OCT 13: THE SAINT GREG BROWNING’S GOALS TIPS

GregBrowning

GREG’S been sticking pins in his new Cesc Fabregas doll all day but has got round to picking some tips for Tuesday.

He was unlucky with yesterday’s double that was one goal short in the Ukraine v Spain game after Fabregas’s penalty miss.

Tonight’s tips are singles – no nap.

Turkey over 1.5 team goals 10-11
Tranmere over 1.5 team goals 4-6

Ive been following Greg’s goal tips for the past few weeks and see this as the way forward for the small stakes punter like myself. Thanks for the help and advice up to now and moving forward.

Can I ask for assistance for a challenge I’m set for the weekend?

I’m tasked with finding some winning bets on the weekend football coupons for a small syndicate at work. I have £16.00 to stake and want to place the vast majority (if not all) on the Over 2.5 goals market. Maybe factor in a couple of outright wins if there are any strong fancies.

Does anyone have any strong thoughts for the weekend? Due to the constraints of our night-shift we can only consider ideas up to 12:00 midnight Thursday.

    Thanking you in advance guys!

I’m on em Greg, two singles and the double.

Two more trebles posted on the other thread (one quite speculative for low stakes, the other including Tranmere to win)

Good luck to everyone tonight, including my beloved Bradford in the JPT :)

Sorry Kev, I only ever start checking the weekend’s card on Saturday morning personally. Otherwise it all gets too much for my little brain to cope with 😉

  7. PedroJord 2 years ago

Kev, if you click into the goals chart it documents the top 10 teams for goals scored, both to score and over 2.5 goals from this season plus the comments highlight some good potential picks outwith the top 10

    Hope that helped.

Gone on btts and over 2.5 in Bromley Cheltenham match. In Spain so can’t access 365. So have to let it run.we will see.

Frastar. I am Scottish, but never had a problem accessing uk bookies in Spain or USA. (Try 3g or phone them if its internet blocked.)

    I’ve gone for Turkey over 1.5tg and Cyprus v Bosnia over 2.5mg double @ 3.42 @ 365.

  12. Michael C 2 years ago

Putting 2 pts on each single and a point on the double.

Also hoping for Bradford to do the business tonight RobertC. We need a cup run, Wembley is missing us…..!

  13. dave-carlisle 2 years ago

I’ve gone for Croatia and Tranmere to score both halves on a double at 3/1.

  14. RobertC 2 years ago

I went to the Colchester game the other week Michael and we were a million miles away from the Wembley team. The team that hammered Northampton in the play off final would have run rings round the current lot – Swansea would’ve run up a cricket score against us!

When we bounced back against Rochdale it’s a shame the Blackpool game was postponed due to McArdle’s Northern Ireland involvement, or I’d have backed us heavily there.

Tonight I’m not so sure….we’ve got a goal in us I think but a clean sheet evades us (prefer Ben Williams to Brad Jones between the sticks!) – maybe bts if I was pushed but maybe best left alone.

Vamos master Greg. Let’s smash them.

Hmmm need goals soon ass is clenching here

De bruyne/man city wincast for the weekend 9/4 with paddy power 1/1 with skybet

  18. TheBoss 2 years ago

It’s not a NAP so hope you didn’t stake too much DafSmith

  19. Daf Smith 2 years ago

Stuck 50 on each haha ah well i’m prepared to lose if not do I cover?

  20. Daf Smith 2 years ago

Tell me about it may chuck a bit on Holland to lose still at 1/3!

  21. TheBoss 2 years ago

A goal in each would be good cover but at the moment under 1.5 goals for Turkey is 1/8 lol.

Don’t think a cover is a option. Just hope for goals.

  22. Paul 2 years ago

    Not looking good guys

  23. Phil 2 years ago

Wish people would stop tipping my team tranmere. Mr fixit tipped at the weekend in his treble, we lost. Greg tipped us to score 2 tonight, doesn’t look like we’ll score at all.

Phil, last week was a big surprise for Tranmere after a great run but that result put me off backing them tonight.
Someone put up team news saying Rovers had problems but it was probably too late.

  24. TheBoss 2 years ago

Damn just needed An Iceland goal for 6 BTTS for £150 of a £5!

    Not shopping there anymore haha

  25. RobertC 2 years ago

Tranmere were one of my first thoughts this morning, can’t legislate for them not turning up in a game they should’ve been comfy in.

  26. RobertC 2 years ago

I guess that’s a good illustration of why late team news is so important – I took a punt at midday and didn’t pick up on the problems and it blew one of my trebles out of the water

  27. Jim burnside 2 years ago

Tranmere do me fr a 14 timer jst team to score raging it hapnd on sat as well.mr f u done right steering clear of this hopeless lot.also they wer my own pick nvr read gregs column until jst now.

  28. RobertC 2 years ago

Yet another Bradford lead blown….bts looks a good call for them against most sides I’m afraid to say

  29. Phil 2 years ago

It’s unacceptable. Losing at home to Barrow and Eastleigh! Boo’s were crying out at the final whistle tonight. We’ve fallen so low. If we’d won those two home games we’d be 2nd with a game against 1st next to go top

  30. Kev Irving 2 years ago

    Cheers guys!

It was a big ask, there being three nights with football betting potential between my request and the games I want to cover.

I’ll keep a “watching brief” to see if any nuggets of information or inspiration break out.

  31. Jordan 2 years ago

Greg I had Tranmere Over 1.5 & 2.5 tonight before you posted it so glad to see it on here, not that they did the business for us. Look to the weekend bud.

  32. Frastar 2 years ago

Thanks for the advice. When I try and log in to bet 365 a message comes up saying their software has detected I am trying to access the system from spain and only spanish citizens based in spain can do this? Doesn’t matter as sky bet works fine. Just a bit strange?

  33. Frastar 2 years ago

P.s. Bromley – cheltenham btts andvover 2.5 WON.

  34. Frastar 2 years ago

    P.p.s

With the good lady wife so not supposed to be betting anyway. Here for her Birthday so supposed to be getting my undivided attention.

  35. Frastar 2 years ago

Bet 365 now say its because of differences in the law and they have suspended my account because I tried to access it and I have to call them when I get back to use it again. Ffs whats that all about?

Anyone else ever have this situation? Might try and get a free bet off them for poor customer service.

  36. Paul 2 years ago

    Frastar
I had the same problem in Spain, this year. Can’t place a bet unless I phoned, very disappointed.

  37. Frastar 2 years ago

    Hi Paul
Thanks for confirming this. Bit poor really isn’t it. Will leave it till I get back.

  38. Daf Smith 2 years ago

Never mind lads my 36/1 acc came in on the euros last night with a £5 stake thanks to czech republic at 6/1!!
