acca nicely, but I obviously can’t back that as a red. They turned us over 3-0 last season at Goodison and we just about kept the 3 points at home with a stellar performance from De Gea (heard that before) Our back four will still be made up of two midfielders in Blind, Young and/or Valencia, and that just doesn’t cut it in the Premier League. One clean sheet at home in the league this season, Villa. Doesn’t say much.

Agree totally with what you say about United Jordan,Rooney is following the same poor path he did last season. as for the back 4 how can a man of Van Gaals vast experience spend that amount of money and still have no first class cover for those possitions? We are also looking very short up front Rooney contributes nothing so we are left with a 19 year old premier league novice holing the line by himself and dont get me started on memphis,The guy is a joke too greedy and lacks the basic ability to provide a cross.Looks like United are going to have to rebuild all over again when Van Gaal finally picks his arse off the bench and vacates Old Trafford.
